  1. Let's take a step back from the assumption that Hero was targeted specifically for his role. If we look at the kill as random, most of the points against Kipper go away. So there is a chance that Kipper ising the being of innocent But, I'm not convinced about the Ecth lynch: I don't think he was purposely trying to be misleading about his claim. The Snapped players could have contacted Hero and he could have acted as an intermediary to disclose Snapping times to the thread, so it would have been an unwise gambit to use. And this sudden witch-hunt on Ecth doesn't get a good read from my gut. With my vote leaving Kipper but not landing on Ecth, I need to put my vote somewhere else. Araris, stop tunneling on me.
  2. I could see myself volunteering to be a subject of Jon's analysis or refraining from killing if I had more productive actions to do, but I don't kill first-timers without definite reason. I usually hit the most active players or the best analysts. The real question: who here would have killed Ornstein? The only one I can think of is OmeGaster, but I'm hesitant to point the finger based only on a sibling death. I have been suspected for multiple Ecth deaths, with me only ever participating in one of them.
  3. A Crasher. Iron Feruchemy to make yourself lighter would be super useful, and a bit of extra weight now and then wouldn't hurt. Either choice, you get flight. Would you rather be an Iron Ferring or a Tin Allomancer?
  4. @TheMightyLopen To clear up a few things: I began this game after reading the official rules to LG2 but not before reading the GM spreadsheet. That's what caused my confusion about the Ruin-granted abilities. I've been very clear about why I'm voting who I'm voting because multiple players have made bandwagoning accusations against me, so especially if I'm voting with the crowd than I want to make it clear that I'm not just slapping my vote down where a bunch of others are. I suggested that Dalinar was a Coinshot kill because the Spiked would have no motivation to attack an inactive player who couldn't have role-claimed to anybody. A Coinshot, on the other hand, would have wanted to ensure that the game remained primarily active players. Lastly, I can't control what Jon said in his analysis of me. It sounds like he was throwing out some truths on order to get more trust, and that did have me reading slightly village on him.
  5. Apparently I missed when she announced that the first time (I have been skimming a bit recently), because I was running off of the assumption that Aman was killed by the Inquisitor. Soft-cleared or not soft-cleared, I'm going to ask her source for something like that. It doesn't make sense: If the anonymous Coinshot killed Aman, who did the Spiked kill that night? If a player got killed twice, would we get one notification or two? @OrlokTsubodai
  6. Looking at this from a GM perspective, I guess it does make a lot of sense to put multiple Thugs in a game like this. That way if we do have an unsuccessful lynch, it isn't as likely that it's the Inquisitor. So maybe Kipper's innocent. But we still have that Hero information leak to consider, and that implicated Kipper, Wilson, and Aonar. @little wilson You imply heavily that a Coinshot killed Aman. Where does that information come from?
  7. Heh. Last cycle's first Tineye message (the math one) decoded to ISING THE NAMING OF JON. I dunno why the Tineye would false-claim like that. Anyway, ising the voting of Kipper. If I have time today I might work on a song parody for the situation.
  8. That's hardly a hard-clear. You could be the Seeker, which would incline any Lurcher contact of yours to protect you every cycle. In this theoretical scenario, you are attacked, your Lurcher blocks it, your Lurcher receives confirmation in PM, and then tells you that you were attacked. You hit the thread and false-claim Lurcher, when really you're a Seeker, and suddenly nobody feels inclined to attack you anymore. What I'm not doing is accusing you of being a Seeker; rather, I'm just using this to show that your role is not confirmed to all of us.
  9. Lynches always have the name of the player specified in the write-up, because lynch results are always public knowledge. However, the only ways to survive a lynch are Pewter and theorized UberPewter, so that doesn't alter the validity of your reasoning.
  10. No Thug conversions have happened yet, so either Kipper is innocent or he's the Inquisitor with UberPewter. Sadly, the Spiked Smoker is almost certainly going to keep us from scanning him, regardless of his alignment, and ising nothing we can do about that.
  11. I haven't played enough with Aonar to know that he's usually like this when he's village, so ising the retracting from Aonar and ising the voting on Kipper. He hasn't role-fished me, but he did start a PM with me in the early cycles that has since died. @little wilson I'm glad that you think I'm a good enough player to be converted, but conversions have been avoiding me like the plague recently. I'm too much of a death risk: some players are permanently suspicious of me, I have a habit of getting lynched in the mid-game, and I rarely accrue much trust. That usually outweighs what I can contribute to a team. The only reasons I could see for the Inquisitor even wanting to convert me would be because I have a bold streak and because it would be unexpected. Otherwise I'm a wasted conversion.
  12. I vote for Aman over Lopen, but either of them would be an excellent tribute.
  13. I'm available for that time, but I don't think I would be the best candidate for the job. We should send one of our more experienced players.
  14. I think we should send someone, as long as we have someone who can do it without putting too much strain on their schedule.
  15. Okay, so we can account for both attacks now: Spiked attack on Hero (because he's a very unlikely Coinshot target) and Coinshot attack on Meta. Right now I'm definitely inclined to trust Hero, because so far our Inquisitor has shown us that they prefer to play on the safe side, and so wouldn't be likely to have themself or a convert pull a WGG. However, I'm not going to follow Hero's vote on Kipper, because I'd rather put it on Aonar, for three reasons: 1. Aonar would be an excellent convert. He's experienced, he usually doesn't attract a whole lot of suspicion, and he tends to live very late into games. 2. Jon already picked up on suspicious things in Aonar's behavior. If you haven't read his analysis of Aonar yet, go do that. 3. Aonar had the information about Hero that made Hero seem like a Seeker. That information got to the elims somehow, and I'm betting Aonar was how. But wait!--some skeptics might say--he's just deflecting suspicion from Kipper and Wilson by voting on Aonar! Well, if Aonar turns out village, guess who's next on my suspects list? Because I find it difficult to believe that Hero got attacked by chance not long after rumors of him being a Seeker were circulated to three different people. So, ising the voting on Aonar, but ising for reasoning, not bandwagoning.
  16. @Herowannabe The Soothe is nice because, as I mentioned in my post above, it can be used with the right logic to notify the thread about the results of the scan without the Seeker having to claim or even use an intermediary unless Ecth is evil. Using Soothing as a scan for Smoking sounds good, but we need to be mindful that a Spiked Smoker might use offensive Smoking to attempt to incriminate villagers, and that a Spiked Rioter could Soothe their own vote through a Coppercloud. Has anyone considered yet that there might be an UberZinc that Riots without Soothing the user's vote? I think someone has brought that up before, but I'm not fully sure.
  17. That's right. If the Soothe goes through, that means that the Seeker had a window with which to perform a scan. If the Soothe occurs and a Seeker contact announces to the thread that Ecth is evil, everyone knows Ecth is evil. If the Soothe occurs and nobody says anything in the thread, that means Ecth is village. If the Soothe doesn't occur, then we all know Ecth has not been successfully scanned yet. This, of course, is all contingent on the Seeker having a Soother or Rioter contact, but seeing the amount of vote manip so far I think ising likely that they do.
  18. We could just Soothe Ecth the same turn as we scan him. If the Soothing goes through, then we know that the scan was good.
  19. Well, assuming that Ecth did snap into a thug, chances are that the second convert that the Inquisitor got used to be a thug. Ising interesting. To everyone, particularly the PM trust group thing: If you've received any Thug claims, now's a good time to give those players some scrutiny. Also, if Ecth was the player who Snapped last night, then he's cleared village, because there have been no conversions since then and a Misting, like he'd be if he had been converted, can't snap.
  20. @Ecthelion III You forgot to retract your vote on HH before voting on Rand. After Ecth retracts that vote, here's what the vote situation will be: Ecthelion (0): Jon HH (2): Kipper, Araris, Ecth Magestar (1): Len Iamspartacus (1): Rand Metacognition (1): Hero Rae (1): Arin Rand (2): Lopen, Ecth
  21. "We must unite the people. All must be prepared for battle. W-w-w-w-ee--" Rodel, who had been sitting up, suddenly fell backwards, eyes rolling back into his head. Elenion tried to catch him, but since he wasn't concentrating his arms just swished right through Rodel's torso. Elenion grabbed the blanket--which required focus to ensure that his hand could actually grab hold--and threw the blanket off of Rodel, exposing a bloody wound on Rodel's right side. Elenion gritted his teeth: he hated the sight of blood. He was used to it--he had to be--but it still made him hesitate. But it wasn't a time for hesitation. Elenion closed his eyes and let his surroundings flow into him. He could sense Rodel's shallow breathing ripple through the bed and into the floor. He could hear the air currents that glided into and out of the room through the doorway. And he could feel, almost tangibly, Rodel's strength seeping away. Elenion reached out with his consciousness and touched the wound, willing the flesh on either side of the jagged cut to press together, staunching most of the blood flow from the wound. It was only a temporary fix, but it was the best he could do with what he had on hand. And so, without saying a word to the still-unconscious Rodel, Elenion ran for a doctor. @Captains Domon @Darkness Ascendant
  22. @Arraenae "Thanking the doctor" is a ToS term referring to when someone thanks a power role, especially a protection role, for their actions during the night. It's viewed as a common tell for inexperienced eliminators. I've got a bunch of homework from AP Bio and AP English, so I'll be low on activity today.
  23. Do you not know your own subjects? I am a fellow defender of the Court, made so by Queen Elsa herself. I was once a wandering mage in strange lands, but upon the loss of my body I decided that my wandering days were over. @Darkness Ascendant "Then speak! Keep not the things of darkness from the light of day!"
  24. Ising a solid assumption. I doubt a Tineye would purposefully choose to not send a message when they could have (unless they're Spiked, and I don't think there are any Spiked Tineyes, at least not yet).
  25. "Darkness!" Rodel called. But it was not Darkness that came through the door, but Elenion, coming through the door as if it was made out of smoke. "Rest yourself, good sir. There are many powers that reside here besides the Queen's, albeit none as strong as Her Majesty's, and we are ever-vigilant. I regret that I could not have rushed to Her Majesty's aid sooner. Her Majesty lives, and although I am no healer I have done what I can for her."
