    NaNoWriMo - Day 17

    GuyS I'm SloWLy dYiNg ovEr hErE. I WanT iT aLl tO eND.

    Anyways. 

    Why I'm dying:

    1.) I go through fazes where I can actually write half decently and where i can't really write at all. I'm not writing well right now.

    2.) I've been staying up until midnight on weekends and 11 on weekdays and I'm exhausted.

    3.) I like my own characters too much. I'm really proud of some of them, and I'm putting them through so much pain!

    4.) Only 19,000 more words! (Still haven't missed a day)!

    5.) I'm pretty much through with the outline I made for my story, and that's thrown me off a tad. As mentioned before, I have 19,000 words left. So what I'm doing is making my novel a collection of short stories and novellas based off of Grimm fairy tales with my original project as the main piece. So I'm trying to squeeze out another outline to go off of before I finish this one. Which will likely be in just a few hundred words.

    6.) My laptop doesn't connect to the internet half the time, which is a real pain in the neck.

    7.) I HAVE SO MUCH STUFF TO DO. (Including tKotC... Sorry, guys. I'll get there eventually).

    I know I'm late, but about tWoT... TEotW has actually been my favorite so far, and I am ALMOST done with tFoH. (So close)! They're definitely not my favorites, but I do love the world, the story, and most of the characters. I just really don't like the writing style. I'm reading them for the last three books. When you're sad because your writing isn't as good as Brandon Sanderson's. (Or just good in general).

    NaNoWriMo- Day 12

    Still going way strong! Still have an average of just about 2,000 words a day! I should be reaching the 50% mark tomorrow! Haven't missed a day yet!

    When you're listening to your Disney playlist and Go the Distance from Hercules comes up and you suddenly have the mental image of yourself in a mistcloak running down the street while singing it. Also, when, after you finish your HoA re-read, you text your friends saying, "All my friends are dead."

    Oh yeah. That was rough, by the way. I'm really lucky i survived. Only problem is that it was a shardblade. I can't use my left arm anymore.

    When you try to decide which of the three references you can use in this scenario. It's actually Ruin, though.

    When you now have an empty hole inside yourself because you are no longer reading MB... And now I'm imagining Sazed singing Empty Chairs at Empty Tables. But i have to finish the other book I've been reading for months!!! Anyways. Save me from myself and the voices I hear in my head... Please...

    When you just finished your Era 1 MB re-read, and you can't decide between Era 2, Warbreaker, or Skyward to re-read next. (Gotta finish Fires of Heaven first, though).

    Just felt like sharing the reason I was crying today.

    I just finished my re-read of The Hero of Ages.

    NaNoWriMo- day 6

    I'm actually still going really strong! I've been doing about 2,000 words every day, and I am 25% of the way to my goal of 50,000! So I have room for a slacker day or two, if i need it. 

    This is so much better than last year...

    Okay, I have finally decided what my favorite movie is.

    It's How To Train Your Dragon.

    Honorable mentions:

    Newsies, Phantom of the Opera, Aladin, Hercules, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Secondhand Lions, and Stardust. Although I think The Book Thief belongs in there, too.

    When it's FINALLY the weekend and you decide to stay up really late tonight and finish your re-read of tHoA. I'm just about halfway through.

    If you didn't have the opportunity to know him before he left for a while, you should know that he is both an amazing person and a phenomenal writer.

    NaNoWriMo people!

    *mutters about not being a great writer but needing to practice and how this is probably going to fail*

    I'm going to be writing a retelling of the Grimm fairy tale The Twelve Brothers, which i outlined a while back. I hope this lasts longer than last year...

    I both love this and hate it at the same time. I love the variation in his work, but it definitely gets frustrating at times. But (hopefully) tLM and tRoW are getting closer, as well as Alcatraz 6. And about the Rithmatist... Fingers crossed.

    When you carve your pumpkin with the symbol for Scadrial. (It looks really cool... Just saying. Definitely better than my Bridge Four one last year... *shiver* It was bad)... Not only does it look really clean, but i really thinned out the inside of the pumpkin with this scoop thing, so the whole pumpkin sort of glows, too.

    When you get a henna tattoo of the Bridge Four glyph on your shoulder. Unfortunately, it'll be gone in a few days... When you're really excited for Nov. 26 and Dec. 19. Also, when you sneakily mention the Starsight release being over Thanksgiving break and your mom just says "no." I have my fingers crossed for either the fourth Wax and Wayne book or tRoW releases, though. When you were anxiously waiting your whole trip to get back to the Shard.

    Oh my goodness i have a new best friend... Norm Lewis also played the Phantom on Broadway for a while! I was trying to find *cough* not bootlegs *cough* of Ben Lewis doing the Final Lair scene, and got some stuff with Norm Lewis. He's really talented. I'll have to see what he's done with Les Mis, then...
