  1. I, don't think I do. I'm a fan of hammers, which is to say I like pianos. TPBM likes honey roasted peanuts.
  2. Tonight I was a victim of the "Never taunt the master" trope. He introduced a new enemy which turned out to be reasonably weak and bad at hitting us. So I was like "Ok, they're easy, we probably don't have to worry about them". A little later he pulls 20+ of those from all directions armed and ready (literally), the tank is completely surrounded and loses over half his health, and then the session ended. The future seems bright.
  3. I just noticed that Hajimari may come out right along Stormlight 5. My wallet doesn't like that.
  4. Hmmm I made one in FL studio mobile once. No lyrics though. Would you ever write a full length book only for you? Without any intention of showing it to anyone?
  5. I actually did, good thing too because I decided to read it first. TPBM has an uncommon Sanderson favorite.
  6. Can you help me roast the Attack of the Clones movie? If I had, you think I'd still be hanging around here?
  7. I won't answer until I speak with my lawyer.
  8. Not by a long shot. I've tried shrimp, pineapple, mushrooms, beans, freaking boneless for some reason, and a long etc. At this point pepperoni feels more like a generic requirement than an actual topping. TPBM likes sour cream and onion chips.
  9. Look, we all know pineapple is amazing. Thing is on pizza... TPBM lives in a house.
  10. I rarely use emojis but sure. TPBM ate chicken today.
  11. Playing Ys VIII, so much for taking a break from Falcom. This game is exploration at its finest. It's divided in small areas you can travel through in a few seconds for the most part, but they're so twisted and so tightly knit together, the map becomes a labyrinth. A lot of areas in the map seem to be locked behind abilities I need to find, and there are other ones where you have to gather help. I was wondering if there were any 3d metroidvanias out there (beside the obvious) and one was looking me in the face all this time. Combat is really fun, a little mindless for weaker enemies (in normal) but that's just what I needed. Progress flows so naturally. Before you even have time to get tired of an area, events happen and you get new objectives or new areas to explore. It's such a perfect gameplay loop, I could play this all day without noticing.
  12. Such a good movie. TPBM has seen The Book of Life.
  13. Whatever the heck Mili is. Do you ever think about the inevitability of taxes?
  14. I think it was. Thinking about it this game is generous with droplets even if you don't farm them, I think I had about 70 of each by the end. Sadly I forgot to use them.
  15. Watched the first episode of Spy x Family. This is good. This is really storming good.
  16. I do actually. Like how apparently my great granddad had some unfortunate circumstances in his childhood in Spain, managed to work since he was very young (I think he went directly to the king to ask him to let him work?), got into a boat coming to Mexico and upon arriving somehow decided to live in one of the smallest towns in this state and started our family there like why not. Come on, that's straight out of a novel. TPBM has a personal paranormal story.
  17. It's video games, I think there's something about such a non-linear way to tell stories. And I don't mean non-linear as in branching storyline, but as in the way you experience the story and the world is one you wouldn't be able to in a book or a movie because it implies pausing or getting off the track. You can just walk straight to your destination, or you could get invested in the scenery and examine things from every angle. You could ignore the non-plot-important people around you, like other media would, or you could take a moment to talk to them. They'll likely won't say anything important or remarkable, but you get a little insight into their heads, and therefore you know a little more about the world, and it now has made your experience just a little bit better because of it. Besides they're really versatile. They can be as text heavy as a book if they need, or they can have a visual direction matching a movie's. It's a medium that already has all the advantages the others have, plus a lot of its own, so there you have it. You meet your favorite cosmere character but you do so inside their own world, and you can't let them know that you know what they've lived through. What do you do?
  18. I have only ever changed it a few times for Ookla season and mental health month but I always go back to this one. You are offered to be taken care of for the rest of your life as long as you keep reading books steadily. On the one hand, you get an enjoyable job, on the other, you're turning a hobby into a responsibility. Do you accept?
  19. So, web serials are a thing, it seems. I guess having Wheel of Time as the only massively long series to procrastinate on wasn't enough so now I can add Worm and TGAB to the list. Sprinkle a few other shorter (but still long) works that look interesting and I might as well give up on my other hobbies to make time for this.
  20. No, I don't think so. TPBM ate breakfast already.
