  1. Lol it is just openwolfing ok In which case ignore the fact that my explanation of me thinking he was evil looks like an Elim trying to get credit, and instead look at it like a Villager finally being right about Meerkat being evil :P.
  2. I for one have not had a strong trust on Meerkat. I don't know what's going on but by not refuting they're basically claiming it's right. Their overfixation on identities this game hasn't ever sat right with me, and specifically them seeming to trust me without actually ever trusting me. That among things I've mentioned throughout to some people. If this is some big phishing attempt or an attempt at killing Meerkat then perhaps I'll eat my words :P. No coinshot kill today?
  3. I don't have enough time to type out all my thoughts and for people to respond to them. I'll post them during the night (lot of good that'll do) but I don't have enough time, and the thought of it is making me mental. Either by tonight I'll trust myself more or I'll be hopefully able to figure out what went wrong. And there goes magenta trying to self pres onto someone who isn't Iguana.
  4. The point is that claiming does NOTHING to stop people voting on you. Claiming a vote manip only encourages more. I'm not going to talk in circles here but that's that.
  5. And suddenly Onyx moves into my village reads. Really guys, it's that easy. Just post. Unless I've made a mistake, these seem to be very interesting vote movements. Beagle, why go from voting on someone to suddenly voting beside them? I simultaneously feel best about the players on Onyx and that Onyx is Village. The other problem is i feel just as confident about the composition of the Iguana wagon. The Octopus wagon, who got suspicion for earlier in the cycle has the most questionable players on it, for me. Asterisks mark those who i have varying levels of trust on. >> Saffron Iguana(4): Pearl Chameleon*, Charcoal Hyena*, Onyx Flamingo*, Salmon Meerkat* > Onyx Flamingo*(3): Mint Heron*, Fuchsia Ostrich*, Coral Swan~ > Scarlet Octopus(3): Chartreuse Penguin*, Saffron Iguana, Oxblood Beagle Magenta Albatross(2): Amber Vulture*, Emerald Falcon****** Pearl Chameleon*(1): Violet Axolotl~ Turquiose Gorilla~ (1): Amethyst Scorpion Amethyst Scorpion (1): Turquoise Gorilla~ Purely by wagon composition I'd be voting iguana here. The other thing that bugs me is why would they claim? As either alignment? The problem is I read it more village because objectively a soother claim does nothing. It's not going to make people less suspicious of you, and it's at the very worst going to earn you even /more/ votes, just for the sake of votes. if you're village you save yourself, and if you're an Elim you save yourself and it's the same thing as the Elims saving you. And an Elim would know this, no? On the other hand, it could be seen as a last attempt to survive through a claim. but...why? When did they see themselves as damned? I don't get how they would have got that through the thread, and if they did, then why did they not have a stronger read on me for being one of them to push them? I might need to reread their post but if they're simply ignoring the pushes on them that's just more reason to vote them.
  6. I suppose we'll start here- First of all, I was a pretty prominent vote on Mauve, if I do say so myself. Not only that but the second person I have been pushing for the majority of Day 1 and today has been you. I'd think you'd have more to say on my other than "coinshot coinshot talkative" regardless of any backreading. Magenta, what was the goal of voting on me? >> Saffron Iguana(4): Pearl Chameleon, Charcoal Hyena, Oxblood Beagle, Onyx Flamingo > Onyx Flamingo(3): Mint Heron, Fuchsia Ostrich, Coral Swan > Magenta Albatross(3): Amber Vulture, Turquoise Gorilla, Emerald Falcon Pearl Chameleon(1): Violet Axolotl Scarlet Octopus(1): Chartreuse Penguin
  7. Funny how sometimes all someone has to do is post the bare minimum to get some at least mild Village reads. All my village reads, tiers are sorted. The bottom tier isn't necessarily less of a village read, but it's a read based on the same thing: reacting to thread pressure. Zebra, despite getting a little pressure did nothing but keep RPing and popping in whenever he wanted- not really seeming to care what thread felt. Gorilla was the same way kind of, perhaps a little more defensive. Just kept RPing and doing his own thing. Penguin Meerkat Coral Heron Fuschia Violet Pearl Hyena Zebra Gorilla
  8. What would you like me to explain about it? I don't know why you think I should explain anything around it, as that would just help anyone figure out who it was. Voting me here is especially strange. I'm conflicted on Iguana mostly because I feel it should be easier to kill him then it's seeming the Village wants. Either way, I support the train on flamingo-as the one to originally bring the point up-enough to feel fine about where I'm sitting.
  9. Heron earns a place in my village reads now. While the Elim Equity is still there between Heron and Octopus, I really like this post. It could definitely be a defence of a teammate, but that's going to be put in the back and not brought out until necessary. I like the flamingo take, mostly because it was something I mentioned before - I think during the night cycle. Subject to change upon octopus being an Elim potentially, and also on flamingo being Village, but they're up there now. As I looked over the votes, I noticed something a little different than I originally thought about Coral's votes. This makes me lean more village on Coral, to be frank. There's nothing inherently village about voting people voting you, but at the same time....there is. Perhaps there's something in not mentioning the fact that it's because they're voting on you- maybe there's something in not realizing it yourself.
  10. I almost think an Elim would be more compliant with working together or even volunteering thoughts, but at the end of the day I can't justify voting off of Iguana at least for the time being. So much of me wants to think he's a villager but I just can't. If anyone would like to try and change my mind, I'm all ears.
  11. Out of curiosity, why do you put me in the Elim pile, where I am among those like Ivory, Zebra, Turquoise, and Azure? I think there's a stark difference there that there must be significant reasoning for me to end up there.
  12. Blue texting that is explicitly against the rules. If I were to do my favourite activity- Setup speculation- I'd think about the relevance that the ties in this game have on setup. Fortunately, I have remembered that setup speculation is not my favourite activity, nor is it near the top. I also have already recieved a PM from someone claiming the coin/shot, and I have a pretty solid village read on them. So, Moving on. Penguin's most recent readlist pushes me further into thinking they're village. Yes, I realize they have me in their Village reads but that's not it. it's the fact that my read is overexplained while the others are not. They range from lengthy explanations to "gut" to a microread of a specific post. I would expect more from an elim in terms of substance in this case. If they're going to explain thoroughly one read, I'd think that they'd want to keep that up in fear of letting out who their teammates are or worries of being pushed over it. I specifically like the point about my Mauve push as well as the microread on Violet. Everything about Coral makes me want to suspect them, the most recent reason being this: My question is what about Meerkat and Hyena makes you not want to kill that differentiates them from Vulture? All three are producing a high quantity of analysis, and that alone is not my reason for townreading them, which I don't quite do, but for wanting to not kill all three of them this turn. So what differentiates them for you? This list is basically saying, in my mind, that anyone besides those top six people are ~fine votes to have and you are going to be fine if people vote there. This is an insanely large list. the reason I gave my coin/shot list is because it's not a group of people voting on who the coinshot kills. it's one person killing, and hopefully being right. With 18 names to vote across that you are supposedly "fine" with seeing people vote on, it feels like you are trying to produce a thread that is uncoordinated. Perhaps I think everyone is more manipulative than they actually are, me being how I am as an Elim. By the end of the day we should end with a pool of no more than 8 I believe, assuming the Elim team is 6. That's still a decent chunk of the playerlist and very wide. Perhaps smaller if you think Amber or Hyena are Elims, because I still don't want to kill them this early regardless.
  13. For supposedly assuming magenta is new, they're doing a lot of interesting things: PMing lots of people apparently, Nesting quotes, providing votecounts. Things surrounding the survival aren't feeling right to me, but I don't see how on an elim team they would choose to protect magenta. if that is the case, then something must be interesting about that team composition. Unless I missed it last night, Magenta, do you have any conclusions from the D1 kill? My reads stay mostly the same: Penguin/Salmon/Coral are my top village reads. Today I'd want to kill probably Iguana>Pearl>[oxblood]. I was hoping the coinshot would help resolve within iguana/pearl, or at least resolve an inactive. Alas. we have yet to hear from Rhino and Toucan still. Of the other people who haven't talked, I feel best about Elephant, and I will feel good about Mint if Pearl turns out to be an Elim.
  14. Someone better fess up to killing lion I'm 1/2 so far, feeling good Edit: don't fess up to killing lion Unless you're an Elim, in which case. Go right ahead.
  15. It felt much less like pushback, and just more... "I'm not interested in this now, let's look at this shiny new rock over there." Which is a big difference in terms of gamestate reads. I'm honored to have a distinctive voice apparently, to pearl.
  16. I'm disliking the "I got to know them in PMs" reads. I've never been one to like secret goings on, it's much to easy for Elims to either manipulate through there or for Elims to protect a buddy like that. It makes people basically not held accountable for their own reads.
  17. Amber already commented on the similarity in my post, but yeah this alongside the lurcher felt like off points. I didn't realize octopus was being suspected for RP? That seems an odd reason for them seeing as they've given content (questionable) albeit in a different font and whatnot. I have my own problems with octopus though, so. I do think that pearl chameleon and iguana need to be resolved one way or another. I'd love to be able for us to find them and be able to move on, but with especially pearl being a big part of D1 I don't see that happening without a miracle
  18. an Anonymouse note was left at my door telling me my colors were not understandable Yellow is just there for pearl, i think their wagon was an important one throughout the day so I just highlighted all the votes that put them above or at three votes. Red is the same, but for the EoD wagon. Blue is just simply the first vote and what was unvoted to vote saffron at EoD, by Pearl.
  19. What do you then think of the people on the train then? Onyx was the one who brought Mauve up to 3, which was something i forgot to mention in my last post- - Onyx's pop in Onyx didn't really speak at all, with three posts last day. The first was a vote on Violet, and then strangely the moment Mint joins the vote on violet they pop back in thread, switch vote, and then leave again. It's pretty awkward timing, imo. and then just to disappear again. the only other post was a small bit of RP i believe after the second vote. And if the croc train was Elim-motivated, it also doesn't neccessarily reflect on the counterwagons as much as the composition of the wagon, so I find it interesting that you bring up the counterwagons and not the members voting on croc. All they have to do is push one of a v/v/v wagon over and suddenly those other two people take up our discussion for the next two days while the Elims lie back and relax.
  20. coolio. Specific things that stand out to me - The seeming fluidity of Penguin's vote. Penguin votes Violet axolotl, a poke seemingly, but has no hesitation in immediately switching to Hyena. This happens almost /directly/ after, with Penguin's first vote at post 42, Hyena's first post at 44, and then Penguin changing his vote at 45. I find his movements onto Pearl and then back onto Hyena those more likely coming from a villager as well. - Swan being a follower. Where penguin is fluid, Swan's votes in general felt very rigid to me, but I don't see anything new from him really at all. he poke votes dingo, but after joining Meerkat on Amber. 46 is where Meerkat votes Amber, and then Swan votes alongside at 49. He does then set himself up to switch votes-mentioning an incoming readslist to collect his thoughts and vote...which comes at post 77, an hour after 74, where Meerkat retracts. I don't even think there's a good way to phrase this, but just look at the votes, and you notice he seems to be following Meerkat's votes, but on a delay. Perhaps what this really means is that they're both village. - Votes on Pearl seem to be... well. everyone who put Pearl up to 3 votes-Mauve, Meerkat, Penguin. Mauve was village, and I have village reads on both Meerkat and peguin, however flimsy they may be. Coral was the one to bump up pearl to 4 votes, but I'm still conflicted on them. if you look through all the Pearl voters, there isn't any of them that I strongly distrust. Coral isn't a solid village read, but I'm not incredibly suspicious of them right now. Side note: Gorilla's reasoning for Swan was strange. Specifically for me the part where he said " I don’t really see why everyone’s jumping on Hyena; none of their posts at all stood out to me", Simply because I don't think you could pass the large colorful readslist. I might be interpreting this wrong, so benefit of the doubt. No reason for including the pearl votes other than that was a main point of D1.
