  1. The Parshendi being unable to (until this point) bond with spren deep enough for Surges was the betrayal they're talking about it. I'm going to let someone more knowledgeable answer the rest of it.
  2. Yeah, Nale thinks Ishar is actually sane, but he's not. They're all crazy. As to their use, Taln and Ash both get POV books in the back half, so we'll see.
  3. That is a theory I also support, and does seem to line up with the things Hrathen and Dilaf say about them. I'm just keeping my options open to other things as well.
  4. Even better: put Breeze in with hyper-intelligent Taravangian.
  5. That's fair. I loved the Reckoners universe too, so I was sad when I heard AG might not be happening too.
  6. Given the possession thing, it's likely they're some form of Cognitive Shadow, which, yeah, it'd be their true form as it is in the Cognitive Realm. What if a singer wasn't something new? What if the singers are the Faceless Immortals? Explains both facets.
  7. Reckoners-earth is pretty cool. I hope he gets to Apocalypse Guard soon.
  8. Hello! Welcome to the Shard! You're going to have a lot of fun here (I hope, because it's fun here). Fair warning, accept no cookies. What's your favorite world Brandon has used?
  9. Feruchemy because I need to be able to store my memories of BSandy books and read them fresh.
  10. The DA is the issue here, not the worthiness of the cookie.
  11. I remember that broadsheet! I think what the person saw was one of the Set's "Faceless Immortal" things, though that those are is a matter of some debate. I can't find anything about Felt having a wife that worldhops (or a wife at all) but it's very possible I just can't find it. Demoux does, though.
  12. Doesn't make it trustworthy, just not DA.
  13. Yeah, K2S0 for sure.
  14. Don't take any cookies offered to you here. They're bad. Welcome to the Shard! What's your favorite world in the cosmere?
  15. He's just nuts. I'd be willing to be the majority of them were there, honestly.
  16. I'd be willing to bet that has something to do with what they actually are made of. The Blades need to sync with the user and become more attuned to their needs, making them able to flex and bend without breaking. Plate doesn't need any of that. If the lesser spren vs higher spren Plate vs Blade theory is correct (I'd buy it), it might be because of the difference in intelligence of the spren.
  17. I pretty much just use Alan Tudyk.

    Era 3 team

Vin is a little bit of an exception to the normal rules of Mistborn strength and fighting capabilities. Plus, the devolving power strength might have smacked Era 3 around a little bit and the Mistborn killer won't be as strong as the Mistborn we're used to. I don't know if BSandy said it would get stronger, though I will go check. Edit: found a WOB connected to that! So it looks like it'll plateau out at some point and something *cough cough* Hemalurgy *cough cough* will be used to bypass the limitation.
  19. The twist of a lifetime: Roshar was actually just Scadrial.
  20. Shardblades and Plate is so last Weeping. Let's get some fun uses! Shardsled. Shard-dodgeball. Shardbouncecastle. Shardbook. Shardpicture. Shardpinball. What are some fun uses with Shards y'all can think of?
  21. Would you be able to Soulcast from inside it? That seems like it would be difficult.

    Era 3 team

A-tin is mostly to be used as a spy, not really on the team at all, more just a contact. F-tin would be useful, I'll admit. It's not unreasonable to think that by this time, people would have figured out (as practice is gained via more available metal) how to anchor Connection tapping to people, which has been hinted as possible, increasing your ability to convince them. Also speeds along negotiations if they're viable, since you can artificially establish a connection that normally takes psychologists weeks to do.

    Era 3 team

    Probably an A-Tin, an F-Pewter, an A-Bronze, an A-Brass and/or Zinc, F- and A-Steel, and probably F-Connection as well.
  24. Wal-Dee. Or y'know, we could just say that Wal-Do is a particularly ironic name.
  25. "I think you'll find our service is a little disrupted right now, but I'll look in the back and see what we have." Malu turns around and goes into the back room, eventually coming back out with a slice of pineapple cake. "This...isn't the best cake, but it's all that is still in a servable condition. The ice cream has all melted, apologies for that."
