    Luckily all alleys in the vicinity were evacuated beforehand. Except for one small Squirrel whose family is likely at this very moment plotting a dark revenge.

    Alternatively you could wait til a higher-powered RP starts up, I'm sure we'll get there eventually. Remember: It's not a real duel unless at least one city block gets leveled in the process.

    That's an interesting concept, I'd be visualizing something more along the lines of a metal jack which when not in use has an artificial vein to carry the blood from one side of it to the other but when you insert a spike you can flip a switch to close off the artificial vein and open a small port in the jack itself so blood flows around the spike.

    A small ripple in space appears, a dark robed figure walking slowly through it before examining his surroundings and then one of the spikes protruding from his body. "Well it seems i successfully spiked out his ability to appear where he is needed but why did I end up here?" He then notices the two other figures. "Oh, hello!"

    I assume you mean every major active guild? Because some of them haven't been active in a fair while.

    Are you sure the prophecy wasn't about one of the other guild wars? Think the last one had 4 or so guilds participating.

    You should be able to see a little orange 'up' arrow next to other peoples posts? If you click on those it will give that person 1 extra reputation, and your title changes at certain fixed levels. Also, instead of double or triple posting you can edit your original post to add extra information by pressing Edit under one of your posts, double posting is usually against forum policy.

    I can't speak for all Lurkers but yeah I'd probably prefer if people did think we're weak. It's much easier to Steelrun behind someone and spike them if they think you're just some weak beggar who lurks in alleys. That being said, as I've already mentioned, there's no official policy forbidding anyone in the DA from attacking if they want, but we tend to be a bit OP so it hasn't really fit into the existing RP structure that people have built.

    I would question the sanity of anyone who put that much research into trying to make something look like a clown but then pretty much everyone in the DA has questionable sanity so sure why not?

    It was a minority of people doing it but unfortunately even if it's just a minority it can affect a lot of other people.

    You don't need to choose a side to get a spike, we hand them out freely to all.

    Lurkers of the Dark Alley don't run into trouble, we sneak up behind it then tap steel and spike it quickly before it notices we're there. Also I'm not really here, I just sent the message and since then have been explaining out of character.

    Again see previous admission that TUBA created the organization, and hence its name and so is ultimately responsible. Also, unless the copyright itself expires then time is no bar to claiming suit.

    We're the residents of a trans-dimensional series of alleys of infinite space and horror, filled with Investiture, eldritch horrors and all manner of evil beings. I count about 7000 lawyers in that last group so we can definitely sue you. Please try to make a company called coca cola ltd and see how well that works out for you. Being different is not a defense against infringing a patent.

    The DA is a place, it's not held up by anything other than reality itself, the denizens of the DA are a collective of individuals, there's no leadership, no integral members. If all our heads of departments died there'd be less activity maybe? But the DA wouldn't collapse. New ideas, organizations and people? Ask the 8 or so that came before you attempting to overthrow it. Well actually don't ask probably because they're all gone. The DA existed for a long time before the thread was created. As far as the forum itself is concerned there is another founding member of the DA who is still unidentified. You really didn't, you stopped a small subset of the DA because they achieved their entire purpose, flushing out moles. (Side note: The DA is not maintaining neutrality, all members are free to attack if they wish)

    Sure for about 5 seconds before they get deleted, and sadly your account would probably be banned. (Seriously, please no one do that) We're not suing the Light Alley, we're suing TUBA for claiming to be the Light Alley, a pre-existing organization, when they had no legal right to do so. In so doing they have tarnished the reputation of said organization, which is now under the control of the DA.

    A puff of metallic dust reveals a small metallic contraption, a silvery spike set inside a harness and sprouting four legs. The spike spits out a small letter before disappearing again. Let it be known that the Light Alley was in fact a very real organization that existed several years ago, it was one of several attempts to combat the Dark Alley, all of which have thus far been entirely unsuccessful. As the Dark Alley has since overthrown the Light Alley and assumed all its patents and we understand you attempted to fraudulently use the name of the Light Alley for your own benefit, we have no choice but to press claims for damages. You'll be hearing from our lawyers shortly, though we will consider a settlement of a large portion of souls. All the best, Voidus, First Lurker, Original Denizen, Head of Sales, etc.

    Well technically all spikes can be head removing spikes but these ones were specifically crafted from a species on one of the lesser Invested worlds, their sole power is the ability to supress the growth of extra heads.
