  1. Thanks! Ok, so I did go back. No need to fight the final boss again or anything, you can load straight into the epilogue. So, wow. There is always another secret, huh.
  2. Noted. Even if I have to fight it again, it could be fun. Might try a different combination.
  3. I see. So do I just choose the first option again? Same method as getting the true ending?
  4. Finished Trails of Cold Steel 4 at 175 hours, making this the longest game I've ever played. That record has been breaking nonstop for the past couple years. I could go for a break though, something 50 or shorter may be due. Long story short, one of the best games I've played, an amazing conclusion for this first half of the series, and a tremendous catharsis for a story I've spent like 6 years playing, as well as being massively excited for the future. I can feel the game hangover setting in. This may seriously bring me down for a couple days.
  5. At the pace I'm going I should expect finishing sometime in the next 10 years, but I do listen to it. This podcast scratches some itches that are difficult to find in any story.
  6. It's almost 5am (almost 4 technically but, what do you call it? Daylight savings? That thing just happened) and I'm fresh out from what I'm pretty sure was the longest gaming session of my life. "It will probably be over in the next hour" I said, maybe 9 times in a row before giving up and accepting my fate. This started at 1pm, so it's been about, 15 hours? They weren't consecutive, I took a couple breaks, but still. I should feel ashamed but I don't regret a thing. So I finished this first half of the series just like I started it. With the sun about to rise, proppeled only by sleep deprivation and my complete lack of self control. So, on topic, if that wasn't the coolest final boss in the history of ever, I don't know what it was. CS4 Finale/Ending:
  7. (why would you ruin a perfectly good burger by taking out the cheese?) I think I do. It's hard to tell rock subgenres apart. TPBM likes dark chocolate.
  8. Good to know. Every little thing I learn about Hajimari makes me more excited. Between this and the fact that it's apparently Crossbell 3 (from what I've heard), I'm almost anticipating the best game in the series.
  9. Fishing is great but it becomes ever so slightly more boring once you have all the upgrades. Of course, that's good for farming. On my side I got into a little reading extravaganza right before the end. I swear, Zemurian kid stories are dark. The Life of Tomatonio and A Coco Panda's Tale are innocent enough but one is about a tomato trying to choose how he dies and the other involves the protagonists literally risking losing their sanity just by being hurt. Like, wow. As for The Immoral Hero, I can't even tell if that one is supposed to be for kids or not. The Legendary Chosen One a bit of the same. Clearly for kids, good message, but the content gets surprisingly real. If You Say Goodbye was a great tearjerker for how short it is. Heartless Edgar was great. Short and sweet, got me tearing up at the end. Good mystery too. Red Moon Rose. I did the word count, 30k words. A novel is a minimum of 40k. We almost got a full length novel in the game, I think that's amazing. The book itself was great, it left me wondering where the creative freedom ends and where the true story starts. Then there's Three and Nine. Easily my favorite book in any of the games so far. This one was painful to read, it gets troublesome to go on when your vision is blurred by your tears. Action scenes were great. If half of what happens in this book is true, I'm so in love with these two characters that the new protagonists are already close to being my favorite and I haven't even met them. Also gave me second thoughts about my "Ouroboros aren't truly villains" stance.
  10. Still no caves though.
  11. Why does the pool smell like hazelnut? Yes please, with a side of earthworms of you'd be so kind.
  12. Huh. I thought it was just a clip from the reveal trailer.
  13. I'm afraid I don't really know about the subject. You see a USB drive mysteriously lying on a bench in the park. Are you excited to find out what's inside or too scared of malware/dangerous content to pick it up?
  14. Occasionally. TPBM can drive.
  15. Watched Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop tonight. This movie is, in a word, cute, which is kind of meta now that I think about it. But yeah, it's just a short simple love story. No difficult emotions, barely any conflict, this movie is the definition of slice-of-life. Which is nice, I thought movies were afraid of that. Having two insecure protagonists felt pretty real despite how over the top some scenes can get, and it's just the kind of thing I would watch to cheer myself up on a bad day.
  16. I just think it's pretty amazing that this movie stayed on theaters all the way up until its digital release.
  17. Nice. I hope this survives longer than the Pathfinder thread. I wanted to play regularly for years but finding people is hard, only got the chance to play a few one-shots here and there, but I finally joined a table last year. We're playing two different campaigns (because masters are busy people and therefore we have 2) and we're not particularly serious about the story so chaos ensues. One of my characters is a gunslinger who, in exchange for being better with a gun, changes genders every time they get a critical success/failure. Haven't had much time to play with that one though. My other character is a wizard with a red spider familiar called Lycoris. Wish I had my own cute telepathic spider irl. We also have a paladin who constantly tries to see how far he can push his lawful good alignment without the master punishing him so that gets pretty fun.
  18. Double name? As in two names and then the last name? That's the common way to do it where I live, I even find it strange when I meet someone with only one name. We also use the last names from both our parents so that's 4 words average for each full name. TPBM likes hand-made toys.
  19. The constant mispronunciations of my name are my nickname. TPBM has a weird name.
  20. Just because I'll regret eating that cookie doesn't mean I won't enjoy it. TPBM trusts the baked goods on this site.
  21. Yeah, she's one of the two hardest matches I've played so far. I think most of my defeats came from her.
  22. Eh, you could say that. I still have online classes so. TPBM has realized this thread and Ask Anyone Anything are essentially the same.
