Mid-Range Game 60: Overexposure
Devotary of Spontaneity replied to Archer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Depends on how in danger they are/how much the individual players are willing to risk. JNV just came from a game where they strictly opposed one of their teammates (Stick(, so it's far from a guarantee. Wiz but more Mat and Conq's votes are interesting because they aren't on the person they thought was elim with the most votes(any votee not JNV/JNV/Mat or JNV), which makes me think it's less likely those three are motivated by making sure a teammate is safe. Allied more 'having the same opinions' than 'on the same team'. -

I don't see e!Danex actually wanting Mat dead, since he gets exed early fairly frequently. An easy place to put a vote without having to explain reasoning possibly, but I don't remember e!Danex games. Conq hits Mat hits Wizard hits Shining hits JNV hits Danex hits Mat. Surely there's something here. JNV defends Mat while Mat attacks the person who defended JNV. Lean Mat/JNV not e/e. Less strong on Mat/Conq not e/e. Mat and Shining are allied, JNV and Wizard are allied. Since I'm not thinking e!Danex, the latter pair is more likely to have at least one elim, especially since Shining voting JNV is inefficient if the goal was to protect e!Danex. JNV voting Danex doesn't not make sense even if it's early but is more strategic if they're on a team with Mat or Tani, more likely Tani. Makes more sense to vote JNV than Wizard at least. -

Mid-Range Game 60: Overexposure
Devotary of Spontaneity replied to Archer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
An elim who's sent 50 PMs can still kill because it's a secondary action, so I don't think it will help clearing. Getting your vote cancelled for the rest of the game is worse for elims, but is still costly for a villager and not necessarily provable. -
Mid-Range Game 60: Overexposure
Devotary of Spontaneity replied to Archer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
The ability to send 25 PM messages per cycle will be useful, and winning tied votes is especially relevant since the elims don't win at parity. Definitely worth putting in a secondary action every cycle for. Why does a fast food chain co-own a police training facility? Even if they just supplied the monetary investment, what was Fried & Dyed hoping to gain? Earring knew she had to investigate carefully. Anyone who drew the police's attention could be 'discovered' to have committed just about any crime. Judge Kav Itee never should have ruled Snapshot evidence as admissible. Ever since that case, Snapshot cops had been free to violate any civil right or liberty to produce completely unverifiable evidence to ruin the lives of New Clipperton's people. Luckily, whatever Epic or technology powered the Snapshot couldn't be replicated (or was prohibitively expensive, judging from the sharp increase in police revenue even accounting for the spike in arrests) but this was little comfort for New Clipperton. As an investigative journalist, Earring has the duty to discover and report as many details as possible to help the city's inhabitants take action to protect themselves. -

I'll sign up as investigative journalist Earring, hoping to quell the wave of spurious arrests that the simulator encourages. -

Quick Fix Game 62: He Who Arises In Might

Since the elims have to outnumber and Kas and TUN are still alive, I suppose that means the village wins. Can we have spec/dead doc access?- 353 replies

Quick Fix Game 62: He Who Arises In Might

We can handle E!Symph. I toss a gemstone at her, both kills get redirected to me, you and TUN win next cycle. If I'm shielded I even have a chance to live. E!TUN isn't a threat unless v!Symph kills me, although I suppose anything could happen if you die and the silmarils are released. Shining is both the most likely elim and the current biggest threat in terms of vote-power.- 353 replies

Do we know what item Mat started with, if any? E!Symph definitely has a kill + Fell Sword kill so we'll need shields to stop that, but I do think e!Shining is more likely.- 353 replies

Quick Fix Game 62: He Who Arises In Might

So 2* chances (modified by odds of blocking kills, last elim being able to kill people/manipulate votes), 3* options. Odd that nobody's killing Kas but no way real Finwe wouldn't have claimed by now and unless everyone else PM'd Kas him guessing it wasn't present is risky. TUN maybe not since Mat seemed willing to kill him. Would have expected more kills from elim Symph. Has claimed C1 Fell Sword self, C2 shield Danex, C3 Fell Sword to Mat while kill TUN. So Shining maybe? Definitely defended Mat. But did so when it was hopeless so not sure. Let's start Shining see what happens.- 353 replies

It does hurt to die for mech but that's just how it is sometimes. + killing Araris for an easily falsifiable reason + defending TUN because you know you'll be next. Someone should confirm getting a shield though. I don't think Danex or Archer had one but I'm not sure.- 353 replies

Dannex (2) - Archer, Symph Mat (1) - Devo TUN (1) - Dannex Devo (2) - Shining, Mat Archer (1) - Kas I guess Danex is threatened. Not sure why. I think he's a very unlikely convert with risk of death and has proven his messenger ability so is unlikely Melkor. The convo he spied on was Conq (village) and Kas (claimed village safe role, no counterclaims) so messenger is well proven. Still think Mat over TUN but could switch if Mat gets Fell killed.- 353 replies

Quick Fix Game 62: He Who Arises In Might
Devotary of Spontaneity replied to Fifth Scholar's topic in Sanderson Elimination
It is physically difficult for me to just say things, especially in post format. Let's start with saying that I put she/her in my title because I expect people to use those pronouns exclusively. Can't figure out the grammar here but you know what I mean. Effort clear for Mat is for his Araris progression? @Kasimir No coherent indication of why Araris being able to prove his role wasn't satisfactory given his theory of Melkor Araris. Archer's fairly confirmed as Orator, so isn't a high Melkor priority. I do think overlap of Melkor + kill is the way to go. Haven't given up on Shining + JNV though. Mat's reading to me like he knows TUN is village, but then has to throw in that he could be elim because Mat knows that TUN's on the same shortlist as him and clearing TUN makes it more likely people will vote Mat. Definitely some conf bias here.- 353 replies

Only dual roles seem to be Sons of Feanor -> Shining's a noble and not Melkor unless he's jeweled Melkor who converted JNV C1. People seem so convinced TUN's not doing evil things. So sure. Mat's on the killer list and the Melkor list because he hasn't roleclaimed.- 353 replies
