    Hello all! Just died in the other game, so should have plenty of time to contribute to this one.

    The eyewall hit. The island shook. Nogard was knocked to the ground. He tried to get back on his feet, but every pitch and roll of the island sent him back to the floor. He heard the others cry out in confusion as they too were thrown around. Nogard finally managed to prop himself up on one of the walls. With some surprise, he noticed that he could still feel stormlight from the storm, despite being underground. He had just attempted a step away from the wall when a particularly violent shake sent him tumbling further down the tunnel. He grabbed a stalagmite and hauled himself to his feet again, trying to catch his breath.

    Nekorb jiggled in his seat with nervousness as the plane rose into the air. He looked out the window, watching the landscape pass by.

    Nogard bent down to study the water. Far below the surface he saw the water flowing past the bottom of the island. As he watched, he noticed the edges of the pool begin to pull inwards. He took a step back. The pool began to shrink, slowly at first, but gaining speed. His observations were interrupted by Kodeka's voice in his head. The eyewall is hitting soon. As in, thirty seconds at most. Are you ready? Nogard blinked and sent back an affirmative. Then he raised his voice to the others. "The eyewall is hitting soon. Get ready. It's going to feel like we're on a ship during a storm, so brace yourselves."

    Nogard strode cautiously farther into the cave. It appeared to be a tunnel, although where to, he couldn't guess. He felt a prickle in his mind as Kodeka spoke to him. The eyewall is almost here... Are you somewhere safe?

    Nogard stepped up to the cliff and ran his hand along the vines. He could feel something here. Suddenly one of the vines moved beneath his fingertips, revealing a cave. Pushing aside the rest of the vines, Nogard stepped into the cavern.

    Nekorb looked over his shoulder to make sure everyone had gotten in safely. They seemed fine, although Alask seemed worn out. He turned back around. "Did everything go alright with the poisoning?"

    Nekorb waved to the people on the ground as Zack took the plane in for a landing.

    Nogard felt the Investiture flow through him, sustaining him. He'd gotten used to it by now, although it was nice not having to eat so often. Up ahead the trees opened up, revealing a sheer cliff face covered with vines. Nogard slowed to a stop, letting the others catch up.

    An important thing to remember is that the guild spying is tied mainly to the person's account, which means that it is tied to the Avatars, whatever that implies.

    Nogard nodded. "Yes. In fact-" He cut off as the wall of rain hit the island, so powerful that the group could feel it even under the trees. Suddenly, all the spheres on Nogard's jacket burst alight. He kept running, however. The eyewall was getting closer, and it would be a lot worse than the rain barrier.

    I think that if we plan plot twists in PM's, that allows for surprises while also preventing people stepping on each others' toes.

    Nogard turned to the woman. "It's a combination of the Alleystorm and a hurricane. This one," he gestured upwards, "is probably nonsapient, which is good- those aren't as powerful. In a few minutes, the rain will reach us." He gestured towards the horizon, where a sheet of rain could be seen approaching. "It's wet, and the winds are going to be even stronger, but that's not what we have to worry about." He started jogging deeper into the jungle. "What we have to worry about is the eyewall." @Ookla the Clueless
