  1. Assuming Kaladin lives of course. Cause although sad, I'm pretty sure Kal won't survive this series...
  2. After what had happened, James excused himself inside, and began to empty his stomach. "Why do people have to hurt each other?" He whispered to himself, and he didn't even bother to hide the tears beginning to fall
  3. In the days pre WoR Shalarin was a ship as well, and those two didn't even have a canon interaction at that point. Just goes to show that people will ship anything and everything Also, I don't think Brandon will redeem Moash given that Szeth and Venli are already receiving redemption arcs, and you can only pull off so many of those before it becomes the lazy option.
  4. Ah thanks. I literally just spent 30 minutes trying to find the best Sanderson Wordplay.
  5. From best to worst: 5, 3, 4, 7, 6, 1, 8, 2- however, I genuinely enjoy them all. Yes I have! I've seen "To Serve Man" as part of a school assignment on adaptation. I reckon that 'darkness' is nothing more than the absence of light. No. But I assume it's not a story the skaa would tell you? Yes I highly recommend WoT, particularly if you enjoyed Stormlight. Enough to tell the story that he has planned.
  6. Well, It's time to get hype y'all! We don't have a release date yet, but we do have this cool poster to look at now (which is more than we had before)
  7. Perhaps. But if it has come to a point where I can't accept a virtual lemon bar without hemalurgic reprecussions, I'm not sure I have faith in society
  8. My day's been pretty good, thanks. I don't know what that is, but it sounds like one of those things people use knowledge of to sound intelligent. Lightweaver all the way. I don't discriminate by genre, if it's a good song- I like it. Sure! Definitely Skyward- it's so well paced and fun to read
  9. Same here. I much prefer the prequels in terms of story, but they're dragged down by several things. I'm always going to prefer the widescale political and religious conflict of the prequels over the standard 'evil empire' story. (also the prequels are dramatically boosted in quality by the presence of The Clone Wars)
  10. If I had to choose just between the two- Waffles, but honestly I don't really love either.
  11. Well, I guess I'll make one of these. Go ahead and ask pretty much anything, and it will be answered (except politics and stuff, cause I don't want to deal with a flame war)
  12. I think it comes from being stuck in one character's point of view for the whole book. So it's either like book 6, where I loved being in Moon's pov and want to see more of that; or it ends up like book 8, where I just could not get into Peril's headspace for the life of me, to the point that it was a chore to read. Particularly coming off of SA, where if I didn't like a character's pov, I at least had the others to sweeten the experience. I also feel that the second plotline was kind of unnecessary. I will note that I thoroughly enjoyed books 1-5 and Darkstalker.
  13. I prefer the Star Wars prequels over the Original Trilogy. Boom. *Mic drop*
  14. So I guess I'm a Svrakiss now. Time to demonize some Elantrians!

  15. I'm currently not of the opinion that Jasnah will marry Sue, given that we don't even have a character named that
  16. And Weird Al. The guy just doesn't seem to age!
  17. "Something you should know about me is that I'm a pacifist" James said, "but I'll watch you guys"
  18. After finishing his lunch, James went upstairs to his room, and stretched out on his bed. Prom eh? he thought to himself, well this provides a predicament, given I know practically nobody in this house. He grimaced slightly at the thought. I could help The Nightwatcher offered, I'm great at cultivating relationships. Alright, he thought back, I'm game The Nightwatcher started humming in his head, as she got thinking- a minute later, James recognized the tune. "Matchmaker, matchmaker, make me a match. Find me a find, catch me a catch" James, sighed. This was going to be an ordeal if ever there was one.
  19. This is quite intriguing- the descriptions of the primary, secondary, and tertiary arcs have given me oodles to speculate upon. Rhythm of War is also growing on me as a title- I was initially firmly in the 'Song of Secrets' camp- but it's starting to feel right for the novel.
