  1. To be honest, I just love every Wallace and Gromit but that one has the most puns...
  2. The mystery tv show Forever. Quite good, told from the M.E.'s point of view.
  3. I haven't seen the phenonemon, but any version of a horror movie where the object of horror is replaced by something amusing is immeadiately hilarious. Like the Curse of the Were-Rabbit, if anyone's seen that.
  4. She doesn't know what a shardblade is, but she says thanks (I put in the sanderson references so yeah).
  5. Okay. That's totally fine.
  6. Sure. My friend who made the thing is really excited now. She's fangirling. But claims she's not.
  7. I showed that to my friend. It was inspired by that.
  8. My school does student notices, which tell you all the notices for that day (like clubs, meetings, etc.). One of my friends had some fun...and I helped. Just read it. If it works. STUDENT NOTICES2.docx
  9. I listen to audiobooks on the train, and I get the sense that everyone thinks I'm listening to music...so yeah...
  10. Oh, I saw A Monster Calls the other day, which is based on the book by the same name. They did pretty good I think.
  11. When you have a nice conversation with your mother (who is a sewer and has read Mistborn) about making a Mistcloak. On the subject of Mistcloaks, what should I be using fabric-wise?
  12. My math teach did a similar joke the other day when calling the role...there's a boy in our class called 'argen' (actually slightly different, but that's how the teacher pronounced it) and he told him 'not to cry for him.'
  13. Welcome to the shard, and nice to meet you! You ate the cookies? *wince*
  14. Oh my figgins, thank you!
  15. How about people who deliberatly try to talk to you when you're reading something?
  16. I know it doesn't technically count as an anime, but I love basically everything ghibli. What is your favourite crime novel/movie?
  17. I know, he does some pretty funny stuff at times...like his 'Australian cocaine' (shapes flavouring). But as someone who isn't dating, either, it was really relatable...
  18. Talking about valentines, I feel you all would appreciate this... (by the way, yesterday was the fourteenth for us) So, one of the boys in our group and is single decided to show off this fact with his waterbottle. What was his bottle, you may ask? An empty bottle of extra virgin olive oil.
  19. Looks less like a Sanderson, and more like generic pulp sci fi...'a huge robot has landed in [probably some American state], and is threatening to kill everyone/unless a deadly virus/destroy the city/make bad puns unless the inhabitants do something!' Also Ah, Brightness Shallan, what a lovely dress you are wearing...very flattering...really brings out your eyes...you look positively radient...

    Niiiice.
  21. Hello, nice to meet you and welcome to the shard! I would agree, the cookies may not be the best idea.
  22. Okay, I'm just going to be annoyed here because I can't find a better place. So, I'm currently writing out the steps of protein synthesis for homework, and I'm doing it on a word document. Whenever I try to write tRNA (transfer RNA) or mRNA (messenger RNA) it automatically corrects it to Trna and Mrna. Oh, and last year it didn't think ethanol was a word? Or ethanoate. Or acetate.
  23. Vin, the mighty Mistborn potato. (did that work?)
  24. Once my friend asked me 'what type of people do you hate the least?' and I told her 'ones who excersize a lot. Their flesh is not tender enough,' so I would so do that if I was a celebrety.
  25. Agreed. One of my friends suggested I read Mistborn, not knowing about the cosmere, and now here I am... And I read Kingkiller because of you lot. And Worm because of a girl in my maths class... And Six of Crows because of one of my other friends... And quite a few others. Some weren't as enjoyable to others, of course, but I would put recommendations as more important.
