Marsh. Kaladin would just stomp off grumbling about "storming light-eyes and their castles". Who would be the more successful door-to-door salesman, Kelsier or Vasher?

We can rebuild them. We have the technology. In all seriousness, this is true. Mostly I was curious how old and large they could become if given proper opportunity.

Is it possible that Koloss could live longer than we assume? According to the copper mind: This suggests that the only reason why a Koloss dies is because their heart can't sustain them after a point. But what if this was no longer a problem? Scadrial is progressing fairly quickly technology wise. They are supposed to get FTL at some point, so high-tech advances in medicine aren't too much of a stretch. If in the future, you gave a Koloss a robotic heart or some form of mechanical circulatory system, how long would Koloss live? Do they have a biological lifespan besides the heart-failure countdown, or would a Koloss with a robot heart be immortal? Follow-up question: If the robot-heart Koloss continues to grow throughout their life, how large could they potentially get?

Mine would either be poor time management or feeling sleepy at inconvenient times.

If I were to make a guess, I would say that the Man of Hours is their version of Father Time.

I play violin and my brother plays viola, so I know a few viola jokes. Q: How do you keep your violin from being stolen? A: Put it in a viola case. A viola player goes to a convenience store to get a drink. However just as he is paying, he realizes that he left his viola case out in plain view. He rushed back to his car, but it was already too late...someone had already broke in and left 3 more violas.

I looked in the rules, but still felt unsure about it, so here we are. I made a topic called "Beginning or the End Challenge", where people used the previous poster's sentence in the beginning or end of a short story. The last post was April 4th, but I had an idea for it. I waited because I wanted to give other people the opportunity, and didn't want to fill the thread with only my ideas. This is what the rules say. Am I allowed to use my idea now, or would it be better not to?

Has there been any announcement about what the retail release date is going to be? Or if there hasn't, is there a general idea about when it will become generally available?

Szeth says that Parshendi assassins wear white, because if you are going to kill someone they should be able to see you coming. So what would happen if a person had asked Szeth to kill someone in a snowy area? Would he be required to change clothing colors in order to be more conspicuous?

That or they could just soothe all of your emotions, just to be on the safe side. There is still the possibility though that since the person logically knows they should be afraid that Steelheart's powers might still kick in, since they fear him on an intellectual level.

I believe that that would work, since Nightblood destroys things on all three Realms and does this almost instantly. I find it hard to imagine that Hoid could come back from that, though since we don't know his method of healing I couldn't say for sure.

I was not aware they were made for individual Kandra. I assumed that they were pairs of normal spikes and that if you kept the base blessings, the extras were transferable. That's how I thought TenSoon was able to use OreSeur's base Blessing without any ill effects. Would you be able to show me were this was stated?

I'm not sure what you mean. Let's pretend for a moment that you cut the Kandra in half, with one half being Kandra A (the original), and the other half Kandra B. Kandra B, up until the bisection was Kandra A. Kandra B's identity would likely change over time, but at the time of separation Kandra B's identity would likely be the same or otherwise near identical to Kandra A's. This would mean that the extra Blessing would become Kandra B's base Blessing, essentially making it so that Kandra B spends virtually no time as a mist wraith. The point that you keep bringing up in this case makes no sense since it is a completely different situation. In BoM, ReLuur is missing one spike from his Blessing pair. TenSoon tried to give him one spike to help him, but this did not work. The problem you are talking about only happens when a Kandra has only one spike and tries to mix Blessings, which is not the case in the hypothetical situation I am talking about.
