  1. Something else to consider: Yelig-nar's other name is Blightwind. This sounds to me like a dark title, sort of like "Stonesinew" or "Stormfather" More importantly, it also indicates a connection to the First Essence. One more piece in support of the Unmade-Herald Connection.
  2. Azies the Collector and the Purelake fisher whose name escapes me at the moment. These guys have got to be important, or Brandon wouldn't have introduced them this early.
  3. That is nothing short of brilliant. It answers the big question as to why Syl dislikes Blades but not Plate.
  4. First, brass and pewter are both alloys, and those are the two she knew how to burn. Second, an impure metal i.e. 98% iron and 2% cobalt will work the same as a bad allow.
  5. i'm guessing that the god-alloy properties are mirrors of the base metals. For example, I would guess that Larasium alloys produce Mistings, Sazedium (which is how it should probably be spelled, considering that Leras and Ati used their full names) alloys produce ferrings when eaten. Maybe each Sazium alloy can store the corresponding Allomancy. i.e. "Harmonious Steel" stores the Allomantic power to push on metals.
  6. If you are storing your own identity, you can change your identity to match that of whoever stored them, "tricking" the power into thinking it was yours.
  7. That Parshendi Sharbearer who was looking for Dalinar. Shallan's Blade. the Dawnshards
  8. Sadeas having a Blade and Plate. (Look how dangerous he is w/ just Plate)
  9. Or maybe Rayse is broken spiritually.
  10. What if Odium is behind the Dark Talent?
  11. I don't think that would make anywhere near enough. There were only a few dozen Inquuisitors at most, and only about 20 spikes max per Inquisitor. That only works out two a few hundred earrings. Or are you saying that one spike makes multiple earrings and they split the charge somehow?
  12. Plus, we know you have the first three correct because the swordglyphs match. (The symbol in 1 is the swordglyph for Sapphire, the symbol in 2 is the swordglyph for Smokestone, and the symbol in 3 is the swordglyph for Ruby.)
  13. BTW, i think you misunderstood a bit what i was asking. I was wondering if the act of having sex with women counted as homosexual sex or not.
  14. Good point, I'd forgotten about that.
  15. I think the author knows about them, but nobody else does.
  16. Most likely the last. Considering how many Pathians there are, we're going to need about a bazillion spikes for making into earrings.
  17. Note from the Elendel Daily that humans can apparently still be made into Koloss. (See Allomancer Jak). So it seems they can be created both ways. Alternately, maybe Koloss-blooded have been through some sort of partial transformation?
  18. Gold compounder: Build a house out in the middle of nowhere with a nuclear bomb hidden under it. Wait till they show up. Get out of there really fast. Blow up nuke. I'm not sure even Miles could stand up to a nuke.
  19. That was becaus Marasi's head was in the way. There are two or three different spots where you can drop a Pewterarm with a single shot.
  20. I still think it makes more sense that the bubble is fixed relative to the Pulser's frame of reference.
  21. As I said above, my theory still holds if the Plate needs gems.
  22. I think it's a reflection of the Nahel bond. When the ardent defined the spren, it assumed a human form. I think that the act of defining the spren's form created an extremely weak bond between ardent and spren. (It was not powerful enough to do much more than give it the correct shape.)
