I'd almost feel something like Tyranny would work better. Benevolent Tyranny, maybe, but Tyranny all the same. -

I don't think that means that they weren't hunting the newly formed Radiants the whole time, only that recently, rather than laying low and staying solo, the new Radiants had been grouping together more so there wasn't any room for leniency anymore. -

Probably not easily. They'd have to Invest in Sel over a long time anyway, and even if they did manage to put the Dor back into the Spiritual, the whole magic system would probably get temporarily wrecked until or unless someone Ascended. -
The correct compounding might be able to do it.

Stronger might not be the best way to think about it. Vin is a different magnitude than Wax is, due to the raw difference in power between a Mistborn and a Misting or even a Twinborn.
