  1. Apologies once again for the necessary double post, but I have a couple more offerings! I had hoped to bring more, but some of these songs are surprisingly hard to play, and be played good enough for a recording. Which is weird, since I made them. Whatever. I'm working on them. Here are two more. First is the intro to a song titled "They Shall Fear Us", so named for the scene at the climax of Hero of Ages where Elend utters those words right before he, Demoux, and their Seer army charge out to fight the koloss. Vin watches in terror as Elend seemingly charges to his death, and... suddenly he and his army flare atium and begin the epic hours-long fight scene. I'm still working on the rest of it, but here's the beginning of it for now. This next one is also named after a particular quote, this one from the happy ending of the very end of the prologue of The Final Empire, where Vin goes to meet Elend again and tell him, "You read too much". Ideally, this song is directly followed by the Mistborn Suite (see OP), which serves as an end-credits song of sorts. They Shall Fear Us (Intro).m4a You Read Too Much.m4a Yes, they're all still works in progress, but I want to share them as they are now at the least.
  2. But Time didn't like wearing briefs, so he hoped to break the awkward silence by announcing that Stormlight 4 would be released a year early.
  3. Snarky Britches screamed and exploded in a burst of vacuums and lollipops and other things that suck.
  4. So San Holo drank Master Soda and was imbued with the power of the Frizz. This allowed him to counteract the evil power of Miss Frizzle so he could deal with the sarcasm of Snarky Britches.
  5. But the evens countered the odds, and since each team had an even number of people, they had equal evens despite the decent odds of ButtoS. These were very odd evens.
  6. Assumptions, assumptions... for all you know, I could be a vampire. Or a robot. Beep boop beep boop bleh bleh bleh.
  7. This one made me laugh out loud. Especially listening to the recording. It's so sweet.
  8. You assume too much...
  9. ...Wow. That was quite informative, thank you. I asked hoping someone would be able to pull up a magic WoB out of Wayne's lucky hat, and @Calderis, you did so, as you are wont to do. So thank you for that. The "avatar thing" -- while still quite confusing -- makes more sense now. Before I was just wondering: "Where did all this stuff about avatars come up from one obscure reference?" Welp. The more we know. These hints are getting crazy bothersome, though. Hopefully Wax and Wayne 4 might somehow possibly have another clue about Trell. (assuming Trell comes from or is Autonomy, which is a completely different topic... )
  10. @Kidpen I apologize for the lack of response. The head admins of the Knights of the Cosmere have been busy and haven't been too active on the Shard recently, and I would wait for them to decide the state of it. I could PM you a transcription of the RP as it exists currently (basically a Google Doc containing all the events of it post by post), though the transcript itself is still a work in progress. But it should hopefully do enough to explain the story and characters so far. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
  11. Here's a question that bugs me about all this: how do we know that Autonomy is creating "avatars" that exist as separate minds in the first place? As far as I know, the only reference to such a thing is in one epigraph in Oathbringer. Is there a WoB I don't know of that states that Autonomy is creating "avatars" with their own identities such as Trell and Patji? Where is the evidence that Patji wrote the letter to Hoid? Or what is the evidence that Trell is a so-called avatar of Autonomy and not Autonomy herself/himself/itself? At times like this, I am reminded of the painful truth dictated by Oversleep's wise subtitle.
  12. It was the Magic Treehouse, which was only like that ever since the Magic School Bus had crashed into when Miss Frizzle got distracted playing the Game.
  13. Can't lose the game... ...if you never play it.
  14. Then None's son, the green chicken Jeksonofnone, saw his father being chased by cannibalistic marshmallows and proceeded to eat them.
  15. ...Well. That's a surprise. A pleasant one, but a surprise nonetheless. Thanks, y'all! And congrats to all of you for your terrific raps as well! Edit: @Kidpen, I felt the same way when I signed up. I have confidence in you.
  16. Quick question: What are the ethics of voting for oneself in this competition?!
  17. Thanks! Glad to publicly embarrass you! That's all four of us now, right?
  18. Which was out of character for them, because they were blue-feathered Cojiro Cuccoos, who almost never make noise.
  19. Let me just say, I love where this discussion has gone. Oftentimes, discussion of religious topics on 17S end up getting locked because they're too contentious, but not so here. This might be the most polite and non-derailed religion-based conversation I've seen on the forums. I'm proud of all of you. That's all I have to say here, though there is more I guess I could say, being LDS myself. I just want to thank all of you for being respectful of one another's opinions and showing a unity of kindness on the Shard. Over and out.
  20. Okay, here we go: I wasted sooo much time on this, ugh. Look what you made me do instead of homework, haha...
  21. I'm particularly working on the one for you currently. Gotta say, it's definitely the easiest, my friend.
  22. Oof. I feel so roasted. I will need at least a day to come up with one of my own. I've been busy with things, and I'm already doing lots of writing. So don't expect The Lopen's Victory to come just yet.
