Welcome to the forums! Can I interest you in a welcome cookie? As for what to read next, there's a few options but the safest would probably be to read Alloy of Law and the other Wax and Wayne books. They're set in Scadrial (The Mistborn planet) a few hundred years after the events of the Mistborn trilogy. Otherwise I'd recommend Elantris or Warbreaker if you're interested in mixing it up with a different world. They're both stand alone novels so it's not a huge commitment, but they're both amazing. Or if you're feeling particularly adventurous you could try the Stormlight Archive, Brandon's big, epic series.

I'm very much in favour of keeping things in the same point of view and tense for the RP, helps things read easier. That being said the second part was still in third person as best I can tell, just in present tense. Probably a good idea, yes.

The rock soulcast the wood of the table Rashan was laying on into a cushioned surface. Then it began to telepathically hum to itself, adopting the Rhythm of Satisfaction as best it could in its drunken state.

So it's figuratively crem stained because DA members are hardworking honest people like Rosharan farmers? I could get behind that. Or are you implying that the victims of DA stabbings have crem for blood? Because I think that's somewhat offensive. -
I think posting our own intros is best, maybe some of the established major players in the city will be part of the intro, but introducing your own character is best I find.

Sure there can, you just... Wait, you mean you don't define the objective reality that surrounds you with your will? That would make life so difficult.

Don't take it personally, he wants to kill most people I think.

I should point out that DA issued spikes are definitely not crem stained. Causes all kinds of infection. The most crem-stained tool is in fact a Rosharan Plough. -
What kind? Well I've got a pointy one, and another point one, and... You know what? I think they're ALL pointy.

Well, I think I'm probably still in the Alleys. Looking after the worldspike maybe? The rock thought for a minute, trying to shake the alcohol from its mind unsuccessfully. It's weird, see he never tells me what I'm supposed to do, just throws me out into the Alleyverse with a bunch of spikes and then he was all like 'go have fun!' What's fun!? I'm a rock, I didn't even use to be able to think, why would I know how I'm supposedto have fun? And then I says back to him 'Why don't you go have fun?' and then he said some long confusing thing about 'fair and balanced rp' What the heck is that!?

You could probably ask the other me? The rock offered after it managed to stop laughing. He's better at that, although I'm notta hundred percent on where I am at the moment. I mean where me is. I think I know where I am. Right?

If a man has a thought, and there's no rock around to hear it. Can men truly think? The rock began mentally giggling at its joke before noticing that Rashan had joined the two of them. Rashan!? Why're you walking all funny? It's all sideways. Everything is sideways. The rock Elsecalled onto a nearby wall and promptly fell to the ground where it started laughing hysterically.

Ah, well we don't have any at the moment I think so I suppose there's room for one or two. But yeah, Meta Epics are pretty rare.

The rock noticed the booth being set up and looked towards Teverah seriously for a moment. Hey! Thank you sooooo much. You're such a nice guy. The rock drew in some Stormlight and Elsecalled into the booth. Normally this would have instantly cleared its head from any effects of alcohol, but unfortunately Stormlight mostly just enhanced your existing ability to process toxins, and unfortunately the rock did not have a liver so it had no ability to enhance. Everyone here is so nice.

Two interesting facts: One: I seriously debated whether I would use Magmaw or another Epic modelled after the Vicious mockery cantrip in D&D who literally can hurt people with his words. Two: I also created an Epic in WHIO whose power was to react to things a few seconds in the future, he named himself Altermind only to realize a few seconds later that he only called himself that because he heard another Epic introduce himself as that, thus earning himself the name of Latermind. He was very petty about it and continued to insist that he was the original Altermind. What other kinds of meta Epics are there?
-
There was something in Steelheart to that effect but in Calamity we also learn of a power that's just general matter creation, which I do assume would include gold. So I think it's mostly that there's none who can do it on a large scale. But also, probably best to play it safe and avoid it just in case.

The pure ethanol that the rock had changed the rootbeer into finally hit the equivalent of its brain, instantly causing it to become somewhat inebriated. Rashan! The rock drunkenly projected. What are you.. when did... hi. How are you going these days? Acthilly, nevvr mind. I was going to, but then yer. So yeah! We should gettsa drink! The rocks mental voice became more and more slurred as it continued monologueing.

You could keep the physical change but just that his internal organs don't necessarily become any healthier, so he can still die from old age. He'd just look very young when he did so.
-
I think there's also a WoB that no Epic is immune to aging. I can try to track it down.
-
Excellent. Everything goes according to plan. *Insert evil laugh*

Of course it counts. How else are you going to accept the welcome cookie?

Welcome to the secret, not widely known, second level of the Tautology club. Also known as the Tautology club's second level.

A van arrives on the scene, a group of Dark Alley acolytes all burst out, railguns held at the ready. One of them stepped forward with a notice. "We've heard that the fotunes given out here may be prejudiced against the hemalugically enhanced, as such we are issuing this cease or be deceased letter, until such time as the veracity and neutral nature of these fortunes can be ascertained."
