  1. If you guys don't mind, I would like to slide into this reboot. Just a quick thing on location, I could go either way. I think that locating it on Europe could provide some interesting dynamics in terms of nationalism/history that america didn't have just because of its size and relatively recent formation. On the other hand, going to Canada would be cool, and convenient for certain people. I would have to make a new epic either way, so I don't really care.
  2. I uh didn't want to reveal this, but it was actually me paying the DA using the GB's money to get free food for the GB's and more money for the DA. A mutually beneficial deal, and the deal was made with the GB's not me, so when I left it didn't transfer with me.
  3. Quick question, what would define inside of his body? Could he transmute piercings? EDIT: and by moving it, what do you mean. Could he make it levitate?
  4. We need you guys to sort out who is the real ghost-bloods quickly, because we were prepaid for a couple of years of catering, but with two groups, we have no idea who gets the baked goods.
  5. Aww... I stop posting up here for a little bit and everything falls apart. Everyone has forgotten their manners! @Ripheus23 Allow me to formally welcome you to the shard with a free cookie and a rep point! I hope you enjoy your time here.
  6. Mac pulled out a spike and proceeded to hammer apart the 4th wall, spiking away its abilities and proceeded to tell lopen that he was trying to make some character development, though if someone wanted to drag him into a plot, it wouldn't hurt. He then called the mimes to fix the wall.
  7. Mac woke up not in control of his body. He didn't know how he got here, or what was happening, or who was in control of his body. It was like he was in the back seat. So he did the natural thing. He calmly and methodologically went through the lists of suspects before asking Mack: Whats happening? Mack, is this you? Yes, after you tried to drown your sorrows by consuming a near lethal amount of cookies, I decided to take control. I'm surprised that you are taking this so well. What did you expect me to do? Run around screaming? I'm not a child. Now give me back the body. What? No. Why would I do that? Because I'm better at running it then you are, now give it BACK! With that last word, Mac pushed, and got in control of his body again. Good. Now he needed to figure out how to keep Mack from getting back into control. Why did I try to drown himself in cookies in the first place? Its not like me, to do something that would cause me to lose control. I believe that you had just found out that technically, you had died a while ago. Ohh, yeah. Forgot about that. That will need some fixing. But in order to do that, I need to make sure that I am in control. Where was the nearest metal mind? Probably my office. He turned off of the main street in the alley village, and walked into a Dark Alley, which teleported him to his office. He quickly grabbed and drained a metalmind with his memories in it, then left to go search out a way that he could be helped.
  8. I forgot to mention that we have a new member, though he hasn't gone through the standard entrance path, @EddyJ joined up during the RP. Welcome to the alleys!
  9. I would like to announce the two newest craftsmen. Kidpen and Kaj. I am also pleased to announce the partnership with ferujewls, you can now purchase any of there items at our locations.
  10. Mac sat back. This wasn't good, he had just checked the library and the only thing that could be explaining his recent memory loss was the copper decay of his memories. Storms, Mack, how good is your memory? All right, I guess. Not perfect, but I tend to remember a lot more then other people. That must be it. It was well known that the better your memory, the slower the decay. For an Elantrian, or another person who has devoted their entire lives to memorizing stuff, this decay would be very slow, almost imperceptible. Now that he knew the problem, he knew what he needed to do to fix it. Either transfer his memories to someone with perfect memory, or keep on using copies of his memory until he could. Mac moved over to the safe and grabbed a spare coppermind out of it. He might as well use one right now so he would know when his memories were fully developed. He started to drain the metalmind, but instead of getting a small kernel of new memory here or there, like he expected, he was greeted with a flood of small facts and tiny memories that he had forgotten. The memory loss had stolen more of his memories then he thought. He sat down to digest the news, stunned by the sudden flood of information that he had gained. This was more dire then he thought. He couldn't be making this many copperminds with his memories on them, it wasn't sustainable in the long run. Why would I do this? he asked himself. He thought back to the moments when he had discoverd . He thought he had found a way to escape death, to beat the vice that gripped all living things. But he had failed. He should have seen it from the beginning. Transferring his memories just transferred his experiences. Not his spiritual aspect. The only reason that he felt alive was because Mack's mind was interpreting them as two separate beings. He had already died, this was just a pale imitation remaining.
  11. Ok, just pm me with the information about which guilds you are a part of and I will let you join.
  12. We will give out stuff for a price, but we won't be keeping track of how much money we have. The price of things will solely be a narrative device.
  13. Meanwhile back in the alleys, Mac was encountering a serious problem. He couldn't remember where he stuck his cookies. He had ordered a case of cookies a few years ago, and stuck it in the alleys somewhere. Usually this wouldn't be an issue, It would be easy to find out where he left them through a variety of methods. But this was an issue, because he had never forgotten anything. Ever. His perfect memory was how he had avoided the decay of his memories with the copper minds. It allowed him to change bodies as much as he liked, without issue. Just spike the new person with F-copper, and he would involuntarily tap the copperminds. But now, if he really was forgetting things, there were two possibilities. Either Mack's body was responsible for being the reason that he had forgotten stuff, or the copper mind decay was happening. This was going to need more investigation, otherwise Mac could pass into the beyond. He was well aware that the only reason he appeared alive was because his entire life's experiences overwhelmed Mack, but if that balance tipped, then he would be in trouble. This was going to need some looking into.
  14. I don't know. I have swung back around on this, I think that having a currency system is just needlessly complex, and poses unnecessary rules/restrictions. In addition, not many guilds would use it to survive/do anything. The Payoff, I think, isn't worth the effort needed to maintain/create it.
  15. That would be interesting. How would you determine second place? Just by second to last house to die?
  16. That was a fun game! Good job for house Elariel. I'm sad that tekiel didn't win. We had the game in the bag, but we blew it.
  17. "Storm it!" Mac spun around, on the surface of the planet, confused at Lopens sudden voice. Had... had... had he ascended? Mac tested his wand, and found that his wand still worked, the Dor was still there, so lopen hadn't ascended. What had happened?
