Max felt the staff ago into Atticus’ face. It probably had blood all over it. Yuck. Max realised that while his Rioting was having some effect, he needed to specify what type of emotion he was bringing out. Docility, tameness, complacense, there were all feelings Max was bludgoning Attiucus’ mind with. The staff had made contact, but Atticus was still firmly pushing the hammer into Max’s one hand. Max had blocked most of the momentum, but there was no doubt, it would still probably hurt. As the hammer edged closer and closer to Max forcing his head and hand backwards, Max glimpsed the state of Atticus. He was hurt, very hurt. Maybe even more damaged than Max. If he let himself get hit to hurt Atticus one final time, would the gamble be worth it? Letting go of the warhammer for just a second, Max used both of his arms to take his staff in the body (it was still in Atticus’ cheek) and attempted to wrench it upwards and forwards, trying to get it further into his face. And then the Warhammer hit him. *** Mara reached the top of her arc gracefully, pushed up by the 20 coins she threw down. Despite appearing to be the most damaged person in the Arena right now, she felt she was the most graceful. Ambrosia had defended her attack, only a few of the coins Mara sent down had hit. But she still hadn’t freed herself from that box she’d made, with the Lines of Forbiddance. Mara could use that. Dropping a coin and landing elegantly on the hardened soil of the Arena floor, Mara took a second to admire his she was currently in the state of not getting killed. It was nice. Anyway. Mara turned to Ambrosia on the other side of a Line of Forbiddance, who was wielding some sort of weapon. The way she was holding it, it appeared it needed physical touch to transfer. Mara smiled. With all these Lines of Forbiddance, physical touch was going to be hard if Ambrosia couldn’t remove them. And there was no way Mara was going to give her the chance. Hopping around the box Pushing at any metal Ambrosia had on her body (including the weapon), Mara attempted to fling Ambrosia around in the inside of the box, never stopping to give Ambrosia a second of rest. Her steelpushes were slightly weaker when they went through an object, like the wall the Line of Forbiddance made, but Mara combated that by tapping more of her Nicrosil, trying to fling Ambrosia around with as much force as she could, switching her angle of attack regularly.

Oof. You’re going down. Prepare to be beaten by your pupils (or rather one of them I can’t decide)
-
Bud, when I’m done with Ambrosia and Atticus I would happily rematch you .

Vaisin tossed his hat in the air. At least it’s something, he thought as his hat slowly drifted downwards, hopefully onto his head. That’s when he saw the other person. “Tena, right?” Vaisin said, walking over to the person. “You served in the Seven Day War, right? Woah, I’ve, uh, got a collection of action figures from when I was a kid, and you’re, uh, one of them.” Vaisin hoped he wasn’t being too awkward, so he made a smile that only increased the awkwardness, and fidgeted around. “So, yeah, uh, cool.” @AxeliustheGreat

Mejin shook his hand and Vaisin nodded, despite being confused. She asked to go see the duel, and Vaisin said “Sure” except in a way more awkward way. They walked to the duel. Awesome. Currently, one dude was being destroyed by the other dude. “You can do it!” Vaisin yelled to the man getting destroyed. He was in a suit. That made sense. Why would you where a suit to a fight? He was pretty sure the DA did that, but they rocked that style. The musicians said interference was allowed as long as no one got to close. Vaisin considered using his Soothing-medallion Lusk gave him to help his fellow Ghostblood. But, Lusk said that was only for emergencies. Vaisin reached a dilemma.

Quietly and softly, a note flitted through the air and landed on the lady’s palm. It said: You’re hired.

Hello! Welcome to the Cosmere! If you’re looking for theories, we have tons. But beware, lots of them will have huge spoilers for Hero of Ages, even if you stick to the Mistborn section. What’s you’re favourite not-main character?

Lusk checked his watch. It was classy, and stylish. From an old shop on Scadrial, it was something Lusk liked wearing, even if it’s light colour contrasted heavily with the dark suits he usually wore. People were speaking of a duel. Two men had moved to the gardens. People were following them, but Lusk wasn’t one of them. He had things to do. Important things. Tapping a passing underling on the shoulder, the youth turned to face Lusk, and seemed to actually shrink under his gaze. “Watch. Make sure things do not get out of hand.” He handed the teenager a small disc. One part Nicrosil, one part brass. The message seemed to get across. The youth nodded quickly, eyes wide, as he accepted the medallion. “Yes sir.” “Good man.” With that Lusk left to a side door, checking behind for any tails. *** Vaisin looked around excitedly. He’d been assigned on a mission. Him! By Lusk himself! Sure, that mission was as simple as making sure this duel didn’t get too violent, but still, it was something. Vaisin felt the medallion Lusk have him in his hand, and dropped it in one of his pockets. Vaisin was excited. A duel! It was good enough that he was here, with so many celebrities. He and his other Ghostbloods had been told to skulk in the shadows, to watch and observe. Only the higher ups got to actually be a part of the party. Not Vaisin. He was a Ghostblood in training, you could say. His dark cloak may have looked cool, but it was a sign he was still practising how to be a good assassin. He hardly had any idea what to do around some of these people. They’d fought in the Seven Day War! Caught up in his own thoughts, Vaisin accidentally almost walked into two women having a conversation. One of them was a Ghostblood. Oh no, he thought. I hope this doesn’t reflect badly on my training! “Oh, I’m so very sorry,” he said, trying to remember his lessons on eloquent language. “I mean, please excuse me for my -” He stopped when he saw who he was talking to. “Wait a second, you’re Mejin, right? The Mejin? Woah, I never thought I’d meet you! I mean, pleasure to meet you!” He struck out his hand for a handshake, but then retracted it when he realised how unprofessional he was being. He looked to the other woman, another Ghostblood. Hopefully she wouldn’t tell any of Vaisin’s higher ups how awkward he was being. Unless she was one of Vaisin’s higher ups. “Uh, I mean, sorry again. You were in the Seven Day War, right? So cool. How was it?” @Silva @Sorana

Max felt the hammer sear past the forcefield, smashing through it. Luckily, it cancelled out the shock. Unfortunately, that still left the hammer. Holding one of his hands in front of his face, fingers outstretched, Max flexed his Aons, as he tried to catch the hammer. It hit him square in the palm, and while Max was sent back a few steps, he had a plan. Using his other hand, Max took out his weapon. A staff, sturdy and strong. A small press of a button and two blades came out of the ends. It was a pushing contest. Atticus pushing on the hammer into Max and Max pushing back. The only thing was, Max had his staff. Twirling it around in his free hand, Max tried to jab one of the sharp ends into Atticus’ face, hoping the man’s arms would be too busy wielding the warhammer to block. *** Ambrosia sent five chalk lines at Mara. The first and second hit hit her and sent to the ground, but right before the third hit her she put her obsidian short-sword in front of her, letting the line hit the sword and send that flying instead of her. She used her second shirt-sword for the fourth line, and a small dagger for the fifth. Looking at Ambrosia, it seemed she was making a protective shape around herself. Lines of Forbiddance. Mara knew these. Dropping a coin and shooting high the in the air, Mara saw her options. Lines of Forbiddance would defend Ambrosia from the sides, so Mara would have to attack from above. The good thing was, while Mara couldn’t directly move through the lines, Ambrosia couldn’t either. So while Mara sailed directly above her opponent, she knew she had her trapped. Dropping almost 20 coins in midair, Mara pushed them all down with a yell, hoping her opponent wouldn’t be able to break the box of Forbiddance in time to dodge.

Quick Fix Game 34: A Great Calamity
I think I am here. replied to BrightnessRadiant's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Though I want to keep up the pattern in my SE names and sign up as Itiah XI, I also want to join in on this Clue naming theme. So, Itiah XI is going undercover as Aristocrat Azure, a young bloke new to this place, with nothing to help him but a thick leather book, a monocle, and a nice coat.- 177 replies
