    Well what I imagine with investiture is that you have three sheets of paper. Investiture is like a weight, drawing them closer together, when they normally have space between them. Then, a shardpool is a spike which just pins them together. An else calling would be like a pin, I guess. But a highstorm would be a moving weight in this idea, and since it never hits shinovar, whether because of belief or not, the realms are not drawn as closely together. What happens if a radiant goes to shinovar...

    Ok. I think I've already said this, but I'll be camping for the first cycle. I will not have data (we'll be in the middle of nowhere probably) and it sounds like my family is trying to cut ourselves off for the weekend. Thankfully it'll perfectly fit only the first cycle so I'll be active and contributing by the second cycle.

    Could it be because the lack of investiture from the highstorms prevents the realms from being pressed together and allowing spren to appear?

    I will also note I myself confirmed that Hoid does have unkeyed metalminds. So I guess it's not out of the question.

    Seeing another guard coming in, he wondered aloud. "What IS going on here? Why is such a small house pulling in all the guards it could need?" Fear ran through Barry as he realized that perhaps he would get that excitement he was looking for. While he didn't know exactly what was going on, it couldn't be good. Thankfully, he didn't have to dwell on this for too long. It was lunch break.

    Barry Allen was wondering why he had taken up guard duty. Now, it was good pay, working for house Conrad. As good of a pay as a new guard could get. But it was also extremely boring. He had a family to support, so he needed the pay. But he wished that he could actually do something exciting. Was there nothing exciting in any of this empire? He sighed and kicked a rock at a nearby Skaa. At least he wasn't as lowly as these scum. They were true slaves. He at least got payed well. He took his spear and jabbed at an imaginary enemy. One of the older guards glared at him, so Barry wiped the ash off of his uniform, and went back to being bored.

    There were no spoilers for the show. Only spoilers for the comics coming out right now. All I said is I hated season 2, and season 3 was amazing (given that the finale is airing right now and I can't WATCH IT AGHH I'll watch it tomorrow). And @Conatus you're not the onlu one. I would read some old ones to get some strategy. But other than that... Well we shall find out!

    Um adolin was distinctly not going to be a viewpoint character. That was part od the argument over his character. He's not really set to be a major part of this series.
