Pure coincidence! I will not stand for this slander any longer!

I think TUBA would be crazy if they didn't elect Sudiov as their rep.

Having a Bad Day?: Get 'yer Hugs here!!
Voidus replied to Curious Anamaximder's topic in General Discussion
I've been going back and forth on whether or not I'd post anything here. I've had a really terrible couple of weeks, but I also don't think I really want to talk about it much. I don't know, my heads in a bit of a mess these days. Not sure what I'm trying to do by posting here. Maybe just talking for the sake of talking. Anyway I apologize for my incoherent ramblings. Life is terrible and gives you no good options.- 7550 replies

TUBA - The Underground Bakers' Association
Voidus replied to Stormblessed Dolphin's topic in The Alleyverse
So in other news, everyone in the TUBA PM was mysteriously assassinated at the same time. Very mysterious and completely unrelated. -

Sudiov nodded his head with the rest. "Also, just before he gets out, it seems like I'm still not added to all our secret discussions yet. Could someone fix that?" -

Within a bubble of light, cut off on all 3 realms from the rest of existence, a figure stood patiently. Watching. He wasn't sure how long ago it was but something had changed, some minor, temporary flaw in the barrier. It hadn't lasted long, but it had been enough to start with, enough to temporarily suppress the self-repairing functions inherent in the barrier while he made a tiny alteration, cancelling out one of the Aons. Eventually this change could cascade, causing other Aons to fail in sequence until the entire barrier could be brought down. But that could take a long time, centuries or longer with all likelihood. He waited for another moment of weakness, another chance to weaken the barrier without needing to exert himself. An Aon in the barrier flickered briefly. He extended one finger to touch a different Aon. Picking carefully from the shifting, chaotic mass, he gently drew the power of the Dor back. A few nearby symbols flashed in response, attempting to repair the breach, but the weakness in the chain prevented their successful activation. Voidus smiled, reaching out for another. "Soon." He whispered softly.

The consequences of using it somewhere other than the location of that book are also something that might need to be considered. But yeah it's also going to be difficult because spoilers for that book can't really be posted.

I think it's a little unknown to be able to implement it.

Megan fell painfully to the rooftop as Allison dropped her roughly before alighting gently a few feet away. "Still getting used to the flying?" Megan said with a touch of sarcasm. "Or just annoyed that I managed to find you?" Allison stood two steps away, not offering any assistance as Megan stumbled up onto her feet. Megans words barely seemed to register at all as her sister continued to look impassively on. Silently. "We're alone now Allison, you can-" "Don't!" Allison interrupted "Don't call me that. Don't make me do something we'd both regret." Megan withdrew, holding her arms around herself defensively as she looked at her sister, stunned. Their first time seeing each other in so long and that was what she said? She wanted to be called by those stupid nicknames that they'd thought up when they gained their powers? "You ran." Megan said flatly. "You left me alone in that town, in the middle of a sparking war and all you care about is that I call you Impact?" Allison stared back, eyes still hot with anger and a hint of disappointment. It was a look that Megan was used to receiving, usually when she said something monumentally stupid and got both of them into trouble, but they were alone now right? They could both speak freely. So why was Allison still so quiet? Why didn't she say something? Why didn't she explain what had kept them apart? Why she'd had to abandon her sister and flee? Surely some Epic from the Dalles had been after her, chasing her, and she'd needed to go into hiding. She'd left Megan behind to protect her, taking the danger for herself like she always did. "Don't use my name. Not ever. But especially not here." Allison said, her eyes already changing. Becoming cold and distant once more. "I don't need to give anyone here any more information about myself." Megan stared, disbelieving as Allison avoided answering. Sure they'd been apart for a while but her sister couldn't have changed that much could she? Where was the cheeky smile that only Megan ever got to see? The one Allison wore whenever they'd finished pulling off a prank and both managed to regroup safely. "What's happened to you?" Megan asked. "And that guy you were staring at before, were you fighting another Epic? That's not how we do thing, you said we needed to play it safe." "No, you need to play it safe Meg." Allison said. "I'm literally bulletproof, I could take a dozen Epics like that down if they're stupid enough to challenge me. He wasn't even powerful enough to use his abilities to attack, just use human toys like the soldiers in that stupid town." Allison strode up to her sister, eyes bright and furious once again, blazing with anger and power. "The days of hiding from the turf wars in Portland are over for me. I don't hide from horror stories of High Epics anymore. I am a High Epic. I don't need you anymore, just go home and keep yourself safe." Go home. Like she could just forget the months she'd spent tracking Allison, tracking sightings and guessing where she was heading. Just head back to the wasteland that Oregon had become and try to rebuild something? Megans vision blurred as tears caught in her eyelashes, mixing with the dirt that had been kicked up by her fall. She angrily rubbed the mess out of the way, whirling upon her sister to give her a piece of her mind. But Impact had gone. Again.

Nah, some other guy still had it when that went down. I just took it as a souvenir.
