  1. I don't know. Seeing what happened maybe, being seen as claiming something and then backing off. It's worth it to ask for a real claim from @The Unknown Novel. We can test by having Danex and Araris read the PMs of people that aren't either of them. It's not helpful since apparently Sons of Feanor can have other roles, but I have just that one role.
  2. TUN claiming Finwe doesn't read as a joke. Kas had already made it pretty clear he was claiming Finwe so I'm not sure what TUN was doing. Dannex likely isn't converted because he could have died, Symph easily could have been and there's no real way for us to tell without killing Melkor. I dislike that Dannex chose Mat and Araris since that doesn't seem like a high percentage shot but the chances of Melkor converting a messenger are low enough that I'll give him another chance. Noble doesn't seem too powerful for Melkor to have although it would let him win 2-1 with no other manipulation.
  3. So we have claims that both Shining and Conq are nobles? Nothing could have added the extra vote but an Orator and I don't see a non-Archer player doing that to mess up his proof. With Symph's Feanor claim that I can't imagine Melkor doing because it's so easily proven that leaves 1. The Unknown Novel 2. Araris Valerian 3. Matrim's Dice 5. JNV 8. da[n=??]ex 12. Kasimir
  4. Archer VC should be this, based on Conq's Da[n=?]ex 2 - Archer, Bookworm, Conq 1 - Kas JNV 2 - Conq, Shining TUN 1 - Araris Araris 1 - Mat Wizard 1 - Da[n=?]ex I do find it funny that Archer's claiming he'll manipulate the no vote of someone who very much is voting, but sure.
  5. To be clear, you're claiming Orator and that you're moving a vote to someone you're not particularly suspicious of?
  6. Once you do get a convert, you'll be able to fakeclaim a role much more easily. Feanor can keep the kill for himself but that delays his roleclaim and makes him a conversion target. It's good for there to be 1-2 people who don't vote so Orators can prove their role if they wish. I think Archer is Melkor. I'll even say the name this time. Subtle complaining about losing exe immunity + discussing conversion times and targets + Finwe hunting.
  7. Village roles may not be powerful, but many are provable. Feanor, Galadriel, Smith, Sailor, Orator, Messenger can all prove they started as villagers to at least one person. Nobles sort of but their ability can be replicated by jewels and tracking where the jewel ended up might not work since the dead player could have had one. Conversion goes before the exe so the only way he doesn't get a convert is if he misses the fact that he's about to die (vote manipulation/not being around for rollover) or if he hits Finwe/Fingolfin target the cycle he dies. Trying to force a conversion by putting him at risk late into the cycle is worth pursuing.
  8. It's an advanced juggling technique. Takes centuries to master. And he disagreed by imprisoning him in the first place. We couldn't hold him forever, and the longer his forced solitude, the more likely he was to turn on us once free. Releasing him now gives us and him the best chance we'll ever get.
  9. No items block the exe, just jewels and better jewelsTM can avoid it hitting you a little. Only kill is Feanor who can make a fancy sword, kill someone, pass it down to his children, they kill someone, pass it, etc. Fun for the whole family! Shame about the posthumous requirement. I can use shields faster than the smiths can make them definitely and for sure. We'd have had better luck with this if we hadn't sealed him away for so long. I'd have to work extra hard to show any compassion to people who did that to me. Manwe's just a guy, as fallible as the rest of us. He should like it if we disagree with his rulings. Illuvatar could have just made 17 Manwe's if he wanted a bunch of powerful beings to all make the same decisions.
  10. No immunity for Mr. Milky so he can just lose immediately if he gets exed trying to convert Finwe. Well good luck with that. Who knows how much fun proving roles is but @ all smiths please give me shields. I should have those. I promise to grieve over your corpses in return.
  11. I can sign up for this. I'll take Nienna, who knows that solitary imprisonment is cruel and fosters resentment instead of a desire to atone.
  12. Unless Sart was lying about you being his Warder, I don't see the point of playing this out. I can use Seal/Ward on you and kill you with 100% success, and I'd win the vote tomorrow anyway. This should qualify as being impossible for the White Tower to win.
  13. Now that Araris is shielded, I can use double compulsion again to shift both your votes to Araris and kill him 65% of the time. If I win that, I will seal and kill Luck tonight. @The Unknown Novel, I would like to request another shortened turn.
  14. I used Seal/Ward on him to prevent nonlethal (physical) actions from affecting him. Seal couldn't save Vorros from Trace but could kill the person who did it.
  15. We didn't want to kill someone who voted for Conq D1. Then we picked Wizard because Sart said the people who didn't vote were less likely to be Forsaken. Edit: I'm fine with a shorter turn.
  16. Huh. I wasn't expecting that to work. The goal was for Luck to die too but since she didn't you still have a 48% chance of winning, higher if Araris was under-reporting his stats. Since it's purely random at this point I don't particularly care what the end result is. The Dragon Reborn won the battle of words so I've given him another chance to test his mastery of saidin against mine. I am the Forsaken Aran'gar, and I'll happily tell you anything you want to know. The wheel weaves as we will, and someday soon we shall eliminate it altogether.
  17. Araris and Sart is the only team that makes sense to me but if you don't believe the elim team would be distributed that way then there's nothing I can say to that.
  18. Because only Sart and Luck and you I suppose knew that Sart and Luck could be removed from consideration, and without that there were too many potential Forsaken to try narrowing it down as a voting strategy.
  19. It very much looks like you're saying "Well, if Sart and Araris are evil we've already lost so there's no point voting for either of them," when this is not true. Linking compulsion say has a 60% chance of success, two players using compulsion separately has a 16% chance of two successes plus a 48% chance of one success, which is more effective than linking. To narrow down the Forsaken candidates.
  20. If he hadn't claimed, Luck would have. Once she says that she's Sart's Warder, we'd have gotten the Forsaken narrowed down to you, me, and Xino anyway. Sart saying it first doesn't put you in more danger, it just makes him look better. So you're just accepting defeat at this point. We can still beat Forsaken Araris + Channeler Sart since linking doesn't make weaves any more likely than two people doing them separately, but assuming that if they're evil it's not worth trying is definitely going to make us lose.
  21. What Sart and Araris interactions look unpaired? Sart's throwaway vote for Araris D3 when it was clear Conq was going to be exed? Him announcing that he and Luck were an Aes Sedai and Warder pair before she could do so? Sart backing up Araris's claims of being weaveblocked D3 and sending him a PM N3? Claiming to have action scanned Araris N2 and not seen him take any physical actions? Araris saying that Sart pushing a non-conq vote D3 makes him more likely village? Saying that one of Sart and Xino is likely an elim, but probably Xino (only reasonable one on this list)? Sart can say that one of Araris or I is the Forsaken and that it's more likely Araris all he wants, but all that matters is this vote and Sart's made his choice clear.
  22. What other choice did he have? There was no way he could have sold people on Mat or Luck as the Forsaken so he had to choose between me and Xino as a scapegoat and decided I would be easier because Xino action scanned Conq N2 and it didn't make sense for an elim to do that. At 3-2, even if we all vote against you, it's still a tie if you get Compulsion off, and you guarantee at least a tie by convincing either Mat or Luck. The number of required votes goes down to 1 if there are 4 or fewer players left, so 2-1 is a possible but not guaranteed loss.
  23. It can't be solo Araris unless Xino Shielded Sart because he would have had to send a PM to Sart, Shield him, and kill Xino, which isn't possible for one person to do. The most likely explanation is that Araris and Sart are teammates, but being able to use weaves while weaveblocked would make other combinations possible.
