"Oooh, a non guild group. We haven't had one of those guys come in years. The last one was like some weird splinter mime group." As he finished talking, a knock sounded on the door. Then, without waiting for an answer, another man came in, shut the door behind him and began to read off of a note card. "Now enters, Mack, Master craftsmen, traveler of the multive-" He was cut off by the door being shoved into his face by a man wearing black and gold robes. "You were right, that is stupid." He says. "See, I tol-" The other man was cut off by Mack, "Don't know why kings did that on earth. Its ridiculous. Maybe add smoke next time, or a clap of thunder, that could definitely help with the entrance. Anyway, what have we got here?" He begins to inspect the broken chaos marine spine and the necklace. "These could definitely help with the Iron man project. How did you get this necklace? Its like nothing I've seen before." Taking a tiny pin from a vial of blood, he stabbed himself in the eye, and swallowed a little steel, and burnt it. "The helmet doesn't appear to be invested, unless I'm very much mistaken. Hmmm. This could be valuable, very valuable. Anyway, what it sounds like to me, is that you want mechanized shard plate. I can tell you right off the bat, that the awakening will be nearly impossible. There is just too much metal. Now, what I could do, is if i had a very large quantity of breath, i could make a fabric skeleton, that moves as the wearer does, to aid in movement. But that would be a whole lot of breath. I am confused as to why you want multiple types of investiture powering this. You say that you want Aonic shields, and Augmenter fabrials. Personally, if this is being used in a place with access to the Dor, I would go 100% with the Dor for shielding. Stormlight can run out, and be stolen by basically anyone with a bond. Engraved Aons? Nope, not running out. I can easily stick a bunch of strength enhancing Aons on this to make it stronger, put them on a loop. I can definitely coat it in aluminum, and if I'm right in guessing that the ichor alcohol is for a lifeless, then that wont pose an issue. Actually one problem with the aluminum. The aluminum coating will mean that no investiture will be able to get out. So Aonic shields will be nearly impossible without predesignated holes to get through. The thing is, if the shields can get out, then other stuff can get in. I could do the shields with Aons, but the Aons wouldn't be protected by any physical armor. I'm confused about what you mean with the shardplate base with no slits on helmet. I mean, the no slits makes sense if its a lifeless. but what do you mean by shardplate base, and what is it with "incorporated into HUD". The transparent thing will work easily by the way. The tech spine I can incorporate, to save the awakening a little breath. Fog machine is easy enough, 2 or 3 aons and I have one for you. Larkin tech will pose an issue. I can't replicate that with machinery. I know guys who could with hemalurgy, but with a lifeless running the thing, he would need to open it up to get the affect to work, and that leaves him vulnerable. With the tech from the necklace I think I can do it, but you would need a special lifeless to use the larkin ability." Mack paused to take a breath. "In short, I can do this. I just need those questions answered."

The clerks eyes widened. This was way above his pay grade, this is similar to one of the bosses personal projects. "Okay ok. We can definitely help you with most if not all of the items on this list. Unfortunately this is above my paygrade, so I will have to ask you to move into this waiting room while I bring a more experienced engineer in, maybe even the boss himself." Tapping a panel on the wall, 5 floating boxes came out, 4 of which dropped ropes, and a 5th popped out a microphone. The clerk began to tie the ropes onto the spine, while saying into the Mic, "Hey boss, we have a guy up front, who uh needs something done. It could help with the uh, iron man project." The box flew away, while the clerk face palmed, muttering something about stupid earth references. Tuning back to @Cyanic's character, he said "Right this way please, and if you don't mind me asking, are there any guilds that you are associated with, just so that we can know who to contact if there are issues." He began to walk deeper into the fortress, stopping occasionally to wait for doors to be opened from the inside until they got to a pristine work area. "I will wait here with you until the boss gets here, he will want to ask more questions about the engineering."

A young, fresh faced clerk jerks up at the sight of the customer walking in. After hearing his request, he nods, then spanreeds HQ. “what kinda deal are we talking about, we may need to bring in the boss to negotiate this, I’m not sure I have the authority,” @Cyanic

Mack heard the words egg nog, and began to listen in. His eyes widened at the atrocity that was about to happen. He almost called in the rods of god, but then realized that he shouldn't pass judgment until after the crime had been committed. so he subtly took out a piece of paper, and wrote, Prep Rods o'f god, alleyverse. He quickly received a response. Are you sure? The collateral damage could be catastrophic. I know its gonna be catastrophic, why do you think Im ordering it? Are you sure? What could possibly be so bad it could warrant a complete destruction of this plane of existence? Somebodies about to spill some egg nog. Oh, ok. Right away sir. Somewhere in the Craftsmen underwater base, a team of men tackle the poor egg nog loving scribe, beating him to a pulp for even considering leveling a continent over egg nog. They write back, Sir, we are not going to kill everyone over some egg nog, you aren't thinking right. You're tired, come home. WHAT! THIS PLACE WILL NEED TO BE PURGED ONCE THIS HERESY HAS BEEN COMMITTED! THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR SPILLING EGG NOG! THE HERETICS WILL BE BURNED IN A FIERY KINETIC BOMBARDMENT! Sir, we've been over this, kinetic bombardment is not an appropriate response to heresy. Also, your definition of heresy is a bit warped. NO, We agreed nuclear, chemical, and psychological responses weren't appropriate, kinetic was never discussed. Sir, we aren't doing it. At this point Mack had had enough, He furiously tossed the paper to the ground, and burned it using his wand, muttering something about storming heretics and hoping that they burn in the testing labs of the DA forever.

"Hmmm. I believe that I could, though I couldn't write the program solely with Aons. Aons don't really seem to work in that way, similar to how on earth, different programming languages are used for different things. Now what I would do, would be use a lot of technology of earth, and set up a homing beacon on the place where you want to visit and another one on a different location. Maybe even a third. in a third location. Then you carry a miniature one with you that you activate when you want to teleport to the desired location, when that happens, the other homing beacons lock on to your location and do the calculations then transmit your relative locations to the box in your hand, which will communicate that to the Aon program using a complicated series of if then loops. Finally, the Tia would teleport you to the desired location using the relative locations and the distance between them as a guide. I think that's how it would work, though I'm not entirely sure. And This method wouldn't really work for things outside of the universe, because broadcasting that kinda information is difficult. And obviously it wouldn't work in places without the Aon Dor, so really only in thew alleyverse and Sel. Sorry for thinking aloud there and probably boring you to death, but I think that thats the easiest way, with minimal chance for error. I can experiment, and shorten it and make it easier. if you do end up making it, good luck making the Aon program, drawing those aons to be less then a inch big gets really difficult." Mack turned back around and proceeded to guard the door some more. @Gancho Libre

“We will deliver it to you on the day when it’s needed, just let us know the day before, calculating time travel can take a while.” The man replied. THE NEXT DAY... The craftsman stepped away from the counter having just put on the aluminum plating on the final ring. Quickly, he ran over to the spanreed and sent a message to @AonEne that the rings were completed. He then put them in a specially designed aluminum plated steel lock box, to try and protect them from the usual types of damage that can happen in the alleyverse, and walked to the entrance hall to give them to the client.
-
The man scribbled down the instructions, and grabbed a pricing chart. “Let’s see, that will be... the eternal servitude of you two and any offspring that you produce.” He glances up and saw the look of horror on @AonEne‘s face. “Well I suppose that I could cut you a deal and ask for you to do us a favor at some later date. Mack will let you know what it is when the time comes. Sorry, we would use Chrysts but we don’t currently have an account in the bank, so we can’t use that.”

"Good." Mack spun around quickly and positioned himself near the room heading into the back. Suddenly he noticed the man who used to be doing a headstand approach him. He gripped his wand a little tighter, feeling the aons engraved in the metal. "Hey," Ioc said, "How'd you make an Aon into an object?" Macks eyes, widened. He loved it when someone talked about his work. "Its actually really cool! You can't just engrave the aon into the surface, otherwise when you activate it, the effect will come out of the aon. That's not good. Especially for things like Aon Ehe. Inside of the wand, there are metal plates with Aon programs. The Aons you see activate them, nothing more. This one here, Eno, activates a program that generates a stream of water coming out of the end. I was inspired by this one book series I read on a far away planet. Other ones, like this," He said excitedly, pointing to the Aon Daa, "use the same program, but because the starting Aon is different, the end result is the burst of light, characteristically exhibited by Daa, shoots out the end of the wand. Why do you want to know?" @Gancho Libre

Deep inside of the New super secret underwater base, One of the Craftsmen sees a light flash. Someone was inside the store! Second customer in 16 years! Gotta take them up on it. They ran to the teleportation room and stepped on a special aon Tia, teleporting them into the shop. They run around the corner, and ask "You said you wanted jewelry? We can do jewelry. What modifications do you need?"

I think that we have stayed away from Epics because of partially tradition, partially the fact that the reckoners RP started back up and they use epics there. To my knowledge, there is no rule against making epics so long as they aren't op. I do know that one character has a few epic powers granted via hemalurgy. @Voidus @Mraize @Archer @Kidpen am I right in that?

Mack, During the 7 day war. Mack stumbled into the craftsmen base, and collapsed on the floor, He was free! For the first time in months he was able to do what he wanted instead of that insane maniac. He could get back to his work, but only after he rebuilt. His acolytes were gone, they all worked for the DA, storm them and all they sta- no. He wouldn't hate the DA. They were the most powerful people(?) around, and had access to thousands and thousands of gemstones of data, science and research, which he may need. And Mac made sure that Mack would have a clean slate after Mac died. There was no need to sully that. Regardless, without any assistants or funding, he would need to leave the alleyverse for a time. Visit the schools, find more inventors, builders, and thinkers. Thankfully, this place was well enough defended that he didn't have to worry about it. All he needed to do was grab his armor, robes, and his savings and leave the alleyverse. He slowly got up and moved throughout the base. It was weird, without Mac in his head, he felt so much slower. That Man had perfected his mind, and had a goal. Mack needed to do that, partially to protect himself, but mostly because of what he could accomplish with a drive like that. But before he picked his mission he needed to heighten his mind, and get back on his feet. He walked to the Teleportation room, and moved to the Aon Tia tied to his house in elantris. He would start where he was born, and work his way out from there. Mack, Year 4. Somewhere in the Cognitive realm. Journal entry 4 years into my journey around the multiverse, Finally made it off of taladin. Never going there again. Complete waste of time. Their investiture is the most useless thing I'v ever learned about. You can't use it outside of the system due to its need to be recharged. Maybe if you managed to make a self sustaining miniature star? but that would be nearly impossible. Actually, that might be an interesting problem. But there is no way I'm going to be able to get some of a shard's power. Especially that slontze. Places I've visited: I went to everything after scadrial in the last 4 years, and studied at them learning their magic systems. Roshar - Could be useful, though the oaths and intent are pesky. May need it for the armor though Sel - by far the most useful, I can use Aons and the Dor to power nearly everything Silverlight - bunch of stuck up idiots. Nobody wants to help me invent. I'll look for people once I get back into the alleyverse Scadrial - The Metallic arts are interesting. Thank goodness Leras and Ati made sure that they made sense. Allomancy is really only useful in terms of fighting though. My machines cant use it, at least, not without ettmetal. Same with feruchemy, though copperminds could provide good memory banks if I can hack them to work. Hemalurgy, not sure how much I like it, but I will need it to get most of the systems to work together, so I guess I'll have to be used to it by then. Nalthis - The variability in commands with breath is intriguing. I'm wondering how conditional I can make them, and if they can work in programs. I'll need to find someone experienced in their use on another world. Randland - I am staying away from the One Power. Even when I see it being used, I get flashbacks to Mac. There is no way I can use it safely. Taladin - see above. Still need to get to: Earth. Macs had memories from there, and the technology is so advances Threnody - need to see shades. First of the sun - aviar could be cool? I guess? I need to finish my tour though.

As he walked away from the building, he began to hear a fight brake out, people started throwing punches as he walked out the door. Not his problem though, nope. Im done with these petty squables, there is nothing in there of value. Sadly not even the waiter who gave me egg nog quali- wait. The Egg Nog. They could damage the EGG NOG! Crap! Mac turned around, and for the first time in 16 years, drew his wand. He wouldn't be using Daa, that could hurt the drinks, he turned the wand around in his hand until Aon Eno was exposed, and a few of the higher powered varieties. He slid up the sleeve of his robe, and ran his finger across his leather armband, activating his boosting aons there, lending him strength, bravery, mental clarity, and gracefulness. Finally, he tapped a special aon shao. He transformed from a grungy dirty man in a robe, to a tall imposing sorcerer, clothed in black and gold robes, suitable of a protector of the nog. Hopefully, nothing to bad would happen that would force him to come into the fight, but just in case, he needed to protect the holy elixir. He made his way into the building, and began to observe the fight. He walked over to the annoyed proprietor, and asked him the all important question. "Do you know where the Egg Nog is, I need to protect it in case this fight gets too rough, and goes near it." @Inklingspren

lol, I remember that. yeah, he approached me, I said that we didn't actually have a use for him yet, so I guess he could spy in TUBA until we needed something more. Then he told me everything. Actually, the potato wanted the spying to continue, and was mad that I revealed you guys so soon. Still sorry about that grey knight.

Mack looked at the Gem on the table, stunned at how easy that was. He glanced around the room, and saw nothing but the usual crowd of crazies. Hmm... that was almost too easy, oh well. Maybe Voidus was feeling helpful today. Mack stood up, brushed off some of the dirt from his robe, and walked out the door to return to his work.
-
Mack paled when the shadow started morphing. Even though he was expecting him, being in the same room as a being of such power was scary. Very rarely had Mack been in a situation where he was as powerless as this. He drained the last of his his egg nog and slowly stood up and made his way through the tables toward the beckoning figure, making sure to stay firmly out of arm reach. Last time he got this close, he was spiked and his mind was taken over. “Well hello there voidus. I believe that you have something for me?"
-
"Fine, then drop the spiked cookies. If I'm right, the man I'm meeting later today should have some. Thank you for the Egg Nog though," As he finished saying that, the teenager who prepared his drink disappeared in a flash of light. Hmm, wonder who’s attacking the waystop. TUBA must be under attack. Good riddance. I Wonder what that waystop is. I’ll check it out eventually. He glanced at the shadow in the corner, seeing if it was who he thought it was.

Suddenly, the lookout mimes at the local mime branch start freaking out and signing to their brethren to get over there. Even after 16 years, they still worked at peak efficiency. A team of mimes mimed driving a car to the way stop where they began to repair the fourth wall.
