Men the tower sequence deserve be filmed, this is one of the most sublimes moments all fiction works that I read or wacthed. Every single part of the brigde 4 suffering a strugle was condensed in a act of utmost bravery and awesomeness. All the honor of that men was showed in the moment after Sly said that she was a "honor spren", and every and all of them throwed themselves in a suicide run, to save someone that they didn't have to. Their failure at side carry was aversed when Kaladins shouted "Bridge 4, side carry!" and then they avoided certain death. And when, even exausted and wounded, Kaladin jumped in the middle of the parshendi WOW!! What a wouldn't give to see this scene in a movie or animation =)

I maybe be wrong. But Teft said that which order had different ideals based in the "Way of Kings" that had 40 parables. So 10 order x 4 unique ideals( the fist one are shared among all) = 40 ideals. One ideal for parable. This make sense given the fact that Nohadon wrote the book was a guide book for the KR. What is futher confirmed given the fact that Gavilar was "studying" the book to understand what are the "Most important words that a man can say" AKA the 40 (plus one) Ideals. Man, This forum should have some kind of shirt saying "17th Shard Oficial Member"(with a nice picture of course) or something a long this line . By my experience when you dress like you are part of a a organization this help a lot to bypass security(is almost magical). That is a good question, maybe is like you said, the cryptics are Cognitive beings, so if something is seen as true by many people or by all the people that known about it existence, in the cognitive realm the concept of that thing would reflect the idea that the persons have about this thing, making the idea true. So true is what the people really believe is true, and this is what the cryptics know. (crazy talk =) ) PS: Tks, I just said the first thing that occurred me (I very sleep now, so forgive my musings)

1- To me the book have very strong themes. Do what is right because is right. Help the others, Don't give up, keep fighting, that resonate with the things that I believe. 2- Very nice magic systems. 3- Very compeling history arcs (Kaladin especially) =)

In love. I really liked the Kholin military uniform sketches. If you painted the pants of third in the right blue, that would be exactly like a pictured the Kaladin uniform.

After the fiasco at Gavilar murder, it's possible that the Alethi, after some reseach, are concerned/afraid of surgebinder and showing of strange power is a easy way to ask for trouble, this and tha Ardentia how for sure must have a very bad opinion about the use of "unholy powers" =)
