Traditionally the Heralds would return together. Now though, Taln have no access to stormlight and is delusional. That could explain his delay. We don't know if the Heralds have to travel all to way from Braize or are just dumped in Roshar after a breaking.

There is a connection between the Heralds. The remaining Heralds being on Roshar may have helped. As Kalak mentioned, they're not suppose to be getting worse and yet they are. Consider the Heralds 'sanity' as a singular resource. Instead of it being drained from 10 outflows, there was only one this time. Plus some of the Heralds being on Roshar allows that 'sanity' to be restored somewhat from time to time which may have contributed to the lengthy duration.

The Stormfather was essentially 'enhanced' by Honor afterwards as Dalinar is the first to bond this incarnation of the Stormfather.

The Sibling withdrew from men. This says that Voidlight availability has been continuing, presumably ever since the Last Desolation. The Unmade being mentioned directly after the first line suggests that the Unmade are the one providing Voidlight and transformations. This revelation came as a surprise to the Radiants. BAMs connection and 'voidlighting' is mentioned separately and is a new development. If BAM was an Unmade before this, it would not have been necessary to point it out. Although it could be said that BAMs ability was new and therefore noteworthy. But their plans to begin the capture of a great spren with her, signify that her new development was much more dangerous then the others. Which bring us to this: I believe these WoR epigraphs are in response to BAMs betrayal of the Order. She may have also brought other spren to the Singers or she could have splintered herself or even made new spren to provide forms of power for the Singers. It could be that because of BAMs change of sides and that the Radiants believed she did not do it by Intent, that they named her Unmade. This abrupt change of position may very well have been due to the change in Honor at the time, which we know was that he was dying. This might also tie in to why Honor believes that the Dawnshards will be of no help. Hessi reference to BAM as a she could be that BAM was bonded to a female Singer at the time considering we don't know what actually happens when a Singer bonds a sapient spren within their gemheart. But that is another discussion.

I'm wondering if Renarins 'healing' help push Adolin towards bonding with Maya. Would Renarins 'view' of the perfect Adolin be dangerous considering his futuresight is void tainted?

I think its because the Fused is only able to manipulate that one 'base' gravitational pull of the planet, while Kaladin can have additional 'pulls', no matter the direction.

I figured that Windrunners have acces to better acceleration because of Adhesion. Kaladins abrupt direction change is because he controls direction with Adhesion+Gravitation like using the WASD keys on a keyboard, but the Fused uses an analog stick instead.

One of the heralds is in Shin and pulling strings there. Its a logical assumption since the leadership was so adamant that no voidbringers returned as Nale had said.

The storm probably has some Rhythm that compels them to go outside.

Seems to me all void-terms are purposefully misleading.

Looking at the voidbinding chart and the mirroring/twinning of the glyphs, realising that the first time we see Sja-Anat is through a mirror. I wonder if Sja-Anats ability to 'enlighten' spren is somehow related to the 'gold/electrum-allomancy' aspect of the surges.

Has this particular perspective of the chart been discussed? Could someone point me to it. Or is it just artistic flair?

I would like to point people to the surgebinding chart. If Adolin is going to be an Edgedancer, I think his relationship with Shallan will have problems.

It has always bugged me that most people here sees that sentence as a gender reference and not a plurality reference.

It's because there's a WOB that says that the cosmere is 16 centric and since the Rosharan system has 16 planetary bodies. I figure Roshar was 16 centric pre-Shattering.

Perhaps the Unmade was a means to circumvent the formation of his Perpendicularity? Though I wouldn't know how?

Are we certain her ability to touch Wyndle was because of her trip to the Valley and not something she was born with?

I would like to contest that the Highstorms pre-Shattering provided Light. I'm not sure how to explain this, but I don't think the Stormfather, before his merging with Honor, could renew spheres. I know I'm nitpicking here but the 'Stormfather' as he is now, is a post-Recreance thing. I don't that there is an instance in the visions of the past that there was anyone (non-Radiant) using gemstones as a source of light. If Stormlight was readily available back then as it is now should we not see some hint of them in the visions. ( If someone finds otherwise then kick me ) Then there's that instance of Dalinar taking over the female Radiant where she had gemstones with her. Urithiru was probably the only place where stormlight/gemstone use was common because they have ready access to them. The point is, I don't think the Ancient Radiants got their stormlight from an external source. I think they drew it directly through their bond. Kind of the same way the Fused get their voidlight? Sheesh, just had some major de-javu.
