  1. On the other hand...(I put the rest in spoiler-brackets, because of obvious BoM spoilers)
  2. Doesn't your e-reader have a zoom function for images like this? I can zoom in on mine (A Kobo something) and read them without much trouble.
  3. I'd argue that's still in RAFO territory. I mean, we know who put them there, but that doesn't mean he made them (as I'm pretty sure the bands of the LR had gone MIA).
  4. I'm not aware of any such source either, but chapter 30 of the well of ascension contains the corrupted version of the first couple of paragraphs. They have been changed quite radically from the original.
  5. On the sniper topic, i think it wold be possible, but require very specialized training (in addition to normal sniper training) if you want to hit anything at long range. The reason for this is that estimating the speed(and therefore the amount of lead that you need to give) becomes very difficult in a speed bubble. other factors, like wind, might also become difficult to detect.
  6. This information likely comes from the diary that wasn't from the lord ruler in mistborn. In it, mention is made of feruchemy, but none of allomancy (actually, the writer does mention sensing bronze pulses, but doesn't recognize them as such).
  7. Heal surgebinding, hurt Rithmatics. 2. Feruchemy- 19 7. Surgebinding- 43 15. Rithmatics- 23
  8. Heal Allomancy, hurt Rithmatics. 1. Allomancy- 6 2. Feruchemy- 26 3. Hemalurgy- 9 7. Surgebinding- 29 15. Rithmatics- 15
  9. Heal Allomancy, hurt hemalurgy 1. Allomancy- 7 2. Feruchemy- 25 3. Hemalurgy- 9 7. Surgebinding- 27 15. Rithmatics- 17
  10. That's actually not how it works. The Koloss Spikes contain physical strength (not the ability to burn pewter), which can be taken from any human (misting or not). It is completely unrelated to allomantic or feruchemic pewter. The inquisitors, on the other hand, did have spikes that allowed them to burn petwer, but they (probably) didn't have the koloss physical strength spikes.
  11. Wasn't there a theory about it being Vivenna from warbreaker? There is at least some small possibility for that, given that Vasher is on Roshar too.
  12. Rememeber, gemstones could also quite easily be acquired the normal way, being mined from the ground.
  13. I believe in one of the books (Secret History?) the basic facts (Adonalsium got shattered into 16 shards) where given. Everything else is probably WoB and informed speculation.
  14. As for the inquisitor related question, I'd say the spikes are the dominant factor. After all, Rashek was capable of taking and using the power, and I wouldn't call him a paragon of preservation. Furthermore, as Sazed said, the inquisitors could have used it if they removed the spikes, if it weren't for the problematic case of begin dead.
  15. It was, in fact, written in "Secret History". The last chapter, If I am not mistaken. Edit: Though if that was a quote directly from the coppermind, it might need some editing (more precise explanation in spoiler tags).
  16. I think it would be pretty safe to assume they are post-reod Elantrians, given that Elantris happens a significant amount of time before Mistborn era 1. Apart from that, we don't know much else.
  17. Oh, I agree, however, in the epilogue I mentioned, the following was said (BoM spoilers bellow, emphasis mine):
  18. I think there is a commonly known semi-immortality trick among Worldhoppers. After all, Hoid isn't the only character to pop up in both mistborn era's 1 and 2 . Kriss is there as well, and Demoux turns up in WoK. It could just be that all of them swing by Nalthis to stock up on breath, but I suspect it is something different.
  19. I don't think trell is autonomy though. The BoM epilogue regarding Trell's "faceless immortals" suggests Trell's intent is quite the opposite to autonomy. I therefore agree that Trell is likely an unknown shard, with an intent related to controlling or commanding things.
  20. Actually, it is energy that can't be destroyed, and matter relates to energy through E=mc^2. 'destroying' matter is what fuels nuclear generators and the like. Based on what I've seen in other threads, 'investure' is added to round out these two in the cosmere (energy can be turned into investiture or matter, matter into energy and investiture, etc.). So, most likely conservation of energy still holds. In your example of the metals, the metals are being turned into investiture, withe the total present matter+investiture+energy remaining constant.
  21. That's what I suspected. How do we know it wasn't Hoid though? He is probably one of the few people to have the means and there's a precedent(secret history spoilers):
  22. First of all, apologies if this has been mentioned before. Also, Major WoR spoilers to follow. Dalinar bonded the Madman's blade. It is (almost) certain that the madman was in fact a Herald. Furthermore, he was the only Herald that remained faithful tot he oathpact, as far as I can tell. It has also been suggested that the blades of the heralds (the Oathblades) are different from Shardblades. It is said that Honor created the blades and gave them to the Heralds, and the spren just learned how to copy the effect. This leads to my question(spoilered out as this contains spoilers for the ending of WoR):
  23. I believe he's rather okay with it, as long as you don't earn money from it. Furthermore, all involved rights belong to him, so if your game has a storyline, and he uses something in a book that is similar, you can't do anything about that, even though you (arguably) thought of it first. If you are going to publish something on say, google play, make sure to check with him beforehand.
  24. The theory(confirmed, afaik in BoM) is that to be able to craft medallions that anyone can use, you need to be storing identity together with the attribute you want to put in the amulet to create metalminds that are not 'keyed' to one particular person. So the user doesn't need to draw on it, but the creator does need to store it.
