You Know You're a Sanderfan When...
Yitzi2 replied to Shardbearer's topic in General Brandon Discussion
I wonder how much Moshe Feder (his editor, not Israeli AFAIK, but definitely Jewish) has to do with that. (I noticed that too with Yonatan and Meirav, but I don't remember any others.) -
Quick Fix Game 23: You don't want to Play this Game.
Yitzi2 replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I will play as Jack, an immigrant from the Hushlands who's been working with some silimatic engineers and just finished developing a chip capable of running at least some Hushlands video games.- 395 replies

What's YOUR Talent?
Yitzi2 replied to Silus - Shard of Flame's topic in Alcatraz Versus the Evil Librarians
Being ignored. -
Even leaving aside the question of whether Hemalurgy would work on a no-longer-Cosmere system and that you'd probably need to be on Scadrial, I'm not sure that a symbiotic form of Investiture can be stolen via Hemalurgy. Anybody know of WoB's regarding Hemalurgy and the Nahel Bond?

Being a windrunner seems good...though that's partially due to having a spren to help guide me as to what's right.

Long Game (3)2: Pulling on Strings
Yitzi2 replied to Orlok Tsubodai's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Garshin found himself floating above a sea of mist. Thoughts entered his head from somewhere outside: "Our apologies about your former body. The terms of bringing you back in time had clear stipulations, but that entity has never been much of one for following rules. A new body will be provided for you for the next round." Next round? But even as he had the thought, he understood. Herwynbe's rambling about past contents had not been pure nonsense. There would be more trials to come, before he could return to his own time and place. To be continued... -

Wilson is probably worth keeping, if only because soothing could be useful near the very end (if it reaches that far). @Manukos do you have anything to say for yourself? Any roles to claim? -

I don't think it's too early to start discussion of who else might be the Inquisitor. And Wilson, I believe you mentioned an inactive seeker in PM? -
Long Game (3)2: Pulling on Strings
Yitzi2 replied to Orlok Tsubodai's topic in Sanderson Elimination
The only remaining elim is the Inquisitor...and we thus far have no real reason to think you aren't him. EDIT: And, though I already said it, I'm also a lurcher, and have been since the beginning of the game. -

Yitzi2 replied to Orlok Tsubodai's topic in Sanderson Elimination
The Inquisitor can only convert in the night immediately after a Misting is killed; as such, he can't convert until we lynch a Misting (or he uses a power we don't know about to kill someone, but there aren't really any plausible possibilities as to what such a power might be). Furthermore, we strongly suspect (but are not sure) that he only has one power left, in which case converting anyone will amount to suicide, so there's a limit of one more convert. If he's not limited to one more convert, then he's almost certainly limited to two. Manukos, do you want to tell us what your role is? Also, because the Inquisitor will appear on first lynch to be a thug, what are everybody's thoughts on asking all thugs to claim now (in order to give the Inquisitor a dilemma, and because he doesn't currently have the ability to kill anyway)? -

I might as well vote for Hemalurgic Headshot as well. -

Do you remember where he claimed Regular, by the way? EDIT: Do we have an active seeker? If so, we can use him to allow Mistings to claim in order to avoid lynches (with the Seeker investigating such claims so the Inquisitor can't hide behind one). -

That would explain how she kept knowing who the elims were. -
Long Game (3)2: Pulling on Strings
Yitzi2 replied to Orlok Tsubodai's topic in Sanderson Elimination
True. However: -The lack of an inquisitor would mean it's staying just everybody against one evil, so with this many players left even a simple random-guessing strategy would have decent chances. -A limit of one evil means that if both lurchers protect themselves, the elim can't take them out, and can only win by causing one of them to be mislynched (assuming, of course, that the inquisitor doesn't convert a lurcher tonight without a snapped replacement; of course, if he was certain to do that, lynching both lurchers would also be a good win strategy.) -

Not quite back to square one, because after the conversion there won't be an inquisitor (unless he has a sixth power; we've been assuming five but that's not certain). -

Yitzi2 replied to Orlok Tsubodai's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Oh, I didn't mean giving up uber iron therefore converting a lurcher, I just mean hoping to knock out one of the village lurchers, especially one that gave them so much trouble. Hero was a much more prominent target than me. As for the unprotected thug, I somehow ended up counting Kipper separately from Elenion (the character). Not sure how that happened, though having two Elenions in the game probably contributed. -
Long Game (3)2: Pulling on Strings
Yitzi2 replied to Orlok Tsubodai's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Assuming there are no village coinshots left, iron is also useless to an elim (though tin is still worse, being actually counterproductive to the elim cause if it takes). If the elims knew who would be protected, their best target if trying for a useful convert would be a thug (there was one unprotected thug, assuming he's not the inquisitor) or rioter, since those are useful for an elim. As for what Hero said: The first message where I mentioned those actually involved time info. The second one (about him suggesting we both protect him) was too minor to be significant on its own, hence I only mentioned it after you said you were suspicious of Hero. So I'm sorry if I wasn't clear that that hadn't just happened, but I didn't mean to say that had just happened. EDIT: One final thing to consider: The elims knew that Hero was a lurcher. Only three people knew that I was a lurcher, and you and Hero were two of them. So assuming that they wanted to convert a lurcher, Hero was a much more likely choice. -

Yitzi2 replied to Orlok Tsubodai's topic in Sanderson Elimination
What would be the point of not submitting a kill order that night in any case? Clearly, whoever was supposed to submit the kill order wasn't able to do it in time for whatever reason. Although the fact that you never got a response regarding your "everybody protects you" proposal (which you also failed to retract once the possibility of using Iron was pointed out) does give a very plausible reason for waiting until it was too late. By the way, you forgot two other explanations besides you being the convert, me being the convert (which you probably shouldn't have made clear, since Wilson already knew and would be able to post before being killed if you turned out to be innocent, so whichever team you're on it's a disadvantage for the other team to know too), or the snap being unrelated to the conversion: It could be that there was a third lurcher, or it could be that the supposed snapped was actually the third convert or the inquisitor...though in that last case, it is extremely strange that Wilson was not attacked last night. -

Though that last one, gloating about having stopped the elims twice, could have been to give him an excuse to try to draw all the village protection onto himself. -

Do spiked Tineyes even give PMs to the village? -
Long Game (3)2: Pulling on Strings
Yitzi2 replied to Orlok Tsubodai's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Ok, so no more PMs...still, there are 15 villagers, one convert, and the Inquisitor, so that's pretty good odds. And I agree with Wilson's suspicion of Herowannabe. -

Did you remember to tell a couple of people beforehand that you would be soothing Mage, so that we know you didn't just see who was soothed and claim them? -
Long Game (3)2: Pulling on Strings
Yitzi2 replied to Orlok Tsubodai's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Of course you're not the Inquisitor. Our theory is that you are a former Tineye who was then converted with the Thug spike, which took. And we presume that when Rae was converted, someone else snapped, so it wouldn't even take out our PMing capability if they kill you. -
Long Game (3)2: Pulling on Strings
Yitzi2 replied to Orlok Tsubodai's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Ah, so we started with two Tineyes, and now it seems one of them (Rae) has been converted. And even if the steel spike didn't take, there should still have been one kill attempt... And I'd like to get confirmation that there wasn't a foiled kill attempt (or two) before discussing any further suspicions.
