  1. My take is that Stormlight within a container brings the 3 realms closer together within the container be it gemstone or physical body. Hence the glowing.
  2. Its odd that the voidbinding chart features 'trapped' aspects that we associate with Honor and Cultivation.
  3. Aimia. Larkin. True Desolation.
  4. The conventional idea is that the Ryshadium evolved from horses. But I think they came from something else and evolved to shape like horses.
  5. I think Preservation didnt align the metals to the powers but made it so that only sixteen were discovered at the time it was needed. Just as the 10 Surges are known, but their greater powers are still concealed.
  6. 10 is tied to Greater Roshar. I think the 9 of Braize indicates that its 'broken' somehow and is tied to the home of the voidbringers thats mentioned in the Eila Stele.
  7. It could be that spren only started granting Surges after the introduction of the Honorblades. As far as we know back then, a spren grants distinct forms to the Singers but not access to the Surges. When Syl say that the spren copied the Honorblade, there are three distinct components that I could see. The bond, the Surges and the Physical Manifestation (Bladeform). It could be that when an Honorblade is dismissed, it bears some similarity to a spren in the CR or at least the spren could perceive the similarities to copy it.
  8. Im of a mind that it refers to Renarin but alot of people would have to die for that.
  9. It might not be that larkin dont eat spren but that spren keep away from larkin.
  10. More this instead.
  11. I wouldnt be suprised if all this 'Him' business actually refers to another entity entirely.
  12. The Return of the Heralds and the Fused are separate to the Desolations. The Return has always happened before/after a Desolation. The Last Desolation was unique in that the Heralds and Fused returned during a Desolation. The 'breaking' of the Oathpact was so that the conflict with Odium remained in limbo. I believe the contest between the Shards somehow takes precedence and the Desolation is somehow on hold while it is being resolved. Once Odium is 'defeated', the Desolation will resume.
  13. I wonder if the issue of balance is perhaps tied to Braize being 9-centric when Greater Roshar is 10-centric.
  14. Could very well be Melishi asking after the Sibling. If you subscribe to that particular opinion.
  15. I've been contemplating that perhaps all the Singers rejected their forms at the Recreance and the Parshendi survived because they were far way from BAMs influence/reach.
  16. My take is that without Honor, Odium could essentially subvert the spren and take over the magic system. The Oathpact is essentially one type of investiture keeping another in check. If the former supplants the latter then the system crumbles.
  17. I think there were Radiants among them when they came to the Shattered Plains during the False Desolation. Whether Singer or Human. Or perhaps some Radiants came to stay with them. The gem archive does say that the Radiants would be taken in by the various nations. The Warcamps could be considered a nation back then considering its size.
  18. Saved from a galloping horse.
  19. 3 Seasons with 10 Episodes each for each book.
  20. Its going to be voidbringers coming from Aimia.
  21. It gives me a mental picture where the chasmfiend is actually a caterpillar.
  22. He need not climb the mountain. He could have crossed over to Shadesmar where he would emerge at a level plane to the Oathgates and then cross back to the PR.
  23. With multiple Rattles alluding to 'failing light' (especially with Lift getting Light through food). I think there will be a stormlight drought and the child is actually a young spren which I think the Radiants must splinter to gain Light.
