  1. They've already stopped being officially opposed to the DA, I do wish some other guilds would stick around for a while. I miss the parties.
  2. The Rock stepped back into the Physical realm, avoiding yet another wave of chaotic energy in the cognitive that had threatened to tear his mind from his body. This was a lot easier when I had all my abilities. It mused to itself, before suddenly noticing that one of Sel's moons had been destroyed. Oh rusted spike. Who did that? Did the penguins get out? One of the larger Eldritch abominations? Or.... no, that would still be safely locked up. Making use of its newly received mobility the rock went for a small tour of Elantris.
  3. What about if we have three-quarters quarters, we do keep breaking the fourth wall after all.
  4. Arriving on an empty battlefield, Voidus stepped into the Physical realm. "Could have sworn someone summoned me." He muttered, twirling a deep red spike in one hand. "Better get to work repairing the firmament here before the Dor breaks out of control." Sticking the spike in the ground, Voidus closed his eyes in concentration.
  5. The rock examined its new body. This does feel like it might be sort of against what my original plan was... but then again that plan did seem like it would have led to my death so I guess embrace it and if I mess up my plans then me will just have to deal with that. Taking a few tentative steps the rock examined its surroundings just in time to see a stream of Balefire streak past. Yep. Definitely not enough spikes in me yet to survive this. I could try Elsecalling to the Worldspike, see if I can pick up something a little more apocalyptic there but then I might get incinerated by the wardings. The rock anxiously dodged the weaves of power flying through the street, Soulcasting rock to block those that couldn't be dodged.

Welcome! Each metal in Allomancy acts as a kind of gateway, only allowing a specific power to flow through it, but if you charge a piece of metal with feruchemy it changes the shape of that gateway so instead of the gateway being the one that lets through magic to see your alternate selves (Allomantic gold) it becomes a gateway that allows it to store the feruchemical ability (Healing) so when you burn it with allomancy you get healing instead of the normal allomantic effect. Likewise if you store speed in a piece of steel then burn that then the gateway changes from one that lets you push on metal to one that gives magical speed. It doesn't actually change the metal itself, just what power you get out of it.
  7. Go direct to other students to organise something? If you get enough support from students I'm sure you can get through to teachers.
  8. To avoid both derailing the topic and causing offense to anyone I've edited the OP. If @Blazenella or anyone else feels this was an appropriate post they can let a mod or admin know to discuss it.
  9. Feeling a strange sense of inspiration from somewhere, the rock decided to hit something. Unfortunately it then remembered that it was a rock and so couldn't hit anything unless someone threw it.
  10. "Thanks Lopen" The rock said once they were safely within the cognitive realm. "But, ah... I think you maybe just killed my squire? Hopefully if I'm nearby in the cognitive realm at least that will let him have enough power left to not die."
  11. #ReckonersReunion2018
  12. Pulled in three different Narrative directions, the rock decided to just go with the flow for the time being, allowing Rashan to continue his race, uninterrupted by the chaos around them. If things get too out of hand the other me would show up right? I don't think I'd let a part of myself die, but maybe I've been planning for that? I really wish me had stayed around longer in the cognitive realm longer and told me what I wanted me to do.
  13. The rock Elsecalled to Rashan, letting out a telepathic sigh as it did so.
  14. Harry Potter was the first fantasy series that I read of my own volition I think but the one that sticks in my mind more was Tamora Pierces Circle of Magic series, which I also started at Book 4 and didn't immediately realize that I'd stumbled in at the end of a series.
  15. Vin is possibly my favourite character in Fantasy. Egwene is my most disliked character in Fantasy I wish SA would take a pause so we can get more books set on Sel Hemalurgy isn't so bad. I prefer reading about Shallan over Kaladin (Though I found certain developments in OB to detract from the character a bit) I would rather be an Artifabrian than a KR. I think Phantom Menace wasn't as bad as most people think it is. I think Rogue One was far worse than most people think it was I think that Philosophy should be taught as a high school subject, as important as English or Maths.
  16. 1. Spider Man Homecoming 2. Black Panther 3. Iron Man 4, Thor Ragnarok 5. Doctor Strange (Maybe moves to number 4, they were both good in different ways) After that, probably Avengers (1), Thor, Civil war, Age of Ultron, Infinity War
  17. The rock Elsecalls back onto the street outside, sitting in the middle of the street and waiting.
  18. Hoid insults Thanos' mother, drops his mic and is voted to have unanimously won the fight. ... you meant an insult fight right?
  19. *Points at the DA's non-hemalurgic baking division* Like there?
  20. *raises hand* Already building an alleyverse bot. (Currently called cookie-bot, nothing to read into there. )
  21. Hemalurgic spikes are useful to all magic systems.
  22. If it was Aluminium? Probably something bad if it was inside them. Any other metal though shouldn't affect them unless it was Hemalurgic or otherwise Invested in some way.
