  1. it's probably hard to detect external cytojumps. That, or he was programmed to exclude them from his sensory equipment.
  2. And likely Plate as well, given her...reactions to it being mentioned.
  3. Anyone have any connections to a game development studio or something that you could get me a line to?

  4. Being able to see the stars freely is the best part of it, with the smells of the trees being a close second. The experience is irreplaceable.
  5. I am an Eagle Scout, now aged out of my troop. Favorite merit badge was probably Camping, just because I really love camping and it gave me an excuse to be out in the wilderness on the weekends.
  6. Hardcover. I know it's more expensive, but the paperbacks rip in half after a read or two. They're so large that the spine can't handle it well. The extra cover art that I think paperback doesn't get are just a bonus for being able to read as many times as you want without losing pages.
  7. Indoor skydiving, yeah. Never have I ever had my wisdom teeth taken out.
  8. Highstorms probably primarily get their water from the ocean between the Origin of Storms and the continent itself. There's a lot of water in that expanse, so a highstorm's amount wouldn't be missed, even if it takes longer to get back there than it would on earth. As to where the water goes, probably disappears into the underbelly of Roshar. There have been references to caverns a couple times (where the Purelake retreats to and the caverns beneath Urithiru), so between those and the normal "drain into the ocean" thing, it probably takes care of most of it (especially on the Plains, where one end backs out into a coastline iirc).
  9. Xisis is chilling on Vax. I mean they've both got cool names, so it makes some strange form of sense.
  10. Blood pudding (it's really sausage but okay). I don't have the tools to make it when I'm at college, and otherwise it's pretty much a once-every-other-year thing because of how wack it can be.
  11. What if you started mix-and-matching ideas here? Two underlying forces (death and life), the ability to make constructs and macromagic with runes and gemstones to invoke some of that, but some people are born able to channel it on their own, either death or life, where life would allow conversations with animals and growth of things and death...well death do what death do. Doing one thing is overrated. Do everything.
  12. Thirded!
  13. Perhaps. In one of the hypothetical questions, Brandon mentioned something about them being dead for nine hundred years, but there's another one that just straight up says we haven't met any of his children (though that's from 2018).
  14. That cliffhanger killed me. I want to know what happens when a material being enters a dark matter realm of some kind, or whatever the nowhere truly is, and if there are any remnants of the previous acclivity stone mining operations around and about in there. I gotta know.
  15. Or one of Rashek's kids floating around.
  16. What if they're the actual Truespren?
  17. Yeah I'm out of ideas.
  18. If you put your mouse on something, it'll highlight it on your screen. If it has an arrow beside it, you can expand it into the parts, then expand what's in there. If you see text in the line that matches up with the portion of it that's in the bit you're selecting, you can double-click it and change it.
  19. Premade?
  20. Boosting them enough to pierce all of the realms and transport through them would probably alter their natures. Not stripping something from them to Unmake them into something less, but Remaking (or Reforging, but that's too close to Shai stuff for my tastes) them tino something more and something better.
  21. Unless you have admin permissions for the site, you can't do anything permanent. Just hit refresh.
