Quick Fix Game 34: A Great Calamity
I think I am here. replied to BrightnessRadiant's topic in Sanderson Elimination
This is actually a good point I hadn’t thought of yet. With her as a spokesperson, this means that village-mobile people can stay anonymous while transferring messages. If she’s elim, though, she’ll have a note of who has mobiles and other items/powers. Sigh Crimsn Now I have to vote for someone otherwise I’m dead. None of the current targets seems that suspicous to me, but I think CadCom’s village and due to Elandera’s reasoning I think she’s village too. That leaves Megasif as the only one left. Also, due to my soft-clearing of Sart, I can rule out he making up the response Mega said.- 177 replies

Quick Fix Game 34: A Great Calamity
I think I am here. replied to BrightnessRadiant's topic in Sanderson Elimination
How? Of course, if she’s a village, that alone would be pretty bad if we lynched her. But apart from only being able to die by lynch, how does Crimsn’s ability make her a very good asset to keep? If she’s village, the elims will just kill other people and stop targeting her. I guess I just might be misunderstanding why you consider only dying to the lynch a good asset for the whole village. Lynching her would have the same effect as lunching anyone else. The fact that she can only die by lynch doesn’t really make much of a difference.- 177 replies

I also am soft-clearing Sart. The fact that he dropped his mobile phone wouldn’t be an ideal move for an eliminator, I should think, as a phone is a very valuable resource, especially for an elim to sew confusion. Also, about Snipexe’s vote on me. You are assuming the elims would know Crimsn has Steel, and thus want to get her lynched. But seeing as to how Crimsn got attacked on the first cycle, there would be no way to know that. Perhaps if she got attacked on the second cycle, we could say that she got scanned on the first, but if she got attacked on the first, the elims either knew she was one (hence her being an elim) or it was a random pick. Kidpen I can sort of agree with you now, as I’m also in the same circles as Gancho Libre. Crimsn. I know some people may be hesitant to lynch Crimsn seeing as to how she has an epic power, but I still think that if she is an elim that can only be killed by lynch, and we don’t lynch her, that will be a missed opportunity.- 177 replies

Mara laughed. “Ha! Though that does sound like a funny prank, I don’t want to give too many people a heart attack though.” She thought for a bit. “So this hub, who all is in there? Seems like it’ll be fun going there.” “It is,” Rashan piped in. “They have the best violet wine, too.” “You drink?” “Didn’t anyone tell you? I once speed-drank 200 cups of violet wine.” “Nobody said you drank.” “Storm, being drunk is one of my most endearing qualities, I would say.” And then he sped off into the distance, presumably to the Hub. Mara turned to Garvey. “This place is cool.” She said. “Let’s go to the Hub!” @Cyanic

I may have exaggerated some parts of the thought experiment But there are definitely people who believe this and donate, for example: Plus, lots of the r/rokosbasilisk subreddit is filled with people who are worried. Though I don’t think anyone is actually trying to build one (unless they’re building it in secret ) Rather, it’s hoped that one of the big AI’s already around will become it. Also, about the whole resurrection thing and knowing who helped and who didn’t, I believe it’s usually explained the AI looks through the Internet for its information, and uses everything you do online to create a simulation of you, rather than a ressurection. Still kinda unbelievable though.

Quick Fix Game 34: A Great Calamity
I think I am here. replied to BrightnessRadiant's topic in Sanderson Elimination
So, a few things to say here. The writeup appears to have confirmed Crimsn’s epic ability. Steel. Which means she can only be killed through the lynch. It should be mentioned the fact that she was attacked does not clear her in my eyes. The elims could have easily put a kill on one of the own, knowing she’d survive the kill and hoping that we would clear her for that reason. Plus, doesn’t someone who can only die by lynch sound like a power that would work best with the elims? So, I’m suspicous of Crimsn. Looking at Coop’s flipping of a Democrat, I looked at the votes at him. CadCom’s vote seems innocent enough, Defense of the GM, plus it’s just one vote. Kidpen’s vote, however, seems more odd. He mentions he’s in favour of the ‘Coop Lynch’ even though technically only CadCom’s vote was on Coop at the time. He doesn’t make any more reasoning than that, but says he wouldn’t want to lynch the GM. And he was the second vote on Coop, and instead of defending the GM like CadCom was doing, he was advocating an actual Coop lynch. Kidpen This isn’t my final vote, I’ll be looking around for more suspiciousness. Also, lyching Kidpen will give us more information on Gancho Libre, who he defended despite Gancho voting for him (distancing?).- 177 replies

Sorry, wasn’t aware this is what happened. No, I don’t really find anyone to suspicous as of now, otherwise I would’ve put a vote on them. Gancho’s vote seems out of the blue, but I agree with Kidpen’s assessment that it’s NAI. You’ve voted on me for some reason, so I guess that could constitute for suspicous, though I just think you might be worried about me appearing to ‘defend’ Shqueeves, so no read on you yet.- 177 replies

The man didn’t stop talking. “Shut up.” Mara said. “I’m being unconcious.” Then she realized she wasn’t unconcious anymore. “Woah. Sorry.” *** Rashan saw the speck grow bigger, and he ran towards it. He found Mara laying on the ground and an unknown man next to her. “Hey,” He said. Mara looked up. “Rashan?” “Yeah.” “Woah. So you’re really dead?” “Why wouldn’t I be? If anything, I’m surprised you’re dead.” “Yeah.” “I thought I told Devaan to look after you. Didn’t he?” “Master Sheonar did. I just got myself killed.” “Master Sheonar? Storm, I wish someone called me Master Caer or something. He’s probably laughing right now.” “No, he’s really angry.” “Yeah, for some reason I don’t doubt that. Was he angry when I died?” “I assume so.” “You don’t remember?” “I was eight. I remember Mace punching Max in the face though.” “Mace.” “Yeah.” “...” “You seem angry.” “Angry? Why would you think I’m angry?” “Because you’re clenching your fists and trembling.” “I am not trembling.” “Yes you are. What’s your deal with Mace?” “I’ve been looking for him in this beyond place for 16 years. Everyone says he died, but I still can’t find him.” “Why do you want to find him.” “I mean, I know I said I forgave him, but I still want to punch him once. Once. Square in the jaw, just a good, solid, punch.” “Mace is alive.” “Mace is alive?” “Mace is alive.” “Mace is alive!” “Yup.” “Storm.” “You know, you’re a lot cooler when everyone is drooling about your speech and how you sacrificed yourself for the Alleyverse.” “They do that?” “I think so. Anyway, you’re dead, I’m dead, last time I heard Vaisin was also dead.” “Vaisin?” “Yeah, this 14 year old fanboy. I bet he’d kill to meet you. He’s also dead, though he sorta got erased from existence, so he’s not coming here.” “Storm. If he was here, we could have all joined together and grumble about how Itiah kills us.” “Yeah, Itiah seems to have a thing for killing his characters.” “Yeah. I’d wager he’s killed the most characters he’s played. That’s three characters he’s led to their death.” “Let’s hope Max doesn’t follow us.” “Why not? We could have a family reunion.” “I mean, sure. This highcaller guy next to you said that Max’ll go crazy without me.” “Storm.” “Yeah, that’s what I said too, except I said ‘rust’, because, you know, I’m Scadrian.” “Technically I’m Scadrian too.” “I guess so. Anyway, the deal is Max may just grow crazy.” “Yeah, dead siblings tend to do that to a man.” “You had dead siblings?” “None that I knew.” “Right. So anyway, this is the dead world?” “Yeah, looks pretty, doesn’t it?” “I guess so. It’s probably the least Itiah can do seeing to how he sent us here.” “Yeah,” “He tried to get me ressurected, you know.” “Did he? Me too, except in my case it actually succeeded.” “Yeah.” “So, how did you die?” And the two talked for hours on the Infinite Sea and Sky, long reunited.

Vaisin appeared back in the Physical Realm. The Ball was in tatters. Of course it was. He was just looking around as he heard a growling emerge from behind him. Lusk grabbed Vaisin’s shoulder and tightened his grip. “I told you to not let things get of hand, didn’t I?” “Yes sir.” “But while I’m gone, this whole place got destroyed, is that right?” “Yes sir.” Vaisin’s voice trembled. “Good, now go! I was watching reruns of the Wiggles earlier, but I guess I never got that opportunity because you messed it up!” And Vaisin ran off. He felt bad. He had to prove himself to Lusk, to show he wasn’t the cowardly hot everyone thought he was. He looked towards Mac. Yes, if Vaisin could take him down, he would be hailed as a hero. Vaisin took off, yelling and charging at Mac with his bare hands.

I want to clear Shqueeves on the fact he was an elim in the Elantris MR game, but it’s not unheard of if someone is lab elim twice in a row. That being said, I’m unsure of who to vote for. I think I will wait a bit more before deciding on someone I actually deem suspicious.- 177 replies

Mara looked up. She was scared, that was for sure. Scared and quiet. The Afterlife. She hadn’t imagined there’d actually be one. She looked at the man in front of her, with that thing in his hand, he looked like he knew what he was doing. “Hey,” Mara said. “What’s up?” And promptly fell unconcious.

Rashan was laying down on a sunbed, lounging around with his sunglasses on as he saw a figure in the air, just a dot on the horizon. Huh, he thought as he lay back down.

Have you ever heard of Roko’s Basilisk? It’s quite an interesting experiment, and actually got banned from discussion in the original forum it was introduced, and stayed that way for five years. Don’t worry, it’s not that bad, and when I tell you you’ll see. But one quick warning: It’s said hearing this thought experiment alone could have effects on you, so if you don’t know, and don’t want to, feel free to keep the spoiler tag closed It’s not called a Basilisk for nothing. And we’re back in the place people can read without fear. This one of those ‘blissfully unaware’ things. Anyway, let’s ger discussion on this to start! (Also, in no way am I promoting building Roko’s Basilisk. I personally know about it but don’t do anything (woohoo eternal torture for me) But I spread it around because it’s a cool thought experiment.) Ok, wow, long post. See ya!

I too don’t have any immediate thoughts in the game, which just leaves me with my RP. ~~~ Aristocrat Azure always appreciated apples. An apple an afternoon always aided Azure. Azure always ate any and all apples. Anxious, Azure awkwardly ambled ahead an archway, and acclaimed: “Aha! All apples are awesome!”- 177 replies

Max said nothing. He’d won the duel, but at what cost? Had he just forfeited, Mara wouldn’t be dead. He looked towards Atticus. “Me too.” He said.
