  1. Hmmmm guess rushing to Hyrule Castle right after finishing the beast on the desert is not an option. That's kinda sad but at least I'll try to get as many things done as I can before going there. Thanks for that, you just saved me from getting really frustrated for not being able to find those XD.
  2. Oh, the koroks are a special case, I don't plan on getting even a quarter of those, or even looking for them. I'll just find the ones I stumble naturally upon. The shrines are much more reasonable, I've done 80 so far. As for side-quests, there are 70-something to my understanding. I don't know if I'll be able to find them all on a first run without a guide but I will at least try.
  3. Thanks, but I think I will wait. I'm saving all the remaining story events for when I finish with the shrines and other side-stuff.
  4. And just as I ask about the hideout I think I found the place. Of course as you guys said it doesn't seem I can actually enter, or at least I don't know how. Welp, I'll wait for it to appear in the plot.
  5. This was so extremely true.
  6. Watched the extended versions of The Lord of the Rings for the first time. It was quite the experience, and an amazing one. Next objective, watch them on the same day. That will have to be carefully planned though, and I won't do it for at least a year.
  7. Nice. Thanks, I'll keep talking to people then.
  8. Speaking of BotW, I have a question. I hear a lot about the Yiga clan but haven't come across the hideout so, I just want to know if I'll find a quest naturally as I play or if it's a matter of stumbling around the right area until you find the hideout by accident. Please don't tell me the location, I just want to know if there will be a quest or something.
  9. Sounds fun. I have no idea why I haven't tried it. Shooting at things with a wiimote is the perfect pass time.
  10. It just hit me that BotW Zelda and Navani would get along instantly.
  11. I mean, judging by the popularity of RP on stream, I would say people are interested. Now about turning one into a book, ummm, yeah it's dangerous.
  12. Ooh, I'm watching that one. So far (first 3 episodes) I love it. The animation looks amazing for a show without previous seasons backing it.
  13. Technically unrelated but this is funny. So I said that using my ps2 controller was weird. Eventually I saw X360ce being suggested. Well, thanks to the diagram that comes with the app, I discovered that Windows detects the right stick's 'up' to the left, and from there if you rotate clockwise, it detects it counter-clockwise. Not only that but every single button was in the wrong place. This is what I get for being cheap and not buying like an actual ps3 controller, but it works now at least.
  14. "Heck yeah! Just like in a movie." WTWTTSW you just ignored the deaths of hundreds of innocents under your nose?
  15. You guys are making me realize I'm not as dedicated to this fandom as I would like to be.
  16. Bought an adapter to plug in my ps2 controller to my laptop. It works great so I was ready to play Cold Steel with it so I could use the TV instead of my laptop's screen. Well, for whatever reason everything works perfect save for the right stick. Moving it horizontally moves the camera vertically and vice versa. I'll be crying on that corner trying to fix this.
  17. Granted. You get a brown paper bag and not only can you speak through it while it's open, you also can eat from it, though bear in mind that as long as it's open, you can only speak/eat through the bag. Additionally, you get a full set of magic bags with similar functions. A bag of hearing, a bag of smelling, a bag of seeing, and weirdly, a bag of touching. The same rules apply to them as the bag of speaking, though the small problem is that they seem to be resistant to any form of marking, so labeling them becomes impossible, and each morning they reappear in a random place of your house each. This does mean it's impossible for you to lose them so there's that. I wish for a broomstick that can travel through time and space.
  18. Honestly, no idea. I literally discovered it only like two months ago. TPBM has counted from 1 to 1000+ aloud for fun, just to see how far they could get.
  19. Welp. Now I have the first candidate for the 2021 list. I kind of do that sometimes. I hate not including a something I love because it doesn't fit the category. When it comes to video game battles for example I would be able to choose a favorite normal battle theme, a favorite boss battle time, a favorite final boss theme, a favorite field boss theme, a favorite lesser final boss theme. I can keep creating categories like that and it may sound silly but sometimes it's just more fun to include more. Now I have. Should have paid more attention to them, can't believe I didn't notice the video being uploaded, with the bell and all. This December I think I was too focused on Unlucky Morpheus. I've been following them for a while, but a few weeks ago I discovered the album they released this 2020 and that affected my listening habits (and the list) for the past month. Personally I'm extremely happy they did Catch the Moment recently. Literally like half the reason I subscribed when the channel started was in the hopes that some day they did that song. I was starting to lose that hope since the song is almost 4 years old and they seemed to focus on newer songs but it finally happened.
  20. I finally got around to watch Chihayafuru Third Season. I'm constantly amazed by how good the character development is in this show. I mean sure, it was like that since the first season, but by this one the cast is enormous and it keeps growing, and it still manages to give each and every one the time they need to grow. During a game it's common to see the point of view of like five characters and in the span of two minutes all of them all of them get good development triggered by the same small thing that just happened. It doesn't feel rushed, or cramped. It's so natural I can't believe the author manages to keep it up for so long. Because that is not a rare occurrence. That's what you see in most of the games during the story. Also, I don't know much about sports stories, but I'm really impressed by the amount of different motivations we get. At first I thought it would be as simple as a cremload of episodes with dozens of characters simply competing to be the best, but only a handful of characters are actually trying to achieve that, and even among those, the reasons are vastly different. Beyond that, the rest of the characters have objectives as varied as you can imagine. People playing for fun, for their family, to escape their lives, to fulfill an old teenage dream, for other obscure reasons we are still discovering, you name it. There is this one girl whose entire character at first was literally "I will only play to get close to my crush", and with only that she gets enough growth to be one of the most interesting characters later on. The story doesn't leave anyone behind. The ending to this season was somewhat bittersweet. The series seems to be reaching its climax. Probably one or two seasons more to go which I am now seriously excited about. Though, the second season came out in 2013, so that's seven years between that one and the third. So that has me a little worried, but I am sure the wait will be worth it, even if it's a long one.
  21. From this list, choosing between Interstellar and Jojo Rabbit is incredibly difficult. Brb, I'm going to rewatch both.
  22. Hey, I did say to participate as much or as little as you like. Saying "Post 30 songs or get out" would be beyond unreasonable. I saw it, I was kinda worried this would look like I was ripping off your post, but heck, I wanted to share it. I like your categories, now I wonder what my most listened song was. I had a music player once that actually counted the times you listened to a song. I started getting worried when I tried it for the first time and Hana no Uta by Aimer was already over 100. Also, Band-Maid is amazing. One of the best mistakes I've made was clicking on a video of theirs expecting to laugh. I feel bad now but at the time I was unable to take them seriously because of the attire, then they shut my mouth within two seconds of the song. Later I found that they dress like that because they want you to react that way. Well, it works. I'm a fan now. Not annoying, now I'm really curious about them. The Sound of Silence particularly is a song I've known about since forever but never actually was interested in listening to it, but your explanation got me thinking about it. I'm kinda jealous. It's not difficult for me to fill a list with songs, but artists? I'm lucky if by the end of a year I can call myself a fan of two or three more bands than the year before. Looks like you had a good year to discover new stuff. It's really good. Have you seen her singing it on the The First Take channel? If not I really recommend it, it always strikes different to see an artist actually end up crying while singing. On that note, I should really continue watching KnY.
  23. First of all, Happy New Year! Now, a friend an I have been doing this thing for the past few years where by the end we choose our favorite songs of that year. We do this by making two lists. One is a top 10 songs we listened to during the year but that came out before, and the other one is a top 10 songs that we listened to and came out that same year. It just feels more fair that way (and it's a good excuse to choose 20 songs instead of 10), and we accompany them with a few honorary mentions because 20 songs is still not enough. So yeah, this year I was choosing my songs and thought "Hey, this would be a nice activity to share on the Shard" (great, I just sounded like an elementary school teacher). Also, I was noticing that a big flaw in our system was that we do not include non-vocal songs, so soundtracks feel really excluded, so I'll include some of those too. And that's the idea, feel free to participate as much or as little as you like, or take people's favorites as recommendations. I've just found that actually sitting down to consider which has been your favorite song of an entire 365-day period makes you appreciate them a little more. With all of that said, here's my personal list: Songs I discovered this year: Songs that came out this year: And a few soundtracks I listened to this year in no particular order: So that's it. I hope you guys like the idea and share your list. It's a nice way to finish/start the year.
  24. Granted, now you afford them! You don't care where the money came from, right? If the police comes asking about a bank in Switzerland just pretend you don't know me and good luck. I wish for all the muffins.
