Thanks! Brandon never really said what happened after Calamity left. I'm really curious what would happen, or maybe what the world would look like 10, 20 years down the line. Maybe a kind of world-wide government gets formed? He might do a follow-up on that at some point.

What would even happen when calamity left? I imagine there would be mass chaos as the corruption suddenly stops. Some people would stay the same, and some would suddenly realize what they had done and freak out. Imagine what would happen in any of the cities ruled by one Epic that suddenly freaked out and stopped being evil.

May I join? I'm thinking of a character that can basically Nicroburst people, to go along with the dictator theme. I actually LIVE in Salem Oregon, so I'm sad to see my state leave the spotlight. I like the idea of the crisis meeting. If the city is destined for a dictatorship, then we should probably designate the dictator-to-be from the start.

I voted Canada but Alaska would be kind of cool. And yes, powers would be affected by which climate you got them in, as powers are at least partially based off of your desires, which would be affected by where you got them.

They even have customs that you can go through. You can like, arrive, and things like this. Don't go to Sel. Sel is not good to go to. Sel is really dangerous to go to. There's a dead Shard--two of them--in the Cognitive Realm that will destroy you. Other places, Scadrial, used to be a lot easier to get to. Roshar, depends which era you're talking about.
