  1. Sorry... I forgot this wasn't actually in the first post with the rest of the rules! This a quick rule recap: Every turn you hurt one person, and heal one person or you can choose to heal/hurt no one. Hurt takes 2 points off their HP (it was originally 1 but was changed), and Heal adds 1. The Max HP is 10. Heal David, Hurt Raoden David - 7 Mizzy - 10 Elend - 10 God King - 10 Gavilar - 8 Dalinar - 10 Elhokar - 10 Sebarial - 10 Raoden - 6 I moved Raoden to 6, and Gavilar to 8 because the previous posts only subtracted 1 HP for each hurt.
  2. Thanks! I spelt it Sarumon because that's how the post I was replying to spelt it.
  3. This... uh... I don't think that And on the theme of Marvel: I honestly don't understand the obsession with Bucky. I kind of hope that (Infinity War spoilers) While it doesn't fit in with the MCU, The Incredible Hulk is actually a pretty good movie.
  4. Yep. I've got some flute jokes: "Flirty? Maybe a tad bipolar? Will murder in order to become first chair? Flute!" Flute Player: 1% Talent, 2% Determination, 97% Hot Air. And some other jokes: What do you call someone who hangs out with musicians? A drummer. A string quartet is composed of the following: One good violinist, one bad violinist, one really bad violinist who felt more comfortable on viola, one cellist who hates all violinists. And I can't attach the picture for some reason, but I also reccomend googling "Personality determiner in band class" for a very funny/insulting image.
  5. Same. And I while I can understand why he's taking so long, the lack of updates really isn't helping him - it's making lots of fans annoyed. Anyway, I am currently rereading: The Raven Cycle (finished Dream Thieves yesterday and am currently working on the Raven King). Warbreaker I Am Number Four And I think I'm still technically rereading Harry Potter.... I should probably get back to that. No new books, since I have no money and I read my last 5 new books in like 2 days.
  6. I have no idea what command I would use, but I love how half the people here are actually being practical with stuff like "Protect Me", and then the other half are like "Play pingpong with me", or "Be a Stick" ... That basically just describes the entire 17th Shard.
  7. I honestly don't know who the devil and angel would be either. Because they're all nice people (mostly), but could also make good devils. Maybe Lift as the devil in the first one, and Kelsier as the devil in the second? And... which one is the angel? Also, @Nathrangking, that is both terrifying and hilarious.
  8. This sounds awesome and I want someone to write it. You know what, I might go do that. After I research the vessels a lot more.
  9. Here we go: Siri - To start with she felt whiny, but I thought she was really fun by the end. Renarin - He was just sort of there, and then suddenly became my favourite. Jasnah - Thought she was just mean and one sided, but I love her character now. Steris - Do I really need to explain? Adolin - Felt like the dull, Prince Charming type character to begin with, but I really think he's great now. And Hrathen - I honestly can't explain this one well, but he's brilliant. Marsh - Great character development. And this one only sort of works, but Lightsong - I originally thought he was funny, but just a comic relief character (and that he was petulant for no reason), but by the end I really liked him (can't say why because spoilers). Also, I'm going to leave this thread now, because this post just keeps getting longer...
  10. I always saw Kelsier as having brown hair. Despite the fact that her eye colour is an important part of her character, I imagine Shallan with dark blue/green eyes. I also imagined the mists as distinct swirls and patterns, and completely white. And, I'm not sure if this is different than his description, as I can't actually find a description, but I imagine Spook as tan with dark brown hair (fanart leads me to believe he's blond and quite pale). Also, does Elend wear glasses, or am I making that up? The Parshmen/Parshendi aren't quite right too - I imagine the Parshmen as all red and black patterned, and the Parshendi as all red, black, and white. I don't really imagine characters when I'm reading, so these are all based of me trying to see them in my head as I write this post.
  11. @Ishar That sounds like it would be interesting (and I know I forgot Taravangian, but I didn't want to have a really long list). Hurt Sebarial, heal Elhokar. Conflux - 3 David - 10 Mizzy - 10 Elend - 10 God King - 10 Gavilar - 10 Dalinar - 10 Elhokar - 10 Sebarial - 8 Raoden - 10 I also corrected Conflux down to 3, since we're at Hurt -2.
  12. Hey! I saw something like this too. Harry would have definitely made a great DADA teacher.
  13. I love these ideas, especially Draco's, and how Neville & Luna get married! However, I do also like the idea of Dudley having a magic child, learning more about the wizarding world and eventually becoming friends with Harry through their children (who would attend Hogwarts together).
  14. Gotta add some new ones since I've now seen Infinity War:
  15. 1: Infinity War: So cool to see all the different characters, and I like the more big scale movies. Also very fun despite the huge threat. 2: Guardians of the Galaxy: Really fun, with interesting characters and great music. 3: Spider-Man Homecoming: Again, just a really fun movie, and I liked that he still had to deal with school and stuff. 4: Black Panther: Perfect mix of funny and serious, with really investing characters and easily the best MCU villain (in my opinion). 5: Thor Ragnarok: Funny, with an interesting story line and great characters. Plus I love Loki & Thor in general... Honourable Mentions: Captain America: The First Avenger: The relationship with Cap and Bucky in general is great, and so is Peggy Carter. Doctor Strange: Huge Benedict Cumberbatch fan, and I really liked the magic. Ant-Man: Really fun, and love the characters, but they mess with science A LOT. Basically, I love Marvel movies, and Superhero movies in general,
  16. @Gancho Libre - I agree, though I do think that while his (Starlord's) actions made sense from a storytelling viewpoint, they were definitely not awesome. I'm curious about what everyone thinks will happen in Avengers 4 (probably called Avengers: Endgame). The main theory that I've heard is that either Captain America or Iron Man will die - or both - and they will probably sacrifice themselves. But I've also seen stuff about Gamora being alive in the Soul Stone, and that Rocket is going to die. Personally, I think that they'll convince Thanos to reverse what he did, as he already seems to regret killing Gamora. Also, really sad about Loki's death, especially since he has the smallest chance of coming back, and he was trying to be a hero when he died (though, really, there were so many better plans than just stabbing the crazy powerful enemy with a knife). Oh, and Infinity War related spoilers for the post-credits scene of Ant Man and The Wasp: And I hope we see Valkyrie in Avengers 4! Sorry for rambling!
  17. @DCA. Don't take the cookie. And don't give away your breath. A Anyway, welcome to the Shard! Have an upvote.
  18. I think I cried when I first read the Deathly Hallows, but that was years ago so I'm not sure. That's it. I'm really cold hearted when it comes to sad books and movies.
  19. Steal every interesting book I can find, and lots of cookies/cake/sweets, then sit by the beach/in the park (depends on the time of year) reading and eating.
  20. Lady Jane Grey. Don't read comics much. The Flash? (I'm a big fan of him in Justice League, and CW's the Flash). Dogs, Don't know (didn't even know where Sarumon was from!). Pokemon definitely. Blue. And... I have no answer for either of the last two.
  21. These may have already been recommended/ you may have already read them but here's a few: Daughter of Smoke and Bone Series (Starts with Daughter of Smoke and Bone) - Laini Taylor Lunar Chronicles (Starts with Cinder) - Marissa Meyer Grisha Trilogy (Starts with Shadow and Bone) - Leigh Bardugo The Selection Series (Starts with The Selection) - Kiera Cass Lone City Trilogy (Starts with The Jewel) - Amy Ewing And if you're OK with multiple protaganists (one/some of which are female) there's also: Six of Crows Duology (Starts with Six of Crows) - Leigh Bardugo The Raven Cycle (Starts with The Raven Boys) - Maggie Stiefvater
  22. @Nathrangking, this is the third AMA I've looked at (other than my own) and you've asked the same set of questions on all of them... @BitBitio the Mudkip What order of Knights Radiant would you be? If you could be a Mistborn, but only for an hour, what would you do with your power?
  23. @elinox Which cosmere world would you least want to go to? What is one book/movie you really dislike? And I see you're a Hufflepuff, so have some Harry Potter questions. Who is your favourite Harry Potter character? Which is your favourite Harry Potter movie and/or book?
