Interesting. Among those four, the only one I haven't started is One Piece. I've been meaning to watch it since forever but I wanted to have a space I could dedicate exclusively to that, and I've come to discover that it's not as easy as it sounds. Maybe I should read the manga instead. That should be at least twice as fast and I could read at every little free moment even if it's just a few pages.

Also, you're so focused on it that trying to publish your work never crosses your mind, and you spend the rest of your life filling your hard drive with these ideas no one will ever see. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree there. I don't think I've ever played a more consistently action-packed game than Ao considering its duration. It starts somewhat strong and from chapter 2 onwards the pace really picks up and it never stops. 70 hours of that is a real achievement. And idk, I get that same sense of community with npcs in every game, it has never really changed that much, always one of the strongest points of these games. Also, some of my favorite npc stories are in Crossbell so that helps.

Yeah, the series is known for the first game in every arc being pretty slow, but never so much as the very first one. Every game in the series has an avalanche near the end though so there's always a good payoff. And yeah, I've noticed. The Sky trilogy goes up to 50% off or so during sales, but the Cold Steel games I think not so much.

It is interesting, though I don't know that it's supposed to keep you focused. It is supposed to be designed so that you can listen to the same track for a long time without tiring you. Which can also help I think. The music can be great but it doesn't get in the way of your thoughts.

Been thinking about setting up a schedule to watch the Vox Machina campaign so that some day in a year or two I'm able to catch up and I was like "Yeah, two 3-hour episodes a week sounds doable". Then I realized most of the episodes ahead of me are in the 4.5+ hours mark. I'm scared.

For me it's the season to post memes about being single so this is perfect. Sometimes watch a movie on the theme or something. But memes have priority. First one I've found this year. I'll be looking for more.
