  1. I would not equate Odium being trapped on Braize as Braize being his world.
  2. If that's the case, then it could also be just H+O. Wonder if it's tied to how Odium killed Honor.
  3. I suppose the question is did Felt do any of the scouting reported on. FWIW, he appears to be the scout that tells Shallan about the perfectly circular plateau (WoR page 983). If the intent was what Brandon wrote, then I'm leaning towards the Kandra theory: The descriptions do not contradict each each other, but they do not confirm each other either. Could it be intentional that there's no mention of his hawkish face in WoR?
  4. I thought he could be the Kandra, but scout/spies would be lithe, dexterous, etc. so I'm not sure how much we should read into that line. Edit: I think you may be right. I forgot that some of the nobles hired Kandra. And does "read what he says in Mistborn" refer to what Felt says or what Brandon wrote?
  5. Thanks! Wow, that is not a lot to go on... Maybe it's something specific to Mistborn? It's been a long time since I read the orginal trilogy so I probabyl won;t pick up oany subtle references. I do wonder what (if anything) Felt reported to Elend's father. There's less in WoR, but I'm guessing he's the scout that found the circular plateau. The only other thing that comes to mind is that he is probably part of the 17th Shard, assuming he hooked up with Demoux.
  6. Yes, but "corrupted" could just mean a mixture of Investiture, so I am not sure how much we should read into the color. Could be something Honor and Cultivation related.
  7. WAV files are pretty much uncompressed. You could downsample the audio, but if you want to have a good shot at reducing the filesize MP3 is a better way to go.
  8. It's really hard to figure out from that scene. I just re-read and my first thought is she knows very little. But they talk about some very important things (desolation, voidbringers, KRs), and I'm not sure how casual she would be with those. It makes me think she has some idea that he's not the typical Wit just like I quoted above. But she was certainly surprised to some degree. We'll probably have to wait for SA3 to learn anything more.
  9. Could be this from TWoK: Keep in mind Moash was one of the good guys until he got caught up in the conspiracy.
  10. Granted. You write the Diagram on your smartphone. Which on a stupid day you accidentally drop in the toilet, losing it forever. Your bane is you are now known as Algernon. I wish this project at work was over with already!!
  11. Well, to be fair, he seems to be encouraging that too....
  12. Very nice. WIll upvote tomorrow when I have votes again. Looking forward to even more!
  13. Considering how hard "Felt" is to search on, could someone post some Kindle page numbers, or at least what book+chapters to look at?
  14. I need a swag pack more than a nuke beats dynamite!
  15. Jasnah is no fool, and she has met Wit before, so I find it hard to believe she did not suspect something. And that's assuming Hoid didn't speak to her more directly about some of this stuff (recall he almost said something to Shallan when her met her as that messenger). We also do not know how much she knows about the Ghostbloods or what they know about Hoid (assuming they care), which could present another avenue for her to learn more about him. And if he played a similar role in Roshar's history, she could have stumbled across a reference to him. Less likely, but I wouldn't want to completely rule it out. Considering all she just went through (escaping with her life), if she had no inkling, I think we would have seen some hint of surprise. So if nothing else, I think the evidence we do have is that she at least had her suspicions.
  16. I think this is setup Interlude so that Brandon can use Lhan later on when a flashback wouldn't work, or when a different POV is being used. Basically, Brandon has a character he can use in the Kholinar now, so e.g. he can be escaping with the queen, or someone Kal runs into, etc. Or give Lhan's POV of Kal arriving, etc. Basically, for juxtaposition, or maybe as a foil, or some other literary device.
  17. I read it as a mercy killing.
  18. Jasnah was part of the Ghostbloods??
  19. I'm starting to think that drawings made from a Memory that alter someone have a longer/stronger effect than just a drawing. If the Lightweavers were able to boost morale in a meaningful way, then it could be tied to Memories?
  20. Granted! They appear before you, in the middle of the room, on a sturdy cedar bookshelf that, not being bolted to the wall, topples over, crushing you. Your bane is to haunt that room forever. Since I am in a Ground Hog day loop, I suppose I should wish the weekend would never end again!!
  21. Nah, that's Veil, who is learning to not be so concerned about it.
  22. Maybe the plan is to take Nightblood back after it's been used on Odium (or for some other purpose). Isn't there a WoB saying that Nightblood and Vasher had a falling out, so Vasher didn't lose him, so not sure he needs to find it. Maybe he's just there to keep an eye on Nightblood.
  23. Granted. There can be only one, and it isn't you. Turns out immortality doesn't protect your neck from a sword.... I wish the weekend would never end!!
  24. True, we don't really know why he is there. But we don't see him trying to find Nightblood. Is he hoping to hear rumors by being an ardent? Is he training the others out of boredom? He seems to always be disagreeable, so I'm not sure how much we should read into that. If he was in paradise, I'm sure he would find something to gripe about.
