I think trying to summon the delvers and to use them to destroy detritus was against the laws and ideals of superiority. That is why he tried to blame the summoning of delver on the humans! And using live fire in that test was also against the ideals of superiority.

I don’t know, it is the whole do ends justify the means question. But my doubt is I do not even trust that his ends are “survival of mankind” and by his, I mean, the above average lacks compassion T who sits and interprets the diagram. I do not think this T cares at all about humans, but he is clever enough to give this guise to his true nefarious intentions. The super genius T surely I hope, wanted human survival and probably will yet surprise us all in the end.

I think They could be already dead or some antagonist who might be in a deadly situation in some future book.

I never could understand why that should absolve him of anything! What was his plan all along? He wanted to kill all the leaders so that he can then unite them! But he weakened Jah Keved Just so he can become their king! Why become their king if you are going to abandon them the first opportunity you get? Thaylen battle was actually a first human victory! Mere handful of radiants were able to defeat odium’s forces. So why did he decide after that, that humans are doomed and I need to align with odium to ensure mankind’s survival? It does not add up. He decided this not because he is genuinely worried about humanity’s chances of survival, he has lost hope of replacing Dalinar as the leader of honor’s forces so he decided to join Odium’s.

Favourite shard world is Roshar! Would definitely love to live there! I would love to visit Era 1 Scadrial but the current one, mah! But I am curious about Yolen too! Oh I would love to see the shattered plains! I want to see the highstorm too. Nothing is more dangerous than Roshar though

Yes she defended him later but at that time she was being very mean to the poor boy! I find her Veil persona to be very irritating.

My dislike of her was well set by the time book 2 and 3 came out. I confess that I too have disliked her in book 1 also. But I agree That I disliked it when she called Kaladin a peasant but I also disliked her when she was mean to Renarin! Calling him creepy and weird!

So basically from the very beginning I agree though steal the soulcasters from the princess of Alethkar! Great idea !!! instead of the very reasonable plan of gaining her wardship and eventually her trust and then asking for jasnah’s help with the soulcaster. Her soulcaster is not sanctioned by the Ardentia, Jasnah is not going to care that yours is as well!!

I actually like that through her Brandon is showing that acquiring surgebinding is not a solution to all the problems a person has. I am totally down with it, if he chooses to take shallan even more down the spiral and if it is shown that she is not able to solve her issues!

Wait till Spensa starts flight school, it picks up from there. I get that the starting is a bit dull. I had read prologue and then I picked the book up 2 months later!

I have not read reckoners or rithmatist or legion. I don’t really like shallan... have you started skyward? @Honorless i have read both skyward and starsight and I recommend it. But nothing is as good as his Cosmere stuff but I think skyward has potential
