    I have to wonder, highprincing (my word) would be time consuming, and he as a radiant would not want to take the time to do that.

    What if the oathgates are like a door. You have to put in the blade and turn the it one full time, then turning the whole mechanism will work. Like a key.

    Not having read comments yet. Kal is being nice, and is gonna have an interesting day. I don't like young Dalinar. Adolin I think will form a bond with Gallant Dalinar is having trouble, possibly with what happened with Elhokar. I think the mystery radiant is Lyft, I don't think most radiants would take pushing from their spren to do that.

    That's an odd thought...about the allomancer under. I'll look at aluminum use next time I read through Wax and Wayne. I think it wouldn't work though.
