Several dozens of Doctor Who episodes yes. TPBM knows enough song lyrics to fill a Sanderson book.
-
Yes I have, when I first created my account. I don't think there were any lasting effects though, sometimes I hear a voice saying weird stuff but that's life, right? TPBM has offered suspicious cookies to new people in the past (and hopefully not recently).

I mean, they have to fully develop psychology first. TPBM enjoys trying to find shapes on the ceiling as if it were a bunch of clouds.

What are you playing right now?
Eluvianii replied to Link Von Kelsier Harvey's topic in Entertainment Discussion
Been playing a bit of Stardew Valley. It's addictive, the good kind of addictive. This game embodies the phrase "I'll do one more thing, then I'll stop". -
I'm afraid not. TPBM has disappeared under mysterious circumstances.
-
Ummm does native Spanish, a terrible English, and a few conversational phrases in Japanese count? TPBM has sworn "never to eat this much [insert unhealthy food] ever again" because of a stomachache at least once and failed at the next opportunity.
-
Rewatching Her Blue Sky. It's really good. It has one of my favorite scenes from any movie.
-
Nah, I'm indifferent. I have heard though that if there's a WoT trailer anytime soon it will be there so I look forward to that if it happens. TPBM will watch movies tonight.
-
Apparently a ship between a character named Sophie and a character named Fitz from a series called Keeper of the Lost Cities? No. Now I want to try that. TPBM has slept during an exam.
-
S-sure I do. *proceeds to google it* TPBM should speak a little bit louder.

Trails of Cold Steel (and the Kiseki series in general)
Eluvianii replied to Zurvanight's topic in Entertainment Discussion
Huh, I didn't know about the name's meaning. That's really cool, it might be fun to use. Thinking about it, at the time the game came out there definitely wasn't a patch for Ao yet, so either the developers knew Japanese and happened to be big enough fans to play the Japanese copy, or it is a coincidence so you're likely right. I just got suspicious because 'gross' sounds kinda like 'crois' and thought maybe it was a way to introduce it as a joke. -
Trails of Cold Steel (and the Kiseki series in general)

Just saw a "Dieter Gross" as a political candidate in a different game series. Could this be a Falcom reference? Or was Crois a reference to begin with? It'll be awesome if it's the former. -
What are you playing right now?

A few days ago I finished The Longest Journey, and tonight I finished its sequel, Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. This has been an amazing experience, I'm completely in love with this world, and I can count with my hand's fingers the times I've seen a cliffhanger this size. I'm excited, slightly frustrated, Dreamfall Chapters, the last game in the trilogy, is installed and ready to be played, and I'm craving for answers. So I'll be right back, gotta see where this all ends. -
So this is the original version? How many songs will I discover through covers? This cover in particular is really good though, I recommend it.

This can be interpreted as a Sanderson meme but was actually created as a general meme it seems, so let's say it's both and put it here. Found in a fb anime page. (Not safe for vorin content warning, you tell me if it's too daring)

I can hear Link's scream as he falls just by reading this. -

Hmmmm nothing happened. Did you make sure to choose a good memory as you were typing that? -
Nightwatcher Boon/Bane (Game)

That's pretty much the ideal life. Granted. You get all the chocolate you want for the rest of your life. Want some hot chocolate? Done, it appears in front of you with your favorite mug. A bar of dark chocolate or milk chocolate? No problem, a generously sized bar of the brand of your preference materializes itself in front of you. These things will happen whenever you so much as think about chocolate. However, you also crave for chocolate more than usual, for the rest of your life. You wish to eat it pretty much at all times, and while it doesn't affect your eating habits, and you can stop eating it whenever you want, that doesn't stop it from appearing out of nowhere whenever you think about it. It falls on your keyboard when you use your computer, on your work table whenever you need to do anything, on your hot soup when you try to eat normally, on your hand when you're in a place where food is not allowed. Have fun trying to live normally, I'm sure you'll figure it out. I wish for a mansion full of secret passages. -

Granted. Someone takes your donut and makes it their life goal to return it to you. This takes them on a long journey through space and time, and more dimensions that you can count and dangers bigger than I can describe. Finally, they find the right rift through the space-time continuum that takes them to your exact timeline just as you are making your wish. So have your donut back. It may be old, wrinkled, mouldy, covered in several strange alien substances, and most definitely not edible, but hey, those are just details. I wish for a fantasy pet and the ability and resources to take care of it. -
No, I'm still too young to have kids. TPBM prefers the lizard over the monkey.

Who LOVES The Legend of Zelda!

Not to ruin any surprises but the bosses in TP are extremely visual, the battles fun, but none of them are difficult in the slightest. Except maybe part of the final one. I love the battles because they look amazing and the use of the mechanics is extremely fun but, don't expect any difficulty spikes at any point. In general the difficulty of this game is pretty much a straight horizontal line. -
I stopped being a catholic a while ago but I'm not sure what to call myself (have researched both about agnosticism and deism for a bit but I'm still not sure if one fits). In summary, I believe there is something that created the rules for the universe, fast-forward a few million years and here we are. But I don't think it's possible for a human to know what it is or what it wants. Let alone any religion. I do keep some catholic customs because it would be rude to do nothing while my family prays during Christmas dinner for example.

On the contrary, I consider them a passion. TPBM prefers night over day.

Finished Cardcaptor Sakura. This may be a case where I prefer the adaptation to the original material in some ways, mainly because the adaptation has a lot more content and more characters that while it can be considered filler, it was fun to watch. That said, the original material is definitely a much tighter story, due to not having to make up explanations for all the things they added in the anime, and because of a couple big plot points they skipped. So yeah, really fun read. Interesting magic, more complex than I expected in a kid's manga, lots of problematic romances though I think they were well handled. Definitely excited to continue on to Tsubasa Chronicle.
