  1. Good job everyone! This game was really fun, and I’m surprised at how well I did this game. This was definitely my best game as a villager, even if Fifth had me fooled until near the end. I wish I’d RP’d more, but it was hard to just find the time to read the thread and respond in PMs as it was. Anyway, thank you @Elbereth for running this amazing game!!!
  2. For what it’s worth, I’m not 100% sure you’re an elim. We won’t know until the game’s over. But I feel pretty confident that you and Wonko are elims. (I’ll probably be wrong about one of you, but I’m not sure which one, and I’m not willing to vote for either of you). (Also, I’m sorry about the way my last post sounded. I definitely didn’t mean for it to sound so harsh). That makes sense about the inactive thing. I still don’t trust you because I very much don’t trust Wonko. I mean, I was saying that if someone who’s been basically completely inactive this entire game came and voted on Wonko...I’d think that’s a little weird.
  3. This post doesn’t surprise me at all. If anything it just confirms for me that I was wrong to trust you earlier. I’d begun suspecting you last cycle when Kas pointed out (can’t remember if it was in a PM or in the thread) that you consistently tried to get us to focus on inactives...yet didn’t vote for any most of the time. And not just that, but if you did get us to vote on an inactive, we would have no real clues about their alignment. Plus it distracts us from focusing on players who actually have content that can be analyzed. I can’t wait to see who the 2-3 other players that come out of the woodwork to vote for Wonko are.
  4. @Elbereth I wasn’t actually checking the thread. I just had it open on my phone and it was the first thing that popped up while I was practicing a bit ago. Also, I’m not sure where I stand on anything. Mostly because I don’t remember anything. But, based on Aman and El’s arguments, I think I agree with El more.
  5. I’m...a little disappointed that Kas didn’t keep the vote tied at least. I’m glad I was right about him being village though. @Kasimir For what it’s worth, I removed my vote from you because I still had my worries about whether or not you were village, and figured my own lynch would be more likely to occur if yours had less votes. I didn’t think you’d remove your vote from me after I went to sleep. I did have a feeling that the lynch was gonna change while I was sleeping, just didn’t predict you’d be the one to change it. Anyway, I still think I’m our best shot at this point. I’ve had the best voting record in the game so far, I think. I don’t remember voting on anyone who has not already been confirmed village. I guess I could be doing that as an elim who already knows who’s village and who’s not, but why would I allow 2 villagers to get elected in a row like this? The elims are at a severe disadvantage at this point. They need to elect 3 elims in a row. If we elect one villager at any point, we win. Bard just voted for me, so that’s a good start. At this point, I think the only other person I’d feel safe electing would be him. If people don’t agree that I should be elected, my vote will go to him.
  6. I lost a whole lot of a post that I spent a lot of time on. Let's see how much I can remember. I would just like to say that it's a lot easier to be reactive when you don't have much time to spend reading and analyzing the game. I ended up being a lot busier during this game than I expected, and that's definitely impacted my ability to do analysis. I'll admit though, I have had some large chunks of free time I could've spent on analyzing...but I've usually chosen to just spend some time doing fun things like scrolling through Twitter or watching pointless YouTube videos. Anyway, here's basically my thoughts after rereading everything that's happened: 1. Straw: Mildly annoyed, but their recent post makes me feel a little bit better about them. Not enough to elect them right now, but I'd maybe think about electing them if Kas or Fifth or 2. Wonko (or any combos of those 3) are elims (assuming we don't elect me). 3. Fifth Scholar: I've generally trusted him so far, and that remains the same. 4. Coda: Felt a little off, wouldn't recommend electing them 5. Kasimir: Has felt very villager-y in our PMs, but I'm not blind to the possibility that he's been pocketing me. 6. Xinoehp512: Has he even posted? 7. Wonko: I really don't want him elected. I trust Bard more than I originally did, but Wonko still felt off to me while I was doing my reread. If Kas and Fifth are elims, then I'd bet Wonko isn't though. 8. Pejidot: She hasn't really done much to make me suspect or trust her. 9. Burnt Spaghetti: I've been getting pretty neutral vibes from her so far, with some villager-y vibes here and there. Probably wouldn't elect her though. 10. Aragorn: I dunno. 11. StrikerEZ: Obviously village. 12. GoWibble: They haven't given me any reason to not suspect them after their vote on Stink. 14. Young Bard: Starting to trust him a lot more now than I originally did. Our recent PMs have me trusting me more than I did before, and I could see a scenario where he chose to vote Stink in a panic when he realized the cycle was almost over and he didn't want anyone else who might've been elected if it'd stayed a tie getting elected. I really need to sleep, so this is either gonna be my last post of the game seeing as I'm still in the lead to get elected (I think), or I'll wake up and have to actually continue to pay attention to this game.
  7. @Kasimir That all makes sense. I would stick around and talk a bit more, but seeing as no one else appears to be getting on anytime soon and I really should already be asleep, I think I’m gonna head out for the night (or I guess technically morning at this point ).
  8. ....dude I get what you said, but for a second my tired little brain was blown when you said it doesn’t take into account the strength of the trusts. XD Is what your saying that I’m basically in the middle of everyone’s trusts, with you and Wonko being on the opposite ends (either strongly yes or strongly no), which therefore cancels out and puts me in the lead?
  9. @Kasimir I’ve already told you this, but that post is very impressive. I don’t have the time or mental capacity to truly analyze it right now (I probably should’ve been asleep an hour ago), but I do want to ask you one thing. I can understand why you put me and you as compromise candidates. But I’m not sure why you put Wonko in there too. Of cluster 2, only Fifth trusts Wonko, while 3 of cluster 1 trusts him. For me and you, all members of both clusters trust us at least a little bit. Nevermind, misread who trusted who. I can see why you picked the three of us as the most trusted. I will support a lynch on me, but if other people would rather lynch Kas instead, I’d be willing to vote for him. For now though, I’ll retract my vote on him: Kasimir
  10. I’d just like to say that, while I do find what @Straw is doing slightly annoying at this stage in the game, I still think he has every right to do it if he pleases. And for what it’s worth, I almost considered being as meme-y as he’s been in this game so far. It was only once I actually started analyzing things and PMing that I actually got really invested in getting the right people elected.
  11. I’m not gonna lie, I haven’t really been focusing on this game very much so far. I need to go back through and reread things so I can get a sense of what is even going on. Why do people suspect Drake?
  12. For what it’s worth, I’ve extended that trust to you as well. Just, I trust Kas slightly more than I trust you (mostly because of interactions in our PMs [EDIT: to clarify, I meant my PMs with Kas]). For what it’s worth, at least 40% of the reason why I voted on Aman was because I was afraid he was playing us again and was actually an elim. In that case, I’d want to get him out of the game sooner rather than later so he can’t mislead us any more than necessary. The other 60% was that something about his posts genuinely did give me a villager vibe. It felt more real than his normal silver tongue stuff, so I was willing to take the risk and nominate him. I kind of agree with you on the Straw thing. I think that I’d suspect him less for his votes on El if he’d stopped doing them after the first cycle or at the very least had provided real analysis along with the gimmicky votes. As for Bard, it’s definitely possible for someone to do last minute vote shenanigans as a villager that ultimately hurt the village. (I’m thinking of me in the first run of Kas’s QF ). I don’t trust him completely yet, but we’ve been PMing and I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for now. I already basically commented on my reasonings above, but I am curious why Peji and Aragorn decided to vote for Aman. I mean, if we’re arguing semantics, is it really bandwagoning if I only jumped on one vote wagon? But yeah, you’re kinda right about my voting. I do tend to be a sheep when it comes to my votes sometimes. I’ve started working on voting for reasons solely of my own in the past few games, but with how busy I ended up being this past week, it’s been pretty easy to fall into old habits.
  13. I’m kinda proud of myself for being able to tell (with a small sense of doubt) that Aman was village. Usually I have absolutely no idea what his alignment is until it’s too late. I thank you @Young Bard for the nomination. I probably won’t vote on myself for now, but if I get enough support, I probably will join in. If we aren’t gonna elect me this cycle, I’d like to elect either Kasimir or Fifth, as of right now. I’ll probably do some analysis later tonight once I’m back home, and my trusts might change based on that. But that’s where my trust lies the most right now.
  14. If you want to vote on Aman, type [ color=red]Aman[/color] without the space after the first bracket
  15. Sorry, I’ve been really busy for most of yesterday and today. I don’t really have time to post anything big, but I’m gonna vote on Aman. I’ve been trying to get him elected since the beginning of the game.
  16. I really should be doing homework, but I'm gonna take some time to respond to this since I got the notification for it anyway. In my defense, I'd always intended to vote on Aman for this cycle. It was only when it appeared that no one else would be willing to vote for Aman that I decided I should help get someone that I hadn't yet gotten any elim vibes from (or any villager vibes, if I'm being honest), get elected over other players I strongly believe to be elims. I wasn't expecting Kas to switch to Aman, but it made Aman's election a little more viable, and a much better alternative to me than Rath or anyone else currently up for election. It doesn't help that a player I don't really trust (Wonko) was the one to offer up Rath for the vote. I'm a little curious why @Amanuensis decided to vote on Rath over himself, and if he'd be willing to move his vote now that me and Kas have voted for him. Vote Tally: (0) Fifth: Kasimir(1), (1) Wibble: Bard, (2) Aman: Aman(1), Striker(1), Kasimir(2), Striker(3), (1) Bard: Wonko(1), Coda, (3) Rath: Fifth, Wonko(2), Aman, Striker(2), Also, Fifth, I'll admit I'm kinda wondering what makes you think I've been hopping on bandwagons. First cycle, I voted on myself mostly as a joke, then moved my vote to Aman and stayed there. This cycle, I again voted on Aman, and only briefly switched it to Rath when I felt like he was gonna be the only alternative to a player I didn't trust.
  17. Okay, I think I understand why people are voting on Sart. I’m a little skeptical of voting on him myself, considering that Aman is the one leading the lynch on him, and I don’t wanna kill discussion by putting Sart at an obvious lead. I have to leave now, but I’ll probably move my vote to El later.
  18. Oh, now you’re gonna vote for Aman? Rath Aman
  19. On a more serious note, Kas is telling the truth. At some point on D1, I told Kas in our PM that Stink would be in my special seven. I had chosen the other six based on my gut feelings about them, and chose Stink randomly for my seventh person. I didn’t use RNG, just kinda looked who I hadn’t chosen yet and picked someone I knew was a good player. Maybe I would’ve had better odds using RNG. Also, Wonko does make reasonable arguments, but I feel like he is making those arguments under the assumption that Bard is good. Which, as a villager, you can never be 100% certain of. I could see two scenarios: 1) Wonko and Bard are elims, and Wonko is working to get Bard elected at the expense of himself getting elected later, which would imply there are a lot more elims than we think, or 2) Wonko is elim alone and Bard is actually just a villager he’s trying to get elected to gain himself credit. Or Wonko’s a villager being fooled by elim!Bard. Or they’re both villagers. I think the first two options are the most likely, but I wouldn’t be surprised if either of the second two happened. Also, seeing as an Aman election probably isn’t happening, I’m gonna vote on Rath. He hasn’t done anything I’ve found particularly suspicious (mostly because I can’t remember anything he’s done), and it seems like he’s a candidate several people would be willing to support. If more people start saying they’d want to elect Aman, I’ll change my vote back. EDIT: Didn’t change Aman to green, oops
  20. Well. I’m 0-2 for being right with my suspicions so far. That’s unfortunate. @Coda Coda, do you have any thoughts about why the elims would choose to kill Elandera? They’re a pretty prominent player, and killing them removes the number of talkative players the elims could hide behind.
  21. .....pretend they did? I could’ve sworn they did. Maybe this is why I should pay more attention while I read things. Anyway, I guess I do have an original thought then.
  22. Oh I completely forgot that this was an LG and nights are only 24 hours. Anyway, everyone has basically already said what I was going to about the results of the lynch: not particularly a fan of Elandera manipulating the votes into giving herself a chance of surviving. I think a newer player would be more likely to do that as a villager, but I feel like more experienced players are more likely to just let themselves get lynched. Unless Elandera just really didn’t trust Venture. Which, to be fair, I definitely did not either. I really need to start working on homework, but I’ll probably pop back on in a bit to see what happens after rollover.
  23. @Amanuensis I agree. Amanuensis I don’t particularly like Bard’s reasoning so far, and I’ll try to figure out why when I don’t have class.
