Hey Joe. You know that alliance we may or may not have? Do you want to make it a real thing (unless it already is of course)?

Metallurgy and Investiture (New)
I think I am here. replied to old man moomba's topic in The Alleyverse
~~~~~~~Some time later~~~~~~~ Alask jogged to a final stop, the shop looming over him. He turned back to see if Laonin and the other guy had followed him. "Here we are," he panted. -
"Sure," Alask said, stepping in front and signalling for them to follow. He'd rembered the directions since the last time he'd been there.
Well, I have officially given up on cracking Dev's code.
CadCom, why don’t you just reveal the name in thread? Then we have a Rithmatist World War This is a code. I know it. And the pig Latin is just a red herring as well as a signal to his allies he’s stared using it. It just seems some things are too there on purpose (eg. Quite devoted to Sanderson Elimination - why not just say SE? Why even bring it up? Or “said person who plans” why not just say “person who wants to kill me?” too specific with certain things). But I’ve been trying first letter of every sentence, and a bunch of other things, but I swear there’s a code there. On the contrary, I don’t know about this. It seems too obvious, like he’s deliberately typing random letters and numbers (the alternating 1s sort of confirm random typing). Same with the letters. I’ve tried cracking whatever code’s in there (converting numbers to letters etc.) But I cant find anything. I think maybe he’ll have another real code to deploy later while keeping us distracted with random streams of text. Because I don’t doubt he’s got a code. Mail’s great at this sort of PM stuff. I’ve been bamboozled. This is written to imply you and I are in an alliance, but I can also imagine that this is a ploy to make it seem you have allies, just like the last one
This is written to read like you chose Matson and are revealing the results to your PM partner, but I can also imagine that this is a ploy to make it look like your Matson when you’re actually Ballantain or Taylor.
Guess That Cosmere Character! Forum Edition!
I think I am here. replied to Kidpen's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Max nodded, not pressing the topic. Maybe Althea’s sister had something to do with Solace being here? Max tried his best to be systematic, going through rooms one at a time. Althea’s statement about stormlight made Max check his own Investiture. He had a substantial amount of Rioting left, after saving all of that up after Oasis. “Do you think he’s alone?” he asked, looking up. There was a second story. They’d have to check that next. @Lord Meeker
Max followed Althea, Sethramir appearing in his hand as he proceeded into the dilapidated building. Solace was here, but why? This place looked like a ruin. Maybe he was looking for something? Max could only guess. “Any idea why he would be here?” He whispered to Althea, creeping through a room.
Names are hard for Dakhor, since we only know two, Hrathen and Dilaf. I guess that also means you don't have to follow any conventions, and can just name them whatever you want. Alidarn? Blanifen? Cranthel? Detran? Elratch? Fahram? Ghovinal? I could go on just making random names
-
But what if we swear to be non-interventionist with it?
-
They actually were, until we discovered the two sacred secrets to creation: And the rest is history.
-
No, Voidus. The Future.
Glue.
Max accepted the key and the address, and looked to Althea. “Don’t be sorry,” he said earnestly, putting a hand on her shoulder. “You didn’t mess anything up. And these questions exist to be asked. And you made the right choice asking it.” As she switched topics he did too. He didn’t have his armour on him currently, but it would be fun to do something without it. “Yeah, ready.” He said.
Max nodded, finishing his cereal, then getting to put the bowl in the sink. “Sounds good,” He said.
-
Max walked over to a fridge and got out a carton of milk. He got out a box of cereal from a shelf and a bowl and began making breakfast. "That makes sense," he said, looking over to her, but she was focused on cutting the apples so he went back to his cereal. "Last time I saw him, he was getting decapitated by some guy. He could be in danger." He finished, putting back everything where he found it, or at least, where he thought he'd found it, and carrying the bowl to the table. "Plus, it could be dangerous, and I want to be there. When're you planning to go?"
Ghostbloods are the like the Chaotic Neutrals of the Alleyverse. You want to blow things up? We do that. You want to research how to creatively apply fabrials. We do that. You want to assassinate people. We do that too! *We also used to host sudokus every week, but this was stopped after people kept killing each other with the sheets.
-
Max just sat there, thinking. She'd asked him to forget about it, so Max tried his best, focusing on the moment, the embrace, Althea. "Sorry," he said, trying to smile. "I probably shouldn't have been a downer like that." He sat up more, rubbed his eyes. "I'll probably have cereal," he said, getting up to make it.
It's not bad, but it's quite powerful, especially since we're trying to be less of that in the next era. Looking at your character, I used the points Index to basically calculate how many points your character has. It's not a hard limit but it's a great guide to how powerful your character should ideally be, since I think the cap is now somewhere around 110 -115. 3rd Ideal Radiant: 100 Skilled Hand-to-Hand fighter: 50 Forger: 60 Division (I used the points for the division fabrial): 45 So that's 255 points. But we still have to factor in weaknesses. I think you could minus about 15 for his curse, and 10 for getting disturbed about harming innocents. So about 230 points. Which is far more powerful than recommended, so you can either try to make more weaknesses, or you could tone down his powers.
I thought the Melody ability was to be added onto the existing rithmatist.
