  1. I think that's what it is, because it works like a charm on Firefox. My old browser struggled with the text entry as well, and so I think I'll just use Firefox for this site from now on. Thanks Chaos.
  2. I want to have a role claim from everyone because then we can coordinate things like scans and vigilante kills, if we have either in the game. If we do have a scan, we can decide as a whole who is most suspicious, and scan them, and then the scanner can reveal the result publicly. We could have a night vote for vigilante kill, and the anonymous night vigilante could carry it out. As Lopen mentioned, we also could have action accountability for players, so we could confirm that a given player could not have performed the elim kill. Lopen mentioned that the disadvantage is that the elims would know what we have, but considering that we don't even know what we have I think it's a fair trade.
  3. Extending off of Jon's edit 2, what if all of the day players were to claim their roles to the thread, and then we as a whole could decide who gets scanned or vig-killed? Protection of course would be left unassigned, for obvious reasons. We could assign players who claimed non-vanilla and have provable roles to have their night player prove them, and the elim team wouldn't be able to go anything about claimed day scanners or kills.
  4. We cannot escape. They are coming.
  5. My reasons are in my first post this cycle. I thought Bart's accusations against me were suspicious and unfounded, and so I threw a vote on him to illustrate that. I didn't want a bandwagon to form and kill discussion with following the crowd, so that's why I attempted to slow the wagon before it could get out of hand, however, that backfired and all other votes left Bart while I was just trying to dissuade the avalanche of incoming ones. I stand by my point that Bart did something very suspicious, especially because his post sounds just like Aman was an elim naming me as an obstacle to his plans. And since there have been no votes yet this cycle, Bart.
  6. Lynching an elim is the best way, especially because in this game busing is not likely due to the extremely low number of elims in the game. It's not impossible for a bus to happen, but it's incredibly risky. I don't know about you, but I'm taking precautions to make sure that I'm not easily traced to my night player. I think all players should do the same, to protect themselves from being targeted.
  7. Reputation is based on the number of upvotes or downvotes your posts receive. You give reputation by hitting the up or down arrows to the right of a post. You can give 16 upvotes each day and 2 downvotes. When you begin to accrue reputation, your reputation count on your profile page will change. New "ranks" are gained when you hit preset reputation benchmarks; these are the gold writing next to your username when you post. Here, have an upvote. You will get a notification that someone gave you reputation for your post. You only get notifications when you are upvoted, not when you are downvoted. Anything else you have questions on that I forgot to cover?
  8. I'm with Jon. Revealing your partner would be unwise because then, if you become a trusted player, the elims would know who to kill at night to silence you. With unknown partnerships, day players could strategize and gain trust without the elims being able to target then effectively.
  9. I don't have either installed.

  11. Brandir Sebarial was walking before sunrise, telescope in hand, when he heard a scream. He put the telescope to his eye and spun. In the eyepiece he saw... fire! Oh how it burned his opened eye, not that that eye could really be more damaged that it already was. But anyway, a house was on fire. Brandir mentally checked his father's schedule. Arson attack on Roion's granaries wasn't due until after next Highstorm. Burning of important documents was scheduled for tomorrow. That meant... wait, was that Neiha's house?! Brandir took off down the street towards the blazing abode. The first ray of sun appeared over the hills, striking Neiha's house just as the building fell, sending sparks streaking down the street. One caught Brandir in the shoulder, where it burned a small hole in his jacket. That would need to be mended later, after Brandir talked to his uncle. He wouldn't be happy that Brandir had lost another chance at marriage. (Brandir's unemotional reactions are intended) @OrlokTsubodai As I said last game, there is good bandwagoning and bad bandwagoning. Lots of voting on Bart would have created a bad bandwagon, based on following others' opinions instead of your own and killing discussion as it grew. I put my vote on Bart to make a point that I thought his voting on me was suspicious and unjustified, but I didn't want it to snowball like it began to, because that's how you get bad bandwagons.
  12. I'm using the built-in browser on my Verizon tablet, model number SCH-i705 running Android version 4.7.2, an old version. Usually I can see the full width of the page, but I zoomed in on that part of the screen to show the border error better. I'm fairly sure I'm seeing the mobile version, because my notifications and PMs are nested in the menu of the button in the extreme top-right, while on desktop they appear next to a button linking to my profile. If you need more device information or screenshots, I can get them easily.
  13. Well, that ended suddenly. But it was fun while it lasted. I find it humorous that both sides were sure that they would lose, and that I was implicated by a completely-unrelated kill on Rand. If this game is redone, I think Kelsier needs more actions. It's hard to burn 2 charges of Atium and 8 metals using only one action per night, while night-kills wipe out a quarter of the players each night.
  14. For all of the analysis you've done on my posts, I think you missed Admittedly I misread what you said, but I attempted to respond to it in my first post after you brought it up. That's hardly never answering. I've gotta get to school, where I don't have WiFi or data. I should be back before turnover, barring homework overload, car troubles, or alien invasion.
  15. Let's not get into a massive bandwagon yet. My vote was retaliatory for the vote on me with no specified reasoning. I don't necessarily think Bart's actions are because he's an elim, though that is a possibility. @Jondesu I think we're all in that boat.
  16. I can corroborate Jon's account of the PM.
  17. I can confirm that Rand indeed sent me a PM C1. Rand was actually the one who I told my suspicions about Orlok to back when I was sitting on them D1. Something that you'll want to know, Aman, is that Rand asked me to tell all Kandra that I know that Rand was a Kandra looking to coordinate PMs with others. I passed the message on to the one other Kandra that PMed me C1, a Kandra that is yet unclaimed. I don't want to out who they are to the thread, but if they choose to claim they can confirm that I passed the message on to them, with Rand's name explicitly stated as the Kandra looking to coordinate. This unnamed Kandra told me not to tell their identity to Rand, but that they'd consider PMing him D2 if they thought that coordination would be wise. Rand never learned this unclaimed Kandra's identity, but this unclaimed Kandra knew about Rand's. As for who knew what in the Rand PM, we were both frank with one another. Rand had a good gut read on me, or at least he said he did in the PM and publicly, and after Joe suggested in-thread that Kandra tell each of their contacts the name of the other Rand told me that Mage was his other contact, citing Joe. Rand also told me that he had talked to Joe, but he did that a little later. Maybe Joe didn't PM him right away, maybe Rand didn't want to reveal Joe's role, maybe Rand wasn't playing completely straight with me. We might never know. When Rand first told me that Mage was his other contact, I told Rand that I had been contacted by another player, but for information security reasons I didn't give him the identity of the still unclaimed Kandra. I will admit that I didn't trust him nearly as much as I told him I did. I know this post is a mess, but I've got Hawaii Five-O to get back to.
  18. The title says it all. Here's a picture of a few of the affected icons. The glitch is present for every 'mark forum as read' on the Forums page, but only when I'm on the mobile version of the site.
  19. Boris stood at the top of Kredik Shaw, staring out into the mists. The Lord Ruler. Once, the very name would have sent shivers down his spine. But now here he was, a joint ruler of the entire Final Empire. Those petty thefts from his shop didn't mean anything, anymore. His life did, however, so Boris went back to work. So HH was TLR and village. And we just lynched him, with me among the primary accusers. Good job, self. That was some real nice detective work you did there. [/sarcasm] @Amanuensis Do you still think Orlok is Skaa? I'm interested in your thoughts on him now that we know HH was village, but before the Skaa have a chance to kill you tonight. I'm leaning Skaa from my gut, since I was primarily trusting Orlok because he called HH out, but my gut this game is batting .000 and so I want the opinion of a player who is a better analyst than myself.
  20. I'll admit my guilt as to being reluctant to post. I prefer having a lot of evidence to work with, but that just isn't available C1. But I don't want to be inactive, either, so I force myself to post. But being in the way of your partner's business? What kind of business does your partner have that's harmed by me speculating on the nature of the elim team in one post? Bart.
  21. Confirmed Kandra Randuir PMed me C1 without Kandra in the PM title, so there goes all of the paranoid theories. Sorry, Aman, I forgot about that. While it could have been busing on your part, it could also be Orlok busing HH, so there goes one of my primary reasons for trusting Orlok over you. Hmm... I may end up moving my vote after all, but that's an "I may" and not an "I will". But if I did move it, it would be to Orlok. I guess both Aman and Orlok could be Skaa, but I don't think it would be wise to attempt a bussing right after Ecth got murked. All logic goes against it. Right now, I think HH is still the best lynch, as a suspicion lynch as well as an info lynch. If he turns out Skaa, like I'm betting, their team is probably crippled. If he turns out village, then Aman has been right about 2 players, and I'd probably vote on Orlok D3 because Aman would be proved to be hitting the nail right on the head with his other reads.
  22. @Amanuensis I think that one of you or Orlok is probably Spiked, based on how each of you has brought up a large amount of evidence about the other. Aman's arguments are more logical than Orlok's, but I've had the better gut read on Orlok since I've been scrutinizing him. Right now, I don't think I'm certain enough to throw a vote on either of them, because lynching the village one of them would be less than ideal for obvious reasons. But if I had to pick one of them to vote on, I'd vote for Aman, because Orlok identified Headshot as a liar, a very un-elim-like move. I'm keeping my vote on Headshot, because that's where the tangible evidence is. I am open to moving it, but given the circumstances I don't think I will end up doing it.
  23. (We're actually hurting by 2 now. I'll fix it.) Hurt Edgedancer, heal Warbreaker 6. The Hero of Ages -- 16 13. The Way of Kings -- 21 15. Edgedancer -- 17 16. Warbreaker -- 10
  24. I would say that Headshot has a point in that Orlok and Aman would make the best conversion targets, but he forgets that only some players can be converted. Let's say that there's a 1 in 4 chance that a given player is a half-skaa, which I think is even on the generous side. Some high-school-level probability: So even if Kelsier could have attempted to convert both Orlok and Aman last night, which he couldn't have, chances are that he didn't even get one of them. So while I can't guarantee that one of them was not converted, the math actually supports both of them being unconvertable, and at this point the worst case scenario is only that one of them has been converted. Most likely case is that Kelsier used his Steel last night, and so couldn't have made a conversion. So really, I don't think HH's conversion argument holds water. There is a chance that Orlok has been Skaa the entire time, but I don't buy into that. I've been scrutinizing his posts since D1 when I got suspicious of him, and haven't come up with anything that I haven't already said. So right now I'm fairly sure that Orlok isn't Skaa, by origin or by conversion.
  25. Orlok put in the grunt work, so let's make sure this gets followed through. First, Headshot. I called him out right after Orlok did N1, but Aman countered and I stood down on that issue. After all, I was going primarily based on gut and circumstantial evidence. But now Orlok brings something up that's more concrete: Headshot lied. Blatantly, to get himself out of trouble. As Orlok said, this strongly supports the idea that someone else wrote that post. Someone who would not have known that Headshot had only ever played an LG and an AG. And since casual PM contacts just aren't likely to write a post for someone else, I think that is more than adequate justification for a vote on Headshot. And now Aman, where the stakes are higher. Lynch an elim Aman and there's probably only one more elim. The game would be practically in the bag. Lynch a village Aman and we've wasted a lynch, killed our best analyst, and will probably lose more to the shooting gallery tonight. Up until this point I had considered Aman practically cleared, but Orlok brings up some valid points. What I'd suggest is this: we lynch Headshot today because there's definite evidence of subterfuge. We let Aman respond to Orlok's concerns. If Headshot turns out evil, which he probably will, that is more evidence against Aman. If Headshot turns out to be a villager who just lied, that's a point in Aman's favor. If Aman is evil, we need him gone, fast, but if he's village and we lynch him that would be a total blunder. I want to hear everyone else's views on Aman, and I mean everyone else's. Would someone who's not on mobile tag everyone? My tablet is glitching and not making the tags.
