  1. This WoB specifies three Bondsmith spren. Well, the Stormfather must have predated the death of Honor - how else could he have merged with Tanavast's Cognitive Shadow?
  2. The Oathpact binds the Fused, not Odium.
  3. The blue team's clue is: City 2 @Herowannabe @Cadmium Compounder @recneps Link to gameboard
  4. I think that the only sapient spren on Roshar are the Radient spren. I think that the Radiant spren are the only Rosharan spren that will be bonded. However, it's not just Rosharan spren that can be bonded. Cognitive Shadows are also able to be bonded. See this S&A thread (Secret History Spoilers):
  5. They can. I just asked Chaos this question last week. Yes.
  6. Patji, Susebron's Mother, and Wyndle are all blue agents! @Jondesu The red team is up.
  7. I marked off Lin Davar. The blue team's next clue is: Nature 2 @Herowannabe @Cadmium Compounder @recneps Link to gameboard
  8. Both are powered by Stormlight: either from the Radiant (Elsecalling) or gemstones (Oathgates).
  9. Mercystar is a blue agent, but Austrism is a red agent. The blue team's turn is over. @Jondesu you're up.
  10. The blue team's first clue is: Returned 3 @Herowannabe @Cadmium Compounder @recneps Link to gameboard
  11. Hey everyone - we're almost ready to begin. I'll send out the Blue Team's first clue later today. A quick recap of the rules (more detailed info found in the first post in this thread): Each team will have 48 hours to make guesses (which are bolded) You can group multiple guesses together - they will be evaluated in the order they're listed Your team can end its turn early once half of the members post "pass turn" or something similar in bold We're playing with the Eightball variant this round. Explanation below.
  12. Szeth's screams are not Roshar-specific. I do like the pairing of Kaladin with Dai-Gonarthis.
  13. OB spoilers (even properly marked) CANNOT be posted in the general Stormlight board. They must be placed in the special Oathbringer Spoiler Board (or the Cosmere Discussion/Cosmere Q&A).
  14. I don't agree with the one ring analogy. Look at preservation. He didn't want more power, but the second part appears accurate. I think what Wander meant was that over time they are influenced more and more by their Shard's Intent. So holding Odium/Ruin would make you more "evil" over time, but holding other Shards would change you in different ways. Ruin and Harmony are basically perfectly opposed and balance each other out, so their Intents wouldn't change Sazed very much. In addition, it takes time for the Intents to change the Vessel.
  15. Are rocks/crystals and metals really opposites? In any event, I always thought that Amberite and Verdant were paired (as the external powers), as well as Bestarin and Ferrous.
  16. Maybe I'm dense, but what is the pattern?
  17. This is something that the Coppermind (basically the Cosmere Wikipedia) is great at answering: https://coppermind.net/wiki/Investiture
  18. Are [OB] spoilers allowed in properly marked Cosmere Q&A threads?
  19. Yes. The Surge of Gravitation on Roshar would allow you to hover an object like this. At least until it ran out of Stormlight. Also, this probably belongs in the Cosmere Q&A section, not the Arcanum section.
  20. Welcome to the Shard, @eleventh of the moon! You can edit your previous post by hitting the "Edit" button at the bottom. This will not only allow you to fix your typos, but also avoid double posting (which is not allowed on this site). Be sure to check out this post:
  21. Thanks. I had read that WOB, but must have skipped past the customs part. Here's the WOB, if anyone else is interested: https://wob.coppermind.net/events/332-jordancon-2018/#e9501
  22. Denth and Jezrien are both Red Agents. There are 6 Red Agents remaining.
  23. FYI, if you want to discuss Oathbringer spoilers, you have to preface your topic with [OB] and place it in the Oathbringer Spoiler Board.
