  1. Well in one of dalinars flashbacks Nohadon speaks of how yelig-nar (I think it was that one, it was definetly an unmade name) broke into the library and killed all his words-men. That sounds pretty sapient to me
  2. Ok then. Makes sense. Although I'm assuming that has nothing to do with Adonalsium. And I swear some of these laws seem like the most OBVIOUSLY laws ever.
  3. Lol sorry I just respect the time you put into that thing. And am giving you credit where credit is due. And I would have to check my books. And for all people talk about the nurse, I've never actually been able to find the nurse in warbreaker. Don't exactly know what I'm missing
  4. I have long theorized (since I read the annotations to the Hero of Ages) that the girl that Captain Demoux meets is the terriswoman worldhopper we've heard about. Thanks to @Pagerunner I think we have practically confirmation of this fact: She is a terriswoman, as discussed in the annotations. Anything I'm missing here?
  5. So. A while ago I heard this amazing theory that the unmade may be corrupted Dawnshards. Sadly, I found this WoB: Go ahead and fire away.
  6. Oh come on that's OP. I'd want steel-lerasium alloy, whatever material can make you into a ferring in steel form, and a cultivationspren. Therfore becoming Steeldancer.
  7. I have no idea what you are talking about. And now after looking it up, I do not understand your logic...
  8. Ok so I was reading @Pagerunner compilation of all the Reddit WoB when I came across this WoB: So the actual three laws of thermodynamics are 1. Energy/matter cannot be created or destroyed. 2. Entropy will always increase in a closed system. 3. As entropy decreases, it approaches a fixed temperature (absolute zero). In the cosmere, they go like this: 1. Energy, investiture and matter cannot be created or destroyed. (Something like E=mc^2=I, where I equals some unit of investiture) 2. Entropy will either remain the same or increase over time. (Brandon has talked about this; there are some situations where it seems that entropy would remain the same with some feruchemical setups. It isn't always increasing, but over time it will always increase.) 3. As entropy decreases, it approaches a temperature of absolute zero. 4. Now this is the law that is interesting. He says there is a fourth one regarding Adonalsium. I have no idea what this could be; it might be a quantification of investiture in a soul, or something like that. But he doesn't say it is about investiture, it's about adonalsium in particular. So what about thermodynamics would adonalsium tie into? Please any physicists, take a stab at this. Oh and this WoB might be related as well.
  9. Wow @Pagerunneryou are amazing. I just finished reading them all, and there are several I intend to look into more deeply. I've been worried about those Reddit WoB for a while, and you just solved that issue. Time to go theorize on the 4th law of thermodynamics
  10. Two year absence? I'm going to take a stab in the dark and say you're a member and you were in a mission. And lol I'll probably do the same after I get back from my own... AFTER finishing all the books that will have been published during then *sigh*
  11. I'm a huge fan of elemental magic. Well thought out, I have a similar magic system, elements all that jazz. I also enjoy the fact that the powers have limits (I still like mine being OP. Idk im weird I guess), it adds extra interest in how things work.
  12. I'm impressed you found something so ancient
  13. Hm. Well he is collecting investitures, and thereby connecting himself to various shards. So... what if maybe back on yolen there might still be an adonalsium shardpool? One that, if he connects himself to each shard, he could use to ascend. Although he has turned down a shard before, why would he pick up that power now... maybe he learned something? Maybe he wants to fix his home planet. Although I'm betting there would be a lot more to that than would initially appear.
  14. I like this correlation, that the planets might limit the number of shards. Not that we know anything about yolen, but perhaps that law forces them out (because I doubt I they have 16 inner planets anywhere at all lol). Perhaps it is the rules they abide by? By a sort of treaty or something. Or maybe it is the laws adonalsium set up.
  15. How about accepting that she NEEDED to kill her mother? Because she would have died if she hadnt.
  16. As cool as an idea that is... shards ain't crystals. They're beings of vast invested power who are basically gods. Not crystals.
  17. Lol it does have a large weapons system, but it isn't offensive. It's purely defensive. And it doesn't move, it has a fixed orbit. And no @King Cole I thought about eventually introducing bi-element mages, but for now they are just a vague idea. I'm going with the explanation that all the training of one element makes them specialize in that. And they simply have not considered that mages could learn 2 elements.
  18. Well I am one. It is part of why I enjoy Brandon sanderson so much. I'll endure a sex scene here or there, but I prefer the Brandon method. It allows me to enjoy the writing more, versus George RR martin, whos language, despite being excellent writing, just made it too hard for me to read.
  19. I enjoyed the planet, and the whole idea of the economy being based on a drug. I have mixed feelings about the computers. It certainly wasn't Brandon sanderson, and sometimes was downright confusing. Especially with the philosophy.
  20. I just finished reading the complete Dune series. It was very thought provoking.
  21. How about like invisibility for indigo.
  22. Sorry I typed it all out (the other 9 powers) but accidentally lost it. I'll retype it now
