  1. "Okay, then. I guess we just...pick fires and get going?"
  2. "Good idea, but let me take care of that wrist first, it doesn't look so good." Malu sent a directed Progression wave of Stormlight through Johnny. "What...is this thing you've just handed me, anyway?"
  3. So now we have chalk. Should I know what this is supposed to do? Malu thinks, very confused.
  4. "Does it look like you can order food? We're all busy trying not to be rusting murdered!"
  5. Trouble with that is, Kaladin's Stormlight burns off fast. Faster than a lot of other Radiants. It's unclear how that matches up to Jasnah's, but I'll bet his goes out first, allowing Jasnah to get in close with magic left in the tank.
  6. I don't think dragons are on the level of Big A, honestly.
  7. Oh! Oh! I have an idea for you! Have you ever heard of Beta Books? It's a website for finding beta readers that you can upload chapters to, and you retain all rights.
  8. While he's with the rogue parshmen, moving across Alethkar. There was a spren travelling with the group, a yellow-ish, white-ish spren lady that talks to him towards the end of the journey asking him what he was doing. It was also how he got discovered.
  9. Malu ducked to the side, snagging his brass knuckles from their hiding place under the bar and slipping them on in one smooth motion, Stormlight filling his body from his vest's gemstones.
  10. I was mostly talking about Bean, honestly. I pretty much forgot you were DA now. Okay, now you're an unsavory person.
  11. "What do you even want with this tavern, huh?"
  12. I have no idea, honestly. He could have just been trying to prevent someone from doing so or it's a misunderstanding. That was just my best guess at what he meant, and I have literally nothing to back that up.
  13. Pretty much what RShara said, but there are theories about Stormlight making plants grow among the humans (Taravangian references it in Oathbringer, when he calculates how much plant life Urithiru could support), though the results are speculated to be contaminated somehow.
  14. Hey there! Welcome to the Shard, we have a lot of fun here. I'm gonna put some warnings into a spoiler box for you, just so certain unsavory people don't attempt shenanigans. What's your favorite magic system so far?
  15. "Hey, friend! I know you're tired, but there's a maniac in here right now. Care to help?"
  16. I think he means you shouldn't classify the Everstormspren as an Unmade because it was never unmade in the same way as the rest of them are, it was just created.
  17. Theoretically, yes, you would need the help of another Shard, but I don't think you necessarily need to have Odium taken up by someone else after killing Rayse if you had a big enough gemstone.
  18. I would somewhat agree with you, except for the fact that it was more the human portion of that conflict that allowed it to go to completion. Also, the circumstances here allow for a mortal to beat Odium within the agreement set forth; the contest of champions.
  19. Funny that you would say that with a name derived from Mistborn, where we saw this exact scenario (human vs Immortal) play out. That's not to say I don't think Dalinar would stand a chance as he is now, but I do think he will eventually, in some capacity, best Odium. Even if he dies in the process. Dalinar seems like the kind of person that would be perfectly willing to take Rayse down off of his Odium pedestal by way of MAD.
