Right there with you on this! I absolutely hated the love triangle! I am glad that whole thing is over and i want it to remain that way!

Well it is a common complain about Fantasy genre that every main character has to find their One True Love!! But i think it is a tool that authors use to make their readers emotionally invested in the stories. Something i agree SA does not really need. But the reason why want kaladin to find someone because i think, he has expressed desire to want that in OB. He can have a few failed relationships before finding one that works for him in the 2nd arc of SA!

Jasnah has no current romantic interests neither do Renarin nor Lift nor Szeth. But Kaladin being the main central character, i think, who has already been a part of a love triangle-ish scenario, will be getting some serious romantic relationships.

Twok? not Words of radiance? which i think is the majority opinion? Twok was an excellent introduction to the series, no doubt! But words of radiance was fulfilling of a promise made in twok : to see kaladin interact with Dalinar and adolin and develop a relationship filled with mutual respect! But Oathbringer, on a reread you realize just how excellent it is. It gave us so many answers, we got to meet 5 unmades! all three shards! we went to Shadesmaar and I just love Dalinar's arc and its resolution in the book! I did not expect brandon to make Dalinar such a ... hateful monstrous war-monger!! but he went there and still made me forgive him. And then the whole I am Unity is the best endings for me!

I think that he Loved her but she found him at a bad time in his life. Tien has just died and kaladin had immersed himself into training. Besides he was too young to appreciate what he had. But kaladin thinks very fondly of her and hopes that things could have gone differently. Whatever I saw of her in that one flashback scene showed a mature determined strong woman. I have no objections to getting to know more about her. I personally think she has been mentioned enough times and they had a falling out she is not dead, sounds like foreshadowing to me of a future possibility.

Yup an indication that something is wrong with Renarin’s bond. I also like the one where Shallan saw Jasnah get stabbed in the chest and thinks she is dead but later goes into her cabin to find no body. Later she tells Navani that Jasnah is for sure dead because she was stabbed through the chest! But much later, to dalinar shallan says she will remain on the shattered plains, she is quite sure that even a stab to the heart would not kill her! At this point, I was like then why do you think that Jasnah is dead!!!

I think it is because of the iriali’s and their inter breeding with humans that then caused yellow eyes. Violets is supposed to be rare in Alethkar too I think. I remember Navani has violet eyes. The other we know is Shalash.

I have always believed that. I agree some individual exceptions are of course possible.

It is also possible that Alethkar was a land predominantly of windrunners and other nations jah keved and theylen similarly belonged to other orders, therefore we find that certain eye colours like blue, green etc in light eyes are more common in Alethkar which we have seen more of. If we were to meet other light eyes of other nations, may be we will come across other eye colours too. One problem is also that other nations have not married only amongst light eyes and therefore they have less light eyes

I have asked this question before and I was told that with SA his rough draft is pretty on point and it takes very quick 3-4 drafts for the book to be final, so, if he finishes the rough draft in this month, there is a very strong probability of getting the book next year a November or December release
