I think it could become plausible, but probably not for Shai. Imagine a Forger who is the son or daugther of a traveler, say a merchant or diplomat of some sort. The Forger could rewrite their history so that their parent was traveling to one of the Aonic lands and fell in love or had an affair with an Aonic person, resulting in the birth of the Forger, with Aonic blood to make it possible to become an Elantrian as well...

I think that Wax and Wayne, as twinborn, could each considered to be alloys of Allomancy and Feruchemy. Harmony is an alloy of Ruin and Preservation, etc. There are plenty of symbolic ways to interpret the meaning of the Title.

I can see them trying to build some fortresses in the shape of Aon Rao, kind of like mini-Elantris outposts to amplify AonDor in other places, such as Teod.

I just finished reading TES and was wondering if it was possible for a forger to turn themself into an Elantrian. They could rewrite their history to be born in Arelon and to have been taken by the Shaod. Would this give them access to both AonDor and Forging? How awesome would that be?

I don't know about this one. Are you saying that because Elantris never mentioned the MaiPon people (other than the MaiPon sticks) they must not have existed yet? Or that they weren't known about? I would say it's possible they never got mentioned because it simply wasn't pertinent to the story. Maybe Fjorden wasn't as worried about conquering them since they might be a small "empire". -

I'm of the opinion that it was the mists fueling this. The earlobe is a bindpoint for allomantic bronze, and while it's possible that you can also bind allomantic pewter there I think it is unlikely.

When did you learn about the Cosmere?

An army buddy introduced me to Mistborn, and I became a Sanderson fan real quick. I think I learned about the Cosmere after seeing Brandon announce WoK on his blog. I found the Stormblessedsite which has some cosmere stuff on there.
