  1. Yeah, I think this is probably a good case of Occam’s Razor. The simplest solution is almost always the right one. Why would HH even make up the whole random number thing just to vote on Stink? What would that serve him?
  2. I mean, I agree with you about the system being weighted more towards players in the center, but it is technically possible that HH ended up with 3 numbers that were all divisible by 3 by random chance alone.
  3. I don’t actually think Aman is an elim, I was just voting on him as a joke. I don’t particularly think Venture is an elim, and I’m kind of unsure about Elandera, so I’m gonna vote on her to get the chance that we don’t lynch someone I think is village and maybe lynch an elim since I’m unsure of Elan’s alignment.
  4. I honestly don’t know what I meant. In view doesn’t sound quite right, and I can’t think of another way to say what I thought in lieu meant. Also, Striker, Aman @Amanuensis I feel really good about your last post. I don’t have time to explain, but tag me and I’ll do it when I have time later.
  5. Amanuensis Seriously though, I voted on you as an elim in the one elim game I was in. I’d hardly say that’s a pattern of my behavior as an elim. Also, I do agree that it’s more helpful for the village if villagers try to be like villagers...but also it’s kinda fun to be erratic.
  6. I had a very crappy day yesterday, and was only able to just glance at this throughout the day. I was not mentally well enough to actually do any analysis or vote or anything. But I’m feeling a lot better today. In lieu of that, I will be voting on Striker.
  7. I mean, that’s fair. I’ve been tending to play more chaotically too lately, so it’d be kinda hypocritical of me to lynch you for it. If anything, I need to step up my game so I can get lynched D1 again. Don’t wanna break my streak now. Elbereth
  8. El, I can’t remember the last time we played, but I don’t remember you being this....weird in games. Drake Elbereth
  9. I did say I was voting on Drake because I suspected him more than El. (also, please ignore the fact I’m still awake, I can’t fall sleep )
  10. Sorry, would’ve made a post sooner, but all of a sudden two friends started having crises, so I had to talk with them for a bit. Anyway, Drake. Something about the way you phrased your comment about El and Araris’s votes sounded off. I wouldn’t be surprised if all three of you were elims. I suspect Araris the least though, because poke votes are his thing, then El, because I don’t remember El being one to jump on votes like this, and then I suspect you the most because your post feels off to me. Anyway, I’ll probably wake up and wonder what I was thinking when I wrote this post, but my vote’s staying on Drake for now.
  11. @Fifth Scholar Okay, first, I think you took my proposal a little too seriously. While I do think it would be interesting to see what would happen if we elected the entire Fellowship D1, it is highly unlikely we would be able to even get enough people (14 to be exact) to even agree on 7 people to vote for, and that’s just ignoring the fact that the elims would be able to cause chaos and do some vote shenanigans. My real point of asking people to say who they’d want in the Fellowship was so that we could see who people are trusting and who they aren’t. It should be more obvious if one or two players repeatedly show up in only a few players’ lists. Second, the only (EDIT: main) reason I’m voting on myself for now is because of RP reasons. I know my tendencies as a player, and I know how people react to my play style, so I don’t legitimately think I’ll be elected. But, by putting myself on my list, I know that at least one of the seven members of the Fellowship would be on my side. I’m curious why you don’t think it’d be useful right now.
  12. Okay, I’ve been thinking. And I’m curious how many people would be willing to choose 7 people we want elected to the Fellowship this cycle and getting two people to vote on each of them. If we all chose our 7 people we’d want elected, it’d be interesting to see who gets chosen. Here would be my list: Striker Kasimir Elandera Wonko Fifth Scar Burnt
  13. The man stood at the edge of the room, listening as its occupants debated about who should take some ring to some mountain. He felt like he should care more about this mission, but he couldn’t remember how he’d gotten here. Or who he was for that matter. Some of the people there were like him, but then there were some that were...very short. He thought they were dwarves, based on the conversations he’d heard so far. Then there were those with the pointy ears. He wasn’t sure what those were, but they seemed to find themselves very important. As the debates went on, he learned that this ring they were talking about tempted whoever carried it. And he realized something. He was meant to carry the ring. Walking to the center of the room, he began to speak in a loud, booming voice. “I don’t know who any of you are. I don’t know where we are, where this mountain is, or who Sauron is. But I do know one thing.” He paused for dramatic effect as people began to turn towards him. “This ring tempts those who carry it, yes? So, if I cannot remember anything, I should have nothing for the ring to tempt me into using its power for. Therefore, I am probably the single most qualified person in this room to carry it. Therefore, I propose that I, the Striker, should carry it.”
  14. The order that interests me the most from an Ideal and Surges standpoint are the Willshapers. However, if I'm being honest with myself, I would definitely fit in the Lightweavers more. I tend to lie to myself about a lot of things, and I feel like I'd attract so many Cryptics.
  15. Oh I should probably mention that Striker has very severe amnesia. He has no idea how he got here, who he is, or what an elf is.
  16. So, I’m gonna sign up as Striker, a bootleg version of Strider......whoever that is. Everyone, be aware, I haven’t read or watched LotR, so this should be interesting for me.
  17. I don’t understand like 75% of the rules, but I’m signing up anyway. Also, I’ll go ahead and sign up as Nalakor. Go ahead and do your worst, @Fifth Scholar
  18. I mean, I would...but I’ve never read or watched LotR, so I don’t know if I’d enjoy it.
  19. I do need to figure out little things that make a character who they are. I’ll admit that I never did spend time trying to figure out who Roashina was, and I only had enough time to do analysis when I was able to get on and post. I’m gonna try harder to RP in the next games I play in.
  20. I’ll definitely be playing the next game. The question is whether or not I’ll have mercy on you. Anyway, despite how early I got lynched in part b and how stupid I was in part a, this game was pretty fun. The RP was all really great, the mechanics were really fun, and it was great talking with Wilson and everyone else in the village dead doc. Honestly, I’m kinda glad I broke the first run of the game. Not only did that let Rae and Wilson join in, both of which were amazing in this game, but I also got a pretty great title out of it. @Kasimir @Haelbarde Thank you so much for running this game! @Arraenae I definitely didn’t realize you were the EO. You played really well! Also, I still can’t get over how good your RP was. You too, @Elbereth If there was one thing I’d change, it’d be making a character I could RP better.
  21. @Arraenae @Elandera @Alvron @Burnt Spaghetti What are you guys doing? Why are you voting on someone who is so obviously not the Spy? Did you not see my clearly real ID????
  22. @little wilson We can’t both be the Spy, and my ID clearly says I’m the real Spy.
  23. I mean, we can even things out. I’m working on an insane role madness Scadrial game that I might be running after the next LG. It’s probably gonna be so broken, you could break the game just by signing up.
