Nope, they should insert themselves automatically into your digestive tract in the relevant bind points. There wont be any interference.

I think I mentioned it in the og post. Characters can study items out and learn about them and learn to control them. Also if they add anything to the alleyverse, then they can control that. So you can create things and if they get picked up as a concept, then good for you, your characters can use alleymatics. Like my guess is @Ark1002 can manipulate the boundless realms far beyond what normal characters can, because he created them.

Mac groans and stands up. He stretches and walks around, bored. He thinks back to all the good times he had as a member of the DA. All the power and majesty that he had. Retirement was boring. No fun, no pizzazz. He needed to recapture that feel, the power of yelling an Order 42 and having it obeyed instantly. What could he do? AHA! He got it! What this place needed was an Order 77, those were always fun. There hadn't been one of those in 16 years! Pulling out a spanreed, he sent a message to @LopenTheTwoArmedHerdazian, "Hey, you wanna pull another order 77? This era needs a wedding."

After reading her bio, I think I can confidently say that they might be the worst guild for Saraha to join. Heck, even the DA is better because we don't set out to kill people, and we try to preserve them for more spirit web samples. As an aside, I have another NCP.

Yes Voidus does indeed have this ability. Yes, Anyone can do this for anything they create in the alleys, if they knew that they could. Unfortunately no one knows about the specifics of this except for Mac and Voidus and maybe lopen. Ive kept this close to the chest because I didn't want this to be RP breaking, and I wanted some kind of benefit for founders and/or people who made stuff in the alleyverse. I figured that anyone who takes the time to create something major and add it to the alleyverse, deserves some kind of boost to power and would be invested enough in the alleyverse to not troll and be RP breaking with its OP'ness.

Thank you for you your response. I would say that this is on the right track, but a little off. At least to my view of what alleymatics was/is. Those who know alleymatics can communicate their ideas to the energy of an object. The reason that knowing the object is so important is because it allows you to communicate with that object. I would say that if they are creating original matter that is alleyverse specific, then they could control it, but if they are creating something general, like allomatic metals or dirt or rock, then they couldn't use alleymatics on it. I agree with the rest of that post though.

This is the official definition that Me and voidus agree should be used for Alleymatics. Its what I've been using sense April, and I talked with Voidus and he said it should be used as the official system. Please don't Metaplay with this. If your characters wouldn't know about alleymatics, they cant use it. I'm only putting this out here so that no ones confused when it does get used. If your characters would know about it, then they can use use it, but its pretty guarded information that's known to like 2 or three people. (Voidus and Mac, and maybe Lopen).

Mac steped out of the corner, his conversation with Alum having been extremely productive. He hopefully had misled another person seeking the power of alleymatics, though that one was smart. He could possibly figure it out, even with the misinformation that was given to him. Oh well. He was retired, it didn't matter to him. Stepping back into the shadows, he carefully made his way toward the location of the duel. Despite his confidence that no one would recognize him, there still were quite a few spiked people around. It wouldn't do to have them notice his presence. Nope, it wouldn't do at all. He approached the duel as the musicians started playing. At least these guys have a good sense of drama. WHAT?!?!? WHY IS SOMEONE WEARING A SUIT! THATS MY THING GOSH DANG IT! He had instinctively drawn in the one power and begun weaving balefire when he stopped himself. Nope, cant wipe people from existence, thats a nono. They can't even be healed from that. Macthorstenson would not like that godmodding. Also, maybe I set a trend, with people wearing suits, yeah that's it. I started a trend. That's not someone competing with me trying to steal my thunder, no. Mac sat back and watched the duels progress, as one guy got clobbered. resisting the ever present urge to wipe this entire plane from existence. At the nearby mime compound, the mimes mobilized, rushing to the Ghostblood ball to fix the fourth wall. When they arrived, Mac showed them the spot, and they proceeded to mime it being fixed. Mack walked along the edge of the gardens, watching the duel carefully. He didn't care who won, or what the outcome was, but he wanted to be far away from Mac as he talked to Alum. It was never a good idea to be near him when he was teaching people things. Glancing over the crowd, he spotted Mac guiding a bunch of mimes to a hole in the fourth wall. Ok, so we are still alive, that's good. Mac caught his eye and gave a little nod. So we head to the alley now, ok. Mack watched Mac as he walked to a alley in between two buildings, and disappeared after crossing the threshold. Turning around, Mac walked to the edge of the garden, carefully pulling off his robe, and putting up his helmet. He triggered the Aon Ehe's on his palms and feet, and slowly rose into the sky, like a rocket taking off. I need to fix these, the accelerations too slow. Mac's Alley Flying through the sky, Mack located the two buildings sitting in the deserted wasteland of the alleyverse. One was some sort of restaurant, the other a inn. They got around 2 or three customers a year because they were literally in the middle of nowhere. Placed to create an alley far enough away that no one knew about it, and that you couldn't reach it with the other alleys, even with their space warping powers, unless you were Mac and could use alleymatics. Lowering himself softly to the ground, he walked through the dust until he reached the short alley in between the two buildings. As soon as he entered it, the sky became dark, and the alley grew wider and longer. Doubling, no tripling in size. This was Mac's base of operations. Where he sat around and did nothing for most of his days, and it showed. It was less of an alley, and more of a luxury penthouse. There was a Bar, a Pool, a lot of couches and tons of other luxuries that Mack had no idea how Mac had gotten. Mac himself was talking to the bartender, about eggnog shipments or something. Turning to face Mack he greeted him. "Hello Mack! Welcome to mi casa! Anyways, your apprentice Alum now has a head full of misinformation about alleymatics. I think I told 'em something about needing to be invested by voidus, though it didn't look like they are buying it. They are very smart, good catch." Mack breathed a sigh of relief. Nobody needed to know about alleymatics. The less people who had that power the better. "Thats good. What have you heard about the plan?" "No one knows about me, except for Alum but they don't know that I'm Mac. They only know about me as the Man in the cream Suit. So thats good. There was something said about an army approaching the Alleycity, but honestly I don't care if that place is destroyed. The DA will survive and thrive as always. They would need to wipe out the multiverse to make any noticeable setback to slow sales even slightly. Besides that, nothing much." "So you brought me away from that party to say like three sentences. Really?" "Yes." Mac said grinning. "Screw you. Im not heading back there. Its like a 2 hour flight!" "Oh well, your loss. I'll meet you later." "Fine." Mack turned around and walked out of the alley, tapping his AonTia to take him to the Craftsmen base. Mac turned around and grabbed his hat off of the hat rack, then using alleymatics, warped back to the party and sat in the stands to watch the duel progress.

I do actually have a system lined up for what alleymatics does that I’ve been using since like April. The alleyspren doesn’t involve that.

A special honorblade? Likely no chance at all. Due to the mechanisms and how the honorblades came to be. A shardblade? I think that that’s more than likely.

In the aftermath of the fight, Mac still sat, puzzled by the appearance of the thing. The ghostbloods weren't that incompetent, They were incompetent, but not that incompetent. Looking at the GB in charge, he saw him give a little smile. So it was purposeful, interesting. Why would they invite everyone to a ball, then unleash a monster? Well, if you throw a ball and invite possible enemies, then you invited them to get information, about plans and stuff, then everything that happens is to get more information. I wouldn't be surprised if the private rooms are being watched, and the food that everyone's taking is being tracked. They probably released to monster so that we could fight it, and they could watch us fight it. And why do that, unless they want to have that information on hand? and soon? Because people's fighting styles change with time. The GB's are definitely planning something again. Ooh, I do love political intrigue. Mac walked over to Mack, who was taking his armor out of defense mode, and whispered in his ear: "Everything you do is being watched, don't talk to me anymore. Meet me in the alley." With that, Mac continued to enjoy himself, invisible to any heathens without spikes.

The Longest Thread (Misadventures)

In addition to the whisky that was coming down, it also began to rain brandy. Uncle Brandy to be precise. We didn't kill him off right? Well, if we did he came back, formed from the matter he first came from.- 111830 replies

Mack heard the ground rumble, and jumped up and ran to the side of the room, tapping his chest which closed is helmet, and opened a compartment exposing an Aon edo that began to glow, creating a shield around his armor. As he turned around he saw the monster burst from the ground. Studying it, he realized that it looked like ti was made of ropes. So it wasn't sentient, that was good. Mack relaxed a little and moved along the wall edging away from the scene. His Edo could protect him from any physical damage that the monster could cause, but getting slammed into still wasn't fun. Mac sat idly watching the chaos ensue from the CR, trying to figure out where this monster came from. The DA didn't make it, that was for sure. Same with the craftsmen. And the liebrary just didn't do stuff like that. Same with the CoC and the Minor Guilds. That left TUBA and the GB's. TUBA didn't seem this devious or evil to create something that could get loose like that. So it was probably the GB's. Inwardly he groaned. Even though 16 years had passed, they were still trying to make power grab? Why else would they make something like this? Deciding that he didn't want to show everyone he was there, he didn't draw on the one power. He also didn't want to risk removing the entire ballroom from the Alleys with Alleymatics, he wasn't as precise as he used to be, being retired and all. So he also just moved off to the side.

What does featuring it do?

No! They’ve seen through our ploy!

Hey guys, should we make some sort of tagging system to differentiate when things are? Because we have the WoD, waystop, and the gb ball, all at different times. Do you guys think this will become more of an issue? Or will It be alright?

Mack flew through the sky in his Mk. 4 suit, fire streaming or behind him, until he could see the party house. Moving his hand jets, he slowed down and set himself down in front of the door, where he dismissed his helmet, pulled his black and gold robe out of his pack. This one was specially tailored so he could wear it on top of his suit. Throwing it over his shoulders, he walked in. ”Mack! Master Craftsman, noble in the court of Newcago, and former DA dep-” With a glare, Mack cut the man off. He was not and never was a department head in the DA. That had to remain true for the plan to work. How did that even get on the card? Mack paced across the floor, his metal boots clinging against the tile floor. “Can I see my card?” He asked the attendant. When he saw it, he saw a sticky note on the bottom with, DA department head, written on it. “I didn’t stick that there, could you uh take that off? Thank you.” ”Of course, sorry sir. Just before you arrived a Man in a Cream Suit showed up and said you wanted this on your card, said he was a messanger from you.” Macks eyes widened, Mac? Here? That guy was an idiot! Anyone with a spike in them could see him! What if someone recognized him? He cast his eyes around the room until he found him next to the root beer bar with a martini glass full of it. He saw Mack, and started laughing. ”Did you like my prank?” He said as Mack approached him. ”No you slontze! I can’t have any official ties to the DA if our plans gonna work! And your nerve in coming here! Showing up to a ball thrown by your former guild mates? Honestly! Anyone with a spike could see you!” He hissed. ”Ahh, don’t worry about it! I’m retired, nobody has seen me in at least 17 years! The only person here who could blow my cover would be lopen, but he’s not here so we are good! Ooh look, Devan in his Terri’s robes, I want to watch this. You go have fun.” Rolling his eyes, Mack went to the egg nog bar, his aluminum fleet clanging every step of the way, and drew himself a large glass, nodding to Alum on his way over. I need to fix my feet, he thought.

I will have to disagree here, the amount of violence that goes on in this world is vastly different to that which goes on in the alleyverse. For a quick comparison, in the alleyverse, nearly every single person you pass on the street has the ability to kill you easily. We also don’t have a policing force to take care of stuff like that or other random violence. There is an organization of assassins that exists and there is no public outrage at their existence. We also have a military force occupying the alley city, and had a major world changing war like 16 years ago. I think that in the alleyverse, death/ violence is a whole lot more common and accepted then in earth. I think that the idea that there is a waver of death that people would sign is a good one, but I feel like it would be implicitly accepted, like a "By signing up for these duels you assume responsibilty for what happens." I will also have to disagree on this (Well, the first part). There is a well documented opposition to the DA, nobody really likes them. A lot of the history of the alleyverse, (from even before the sub forum) has been characterized by people fighting the DA. For some if not many, the superstition surrounding us would make some rather be dead then have us mess with their soul. If you think about it, it makes sense. We are essentially a group of drug dealers/criminals that people tolerate because we created the universe. I agree that it would alleviate the whole dying permanently thing, but there really is no guarantee that the DA returns your soul to your body, or even gives it back to you. It does add a different kind of set back, instead of flat out death. Which some may like, or some may not.
-
I’m not so sure, this is the very first 2v2 battle in the alleyverse. In universe, people probably don’t know what is going to happen if one person drops dead, And they came to this game expecting some variation of that base rule. In addition, this is a very different crowd then the one that was attending the initial duels, it’s 16 years later and all a lot of people remember are the stories that others told them. It’s possible that there is a social uproar about duels with real risk of death. Another possible option is that their morals aren’t dubious per say, but that death is an expected part of life here. With the amount of fighting that goes on by people in the alleyverse, I wouldn’t be surprised if death was more accepted. Dubious implies that they are blood thirsty here, I wouldn’t call this that. Finally, there’s always the option of the DA taking the CS’s of people and using an essence spike to return them to a body, as a possible consequence.

Mack would like to open 500 acounts for miscellaneous craftsmen guilds in different worlds that are indeed separate guilds from the main craftsmen one. In advance he agrees to the terms and conditions.

Actually tho, In the magic system that we built for the church of the stick, one of the powers is creating fire to burn sticks.
