Just finished Wolfwalkers. This is hands down the most impressive 2d animated movie I've ever seen. "A painting in motion" is a concept I've seen a lot in movies and games, and it usually gives great results, but this one. This doesn't imitate a painting, this entire movie is a freaking painting. Simply beautiful.

I do drink alcohol. Not often at all since the most common thing around here by an extreme margin is beer and that one I do not like but I do drink. On the flip side, cooking using alcohol sounds intriguing but it's kind of a foreign concept to me. The closest I've seen firsthand is that we use alcohol to make empanadas. TPBM wants to try food from all over the world.

That sounds like the most customizable system so far to be honest. Probably the most fun too. Also, the idea that having two combat systems is not due to different player preferences, but that you're meant to strategically change between both makes it all feel a lot more interesting.

I think they meant shorthand writing? As in what they did is a method to be able to take notes in a hurry, and later copy them properly (though the ones I know only work on paper). Now, if you simply stop using vowels in everyday life just because then it becomes a problem. TPBM is an adult who still has toys from their childhood.

I just finished Dragon Quest VII. What a game, this is easily the best DQ game I've played so far. Actually one of the best games I've played period. Almost 97 hours so it's also the longest DQ game I've played, where VIII has the second place with only 50-something, darn (though I did rush VIII quite a bit, so who knows how a second run will go). I also tried to do the post-game since I read there was some extra story to it but, I don't know. I started, I had a pretty nice revelation, and then a boss, but the boss is really tough and from what I can find, I would need to grind a few levels to beat it. And then there are more. And from what I can gather, I already saw what story there was to it and the rest is bosses and bragging rights... I might just leave it like that for now. I loved the game and am happy with my experience and I would like to continue going through the series. I still have about half of the games left and I'm really excited for XI. In the future when I can play this game just for the fun of minmaxing I might try the post-game dungeons in full. For now, yeah, love this game.

I'm never ready for it to be warm and sunny but I would still consider going boating on a lake. If there were any lakes nearby. TPBM has a headache.

Watched the first episode so far. I liked it a lot. Superheroes with family issues are a common theme but this seems to want to take it a step further. I'm excited to see where it goes.

I watched Song of the Sea tonight. That was a truly beautiful movie and is definitely one of my favorites now. It also gave me huge Odium vibes.

I think I may be on endgame territory in Dragon Quest VII, could be wrong though, this game is deceptive, but it seems after the last story event, every single NPC on the map got new dialogue and now I'm debating whether I should actually visit every town (there's a lot of towns in this game) as I grind for the final boss.

When you dream that you're reading SA, and see Hrathen going out on a trip to help a Stormblessed. I know that makes no sense but the worst part is that I was aware of it, and was waiting to read the clever explanation.

Well, if that's the case it doesn't sound bad. Seeing the CS references would definitely be nice, but that can wait. I played that arc with the previous translation for the psp versions on my overheating phone. Just playing the pc version should already feel like a different game.

So, apparently the Kai version of Zero is patcheable, and I think that's the one that's coming to Steam, so I checked it because I would kind of want to play that one, but it seems it will need 25gb of space and 8gb of RAM at minimum. H-how? *sigh* I guess this version is a no for me at the moment. I'll look into buying the normal one.
