Looks good, compounding works out to about 100 and the skills are 60. The weaknesses cancel that out. I cant say when I’ll Be Abel to add that to the list, bit its approved.

During Lusk’s eloquent speech one of the DA scientists ran into the room with a newly created spike displayed prominently in his throat. Motioning to two other people, he steadied himself. The two assistants stood behind him steadying him. Then, on the count of three, he blew a raspberry so loud and powerful that the room shook. The sheer force of the raspberry blew him and his companions over backwards, slamming them into the back wall as if they had been hit with a semi. The volume of the raspberry caused him and his companions to go deaf, but it was alright. They were deaf in the name of SCIENCE! Upon the completion of the raspberry to end all raspberries, the DA contingent burst into applause and cheers, for science had been advanced by leaps and bounds today. In addition, several members of the public were looking pretty impressed by the raspberry.

Hello everyone! I hope this announcement is a fair bit less controversial then the last one, but we are redoing the Guild census. Due to a rise in new (Possibly) great guilds, we just want to make sure that everything is sorted out the way it should be. The way it’s going to work is we will ask all guild leaders to PM an AV mod, preferably not voidus cuz he’s not going to be online for a while, with a list of all the People who are going to be counted as a member of their guild. Guild members should contact guild leaders about which guild they want to be counted for. If someone’s name is listed twice we will talk to that person, or ask the guild leader to talk to that person to clarify the issue. If your name doesn’t appear at all then we won’t bother you about it. Any guild that has 5 active* members will be designated a great guild. Any guild that does not, will be a regular guild. If you can produce two active members then you get a vote in the Republic. -Alleyverse Mod Team *Activity will be determined on a case by case basis. Generally speaking, we will count people if we know that it is a temporary inactivity, but

I will say that I wouldn't expect too much to happen soon. It will probably take most of Era three for the change to happen, and because Voidus is the most experienced web developer among the mod team he is spearheading that part of it. He isn't going to be online for a little bit, but we will try to post regular updates.
-
Yep. They are. We have been looking into the possibilities for the last little bit and are still scoping out everything. We aren't sure exactly what's going to happen in terms of the 17thshard admins and what they will say, but rest assured that we are looking into it. Usually we wouldn't have made a post and asked about this until much later in the process, but there seemed to be a lot of momentum around it and we didn't want to squash that momentum. So now we are waiting on some other factors, we will keep you guys updated.

People you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley
MacThorstenson replied to Voidus's topic in The Alleyverse
True. It depends on how much of a spirit web you can contain in a single spike. I think the situation is similar to that of elantrians, where brandon says that one could spike more from an elantrian than from other beings. You could probably spike a lot from a Siah Aimian, but putting it all into one spike would be problematic. -

You should be able too. Actually doing so in practice would be difficult because we don't know how Siah Aimians have their powers, but it should be possible. -

He made a status update and posted something about it on the PM. Essentially he can't devote this much time to the shard, he spent too much time on it, so he is cutting it out of his life.

People you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley
MacThorstenson replied to Voidus's topic in The Alleyverse
Mac held the sphere, and focused on the stormlight. He imagined the biggest difficulty would be being able to conceptualize the investiture as an object, something that could be manipulated, but stormlight was easy. In his mind it had always been similar to fog or mist. That could easily be voidmade. With that settled he moved onto the more difficult aspect, losing control to force it out of this plane of existence. He looked at the glowing sphere, specifically the stormlight leaking off of it. He thought of how this could be used to stop him. A radiant could surgebind with this, use it for power that Mac wouldn't have. He let the fear fill him, the fear of being beaten. It wasn't as strong as it used to be, but there was some. He thought about it more. He wasn't scared of the stormlight, that wasn't an issue. He was mad at it. It could be used to stop him, force him out of his way. And nothing should be able to stop Mac. Nothing could stop Mac. But what about the night next to the Worldspike? His concentration wavered, he was stopped then, but he was supposed to be stopped. Voidus could easily beat him, it wasn't like a little stormlight. When he learned how to do this, to force the stormlight to not exist, it wouldn't be able to stop him. When the stormlight was gone, then he would be safe. He would be able to continue. But what if I fail? The unwanted thought snuck into his mind like an unspiked cookie at a party. No, I can do this. Once this is gone, it won't be able to hurt me. I will not fail, it's impossible for me to fail. This stormlight could stop me, a demigod. Nothing can be allowed to exist that can stop me. With that thought he refocused on the wispy stormlight, drifting away from the sphere. He focused into the sphere, on the stormlight contained in it, and concentrated his hatred at it. Nothing could could exist that could stop him. He forced the stormlight into the void with a cold determination. Into that emptiness where nothing exists. A black spot appeared, and the white light rushed toward it, disappearing rapidly. Nothing can stop me. Mac breathed a sigh, calming himself down. It felt like he went overboard, using way too much power to get rid of the stormlight. "That was actually not as difficult. As I was expecting. Much easier than getting rid of the ball bearing." -

Are you left handed?
-
I like this. I propose we make two sub-groups. The first is the Left handers Inquisition. Nobody will see us coming. They will search the ranks for spies. Then we found the Order of left handers. These will be our Knights leading the Holy Crusade against the Right handers and all that they stand for.
-
The question remains, how do we do this?
-
My left handed friends, I think that we are clearly the best club on the shard, and that others should be forced to acknowledge our greatness. What say ye?

How do his weaknesses affect his assassination abilities, his ranges weapons abilities, and his running? The lack of knowing how to use breaths is not a weakness, there are enough people in the alleycity with breath that it would take serious effort to avoid learning how to use them. Assuming that the lerasium spike gives him all the abilities of a different person (as in their stregnth, mental attributes, etc), it will depend on who he spiked. Assuming he was average in all areas I will use the average scores for getting separate iron, zinc, copper, and a lot of tin spikes. 35+30+15+25+20+10+30+25= 190. So we have, in terms of magic points: 150 for the breaths 190 for the lerasium X depending on the metalminds. I would note that throwing daggers as hemalurgic spikes are nearly useless. The precision of hemalurgy requires that you have a relatively still situation in which the spiking takes place, and that the spike needs to be inserted at a certain angle. It's possible that someone could maybe use bullets, as they tend to hold a trajectory, but a throwing knife, due to the way it enters the body, would nearly never result in a bind point being hit. The skills are 60 and 80 respectively. this puts him at More than 340M points and 140 skill points. I will need to know more about the weaknesses in order to rank them properly. If he is missing an arm, yet can function at full capacity despite it, the weakness is worth nothing. Same with the eye or the mental stuff.

Just want to clarify this, the forum that is currently up under the domain alleyverse.com is not the forum we will be using. It may be a base for what is eventually our new site, but right now it is not, and as of now we have no plans to transfer over to that site.
